It really depends on when they arrive – if I get them before the 1st, I will do whatever I’m able to, but otherwise, there will be no rush as they do not re-release until December 26th. Right now, it seems unlikely that they will be here on the first. I did pay $35 for overnight.

Weekend plans: Spend this last day with my in-laws, go see my college alma mater (VCU–go Rams!) play our rival (ODU).
What are you most thankful for? I am thankful that my first Thanksgiving dinner went without a hitch! I am also thankful for my fur baby Buster, my hubby-to-be, the rest of my family and my friends!

Thanks, Christine! I cooked quite a bit: shrimp and artichoke dip, turkey, stuffing, cranberry orange relish, candied yams, kale, zucchini bread and a mulled chambourcin! My mom brought rice pudding and potato salad, my mother-in-law brought a ham and made gravy, and my grandma brought her infamous mac & cheese!
BTW, I went to Sephora to try a few NARS Audacious lipsticks…came home and ordered Audrey! And I used Ebates to place the order! So excited on both counts!

Let’s see, I was trying not to haul, but I did pick up (5) Tom Ford lips and boys yesterday at 6 AM (I’m in Los Angeles) and was pretty shocked to see them online. I was looking at the colors the day before, left the browser open and when I woke up the items were already available … and last night I got an email from Beautylish with a pretty substantial thank you credit, so I used it to order 3 lipsticks, (2) By Terry Rouge Terryblys and the CT Hepburn Honey because I loved how it looked on you. But I am staying away from shopping … I just increased my lipstick count by 8 … lol
Weekend Plans? … to do some running, and to pack my suitcases for my trip to Toronto in a few weeks š

I picked up Wes and Didier from the Plums, Alejandro and Leonardo from the Reds, and Cooper from the Fuschia to Magentas … kind of regretting not picking up Alasdhair … but maybe I’ll pick it up on the 1st at BG if they have it …. I’m really curious what that shade will look like.
Well, picking is better than backordered, lol! But at least Holden is showing 5 times for you š Then I’m not worried. I haven’t ordered from TF before. I would have preferred to order via Nordstrom, because points… I had hoped TF would be shipping this AM so I would have it in hand on the 1st (and hopefully get swatches up sometime on the 1st)… but I don’t think that will happen. Their CS is closed today, otherwise I would cancel and wait for Nordstrom to launch on the 1st!

I just called again (lol, my third attempt, but it proved fruitful!), and someone picked up online… they assured me my order would ship. They said three shades were backordered (Stavros, Julian, Addison), but they assured the rest will ship out today and be here on Monday. Fingers crossed.

LOL! I’ve been checking everything constantly, because it is an unusually high $ amount, so I figured my bank would call or text me, haha. I just hope they really do ship even if three shades are out of stock. I won’t feel relief until I see the FedEx tracking #!
I planned to get all 50 but couldn’t justify all the fuss online, ESPECIALLY when giftboxes are exclusive offline (darn!). I guess I’ll just have to wait till their boutiques launch on boxing day, sigh.

All and I mean all of my savings from when I was wee child is gone but happily worth it as Iām so thrilled to be using this lipsticks in 2015. The sacrifice though is that I wonāt be buying anything else at least until around my birthday in October of next year. Lol! Hurts but not too much. Iāve got enough lipsticks to last until Iām in my forties.
Weekend plans: Iāve put myself on lockdown in terms of buying anything other than food. I also have finals next week so Iāll be studying some more. In reality, I should be planning my funeral because even though I set my folks straight on how I can do whatever I want with my money, I know it fell on deaf ears. smh!
What are your most thankful for?: Hilariously the same family that chastises me about how I spend my money. I thank God for having blessed me with people that are so protective, wise, and strong to raise me before and even after my motherās passing. Itās been a hilarious, emotional, and quite touching adventure to say the least but I wouldnāt change a thing thatās happen to us so thatās what Iām thankful for.

As to what I’m looking forward to the most, I’d say most definitely my Guerlain KissKiss lipsticks in Red Insolence and Forever Brown along with the Tom Ford lipsticks, especially Coco Ravish, Deep Mink, Cary, Guillermo, and Henry. I’m curious to see how they’d look alone and with the Rimmel lip pencil CafĆ© au Lait. If they’re what I’m hoping they’ll be, then Tom Ford will have gained not only a new customer but a new lipstick fanatic. Guerlain already had my heart back when they created the La Petite Robe Noire scent <3.

I have deeply pigmented Berry plum lips and I bought a Rouge G in Gina, a golden red, with intentions of it blending to a crimson.. But it’s a neon bubblegum fruitpunch! It’s awful! I just want a red to show red! One that did for me long ago was never made again and I have sensitive lips and truly need a recommendation! I’m a freak of nature.. It’s so odd.. I’d love to hear your opinion as well! š you got quite the stack! I’m happy for you!! š
Aww, I forgot all about the Rouge G’s! I really wanted Gigi, Gracia, and Gwen and completely forgot about them! Dang it! š Ouch at how Gina turned out on you. It can be hard to find the perfect red for one’s lips, especially for heavily pigmented lips. I’m hoping the reds I got won’t show up as pink on my lips like some of the ones I had in the past did. We’ll see if I can come up with some recommendations. Thanks once again, Lotus! š

Mellan is such a happy dog! Hope you had a great Thanksgiving. My husband was wearing shorts yesterday, which weirded me out because I’m originally from the East Coast where it sometimes snows on Thanksgiving!
Haul: I didn’t buy much this week because I have been waiting for the Black Friday and Cyber Monday sales. I’ll have a much more exciting list next week, I’m sure. š I did get Smashbox O-Glow blush, and the Charlotte Tilbury powders I ordered are supposed to arrive today!

Haul: Not much in the way of beauty/makeup, but I did pick up a few clothing items, mostly from Urban Outfitters (I think UO will be my next addiction…). I did manage to pick up L’OrĆ©al Infallibles in Glistening Garnet & Sultry Smoke (BOGO1/2), Maybelline Age Rewind Concealer in Brightening (40% off), and L’OrĆ©al Silky Sheer BB (awesome as a primer!). I also grabbed the UD eyeshadow quad from the Sephora 500-point perk, and the benefit Posie Balm, but those are going to my daughter’s Christmas stocking.
Plans: Finish Christmas shopping; I’m usually done by early November, but since my daughter has sooo much already, it was hard to figure out what to get her… I’m also planning to dye my hair this weekend, but we’ll see how that goes!
I can totally relate to your shoe comment-I just went through the back of my closet, which I haven’t touched in 2 1/2 years, and found several pairs that I forgot about, some of which are brand new!
Thankful: Besides my family, I’m grateful to be in a decent position financially, and having a home & food every day.
I try to sort through my shoes pretty frequently and donate anything I haven’t worn in awhile, and I have done a better job of buying shoes I’ll actually wear often (instead of sky high stilettos that I can barely walk in), but there are so many pretty ones!
Haul: The Laura Mercier mini caviar set of 4, some MUG shadows, Chanel illusoire & envol illusion d’ombre shadows, and a pair of winter boots.
Weekend plans: I agree with Christine… Try to avoid the sales a bit! I need to give my sizzling credit card some time to cool off, but there’s lots of Black Friday sales in Canada now too! I think I’ll buy a new luggage set though, since my bf and I travel often (lots of family lives far away!).
What are your most thankful for?: Iām incredibly thankful for my family, my health, and for the place I live.
Do you have any favorites for luggage brands that hold up to traveling?
Not really! I won’t pay a lot for luggage, but I don’t want to pay the bare minimum either. It’s going to get roughed up anyway, but I don’t want it to fall apart – I think paying middle-ground prices is fair (luggage can be so expensive anyway, and you can always find a sale somewhere).
I’d say the best luggage I’ve owned so far was from Billabong – which I’ve been surprised about over the years. But the pieces I own have worn so well over that last 10+ years. Yesterday my boyfriend and I ended up purchasing two large duffle-hybrid suitcases that are from the brand Dakine for $300 combined – I hope they’re good! I’m in northern Canada & these were part of a local retailer’s Black Friday sales š We travel often, and at least once a year we’re gone for 2/3+ weeks so for us, it’s worth it to invest a bit in luggage.
Haul: Just shampoo
Weekend plans: Just a normal chilled weekend. I used my week off to do my usual weekend things.
What are your most thankful for?: Family, friends, job and my independence.

Weekend plans: almost the same, that keeping telling myself “I don’t need all of these” to resist the tempt. And hopefully I can pick up my computer from the repair shop.
What are your most thankful for?: I’m thankful to all of my friends and families for supporting me, emotionally and financially. I’m thankful of being able to be myself and never would had been forced into things that I don’t want to.
Also thank you Christine. It’s so touching to see your blog still updating today, when almost everything is on holiday (except for stores, lol). Your blog is the first thing I read every morning before I start my work. And I check it back in the afternoon as I wrap up the day. Weekend plans: Sleeping, probably! Crazy insomnia all week, so the sleep debt has been piling up… I expect to crash soon. Otherwise, cleaning my house so that it won’t be too gross when my cleaning lady comes, and finishing NaNoWriMo.
What are your most thankful for?: My husband. He works so dang hard all the time. I cherish the moments I spend with him and are grateful for his compassion and humor in the face of difficult circumstances. Also, my family–it’s my first Thanksgiving away from home, and I never realized how homesick it would make me!
Haul: I managed to get everything on my list from the Sephora sale, thanks to the info on this site! I should have fun next week, I will be stalking the mail box. I was impressed though, I got on the site at 11:00 pm Central time on the dot, had my purchases made in less than 10 minutes, and already this afternoon I got the shipping notice and it is on the way. Works for me!
Weekend plans: I still have another Thanksgiving dinner to make at my Mom’s house tomorrow, but I am hoping to get some time to catch up on sleep before the weekend is over.
What are your most thankful for?: I am most thankful for my wife, that we were finally able to get married this year after waiting 17 long years. I am thankful for my furbabies and my family and my job that allows me to work from home on my own schedule, and for all the wonderful people in my life, online included. Thanks, fellow makeup addicts!
Haul: took advantage of Tatcha’s black friday sale to pick up a few things and the Teadora event on hautelook. still considering on whether or not to try Pai also.
Weekend Plans: bathroom remodel research & house cleaning.
Thankful for a boyfriend who nurtures and encourages me in my beauty/skincare interest, harmonious relations with all my relatives, friendships, and good food!

Thank you to everybody who mentioned tea tree oil for breakouts! I picked up one for skin at the body shop but never used it.. Had concerns. I have an organic one that isn’t diluted from elsewhere to make disinfec spray with but I got s Nast hormonal breakout snd was in pain so I reached for the tea tree oil figuring it can’t get worse, and I had just read it was antiseptic and anti-fungal so it wouldn’t hurt.. And they’re near gone!!! First, the pain subsided, then I woke with them flatter, and they keep going towards normal skin! Thank you so much, Temptalia, for making people’s comments a conversation you care to have here!my skin also feels very soft! I’ve been switching up washing with oils to the la mer gel cleanser in a small size I bought on eBay because a drop foams the whole face, using a white Konjac sponge, Missha Time Revolution First Treatment Essence, same thing as SKII but cheaper, la mer tonic adds hydration, then tea tree oil, and sometimes Jurlique balancing oil but then the regenerating serum from la mer and I finish with either La Roche-Posay Cicaplast BAUME or a la mer gel or Creme. Results are astoundingly lifting my spirits and I have everybody here to thank! I pray it’s not a fluke! š I also hauled 3 L’Oreal silkissime liners in Plum, Charcoal, and the green! Ulta buy 2 get 1 free.. And on thanksgiving Sephora had 12% cash back so please get Ebates if a little money back can help you too! From shopping in 3 days, I have $72 coming in february.. So far.. Haul: Christmas presents! I spent all of my student grant on it today. Now I have nothing left to support my makeup addiction, I hope I survive these 3 weeks before christmas…
Weekend plan: Well, christmas present shopping with mom! <3
What I am most thankful for: Right now, a lot! My family, boyfriend, passing classes I'm close to failing… But mostly my friends are doing a lot for me. I was a bit depressed earlier this year because I lost contact with my best friend – but now I'm coming along very good with the girls in my class and we're getting closer everyday!
Haul: Lipstick Queen Jungle Queen Lipstick (really lovely, the formula is just awesome) and Too Faced Borderline Invisible Lip Pencil – haven’t tried it yet!
Weekend plans: Hung out with my boyfriends family and did some work š was a nice relaxing weekend!
What are your most thankful for?: I’m thankful I have persevered in my challenges in life, because I have people around me who always encourage me to keep going!!
