Spring 2010 Makeup Collection Round-up
Are you ready for Spring?
‘Cause there’s a whole lotta beauty coming your way… If you absolutely cannot wait to get your hands on a collection, do what I do and obsessively stalk Nordstrom’s “What’s New” section for the latest goods. (They just put up Guerlain’s new collections today! I’ve also spied Chanel and Clinique.) YSL is doing pre-orders for their Spring Look on their official website. I saw a few pieces of Dior start getting listed on Sephora… so you can imagine that in the next two or three weeks, we’ll see a lot of these launches come online. There are still a few more brands to add to the round-up as information is released, but for now…

I’m looking forward to the MAC Spring Colour Forecast Collection, I can’t believe how much stuff is coming out at once on that day! Those 2 quads sound very promising.
I can’t wait for Guerlain’s Cherry Bloss collection! I’ve been lusting after it ever since seeing your swatches and Cherry Bloss look. I think a SA told me Jan 1st!
I’m most excited about the MAC Spring Colour Collection, and MAC Art Supplies Collection.
Oh my, and there’s a few days left of 2009…….. Come this spring, I really have to exert full self-control when I hit any beauty hall. Already had my eyes on MAC in Lillyland, and Clinique – the Pear shadow, and Guerlain, and Dior, and…and…and …….oh my pocket!
I have to say, though I’ve enjoyed the reprieve from having to buy something new every week, I’m kind of missing seeing the releases and making purchases and trying new things out. I guess that’s why they call it a makeup addiction! I’m excited for all of it – no push in particular, I’m sure there’ll be stand out products for all of them. My wallet weeps.
I’m most excited for MAC Spring Colour Forecast and China Glaze Up and Away! Also MAC Give Me Liberty of London… but just cuz I wanna see the packaging! I must say though, MAC releases FAR too many collections per season.
Yes, I am ready! 🙂 I really look forward to warm temperatures and sunshine again, to wear jeans and tops and sunglasses!
And I look forward to MAC: Spring Colour Forecast collection, Give Me Liberty Of London and Viva Glam and to China Glaze Up & Away and OPI Hong Kong!! Yay!
I got to test some of the Lillyland collection last night at my local MAC store (I am friendly with a couple of the MUA’s so one of them pulled the display from the back room)….bright colors (not sure if I could pull them off or not) and I am test-driving the Coconut Icen nail lacquer right now….pretty!!

There are certainly a lot of collections I’m excited about, far too many to mention all, but some are Guerlain (Kiss Kiss and Rouge G Le Brilliant – I already have all the Cherry Blossom products thanks to eBay lol), Dior, YSL, Mac (Too Fabulous for the blushes, Spring Colour Forecast (pink and purple eyeshadows, lipsticks and glosses, plus those blushes!),Lillyland, and I’m still awaiting the MSFs from Warm and Cosy and Love Lace too), Clinique, Clarins, Urban Decay Alice BOS, etc. etc. I spent a LOT of money in November/early December on the holiday collections, so I’m being good now and will splurge again come January/February. 🙂
Yay for spring makeup! I can’t wait to try the Opi Alice in Wonderland nail polish, and the new Chanel eye shadows. I’m hoping they’re more pigmented than they look in the picture on their site. But, am trusting that Chanel will come through as usual! I found some awesome spring colors last week at a site called http://www.mattifycosmetics.com – bought one called Daydreamer and Summer Storm. Daydreamer is an awesome blue-reminds me of the sky on a spring day. Summer storm is a sparkly grey, and makes a nice smokey eye that’s not too heavy. I have never found a grey shadow that worked for me until finding this one. Well thanks for the list of spring makeup. I’m going to hit the mall this weekend!
