Swatch Saturday: Make Up For Ever Artist Shadows - Iridescent Finish (Part 2)
Make Up For Ever Artist Shadows
The temptation was too strong! I gave into the desire to collect ’em all (I need three more, if my calculations are correct!). Here’s a look at another fifteen shades from the Iridescent finish range of Make Up For Ever Artist Shadows. The post includes a combination of shades I purchased and some press samples (I purchased approximately 185 of the 210 shades).
See all of these shades in the Swatch Gallery!

Sky Blue and Indigo Blue are so pretty, I will definitely get them before next summer!
Nice! 😀
I can’t even imagine a scenario where I would need to buy 210 eyeshadows but these are so gorgeous, these have to be my faves of all the mufe ones I’ve seen so far
There’s no such scenario where one NEEDS to do that for sure. Even for me, it is a stretch – I justify it because they’re permanent at a major retailer, most of the shades I’ve tried (and at this point, probably half the range or more) perform well, so they work really well for duping future products.
Bronze khaki! Love!
It’s pretty!
These look wonderful! Shame they aren’t easy to get over here. I’d definitely get these if I had easier access. 🙂
I wish they were 🙁
Oh, I may have to give in to Bronze Khaki.
It has a nice finish!
Bronze Khaki is one the to-buy list! I definitely want to add that one to my collection.
That seems to be the fave!
You’re missing a swatch of I414 Yellow Ivory. 😉
Fixed — sorry!
Thank you so much for all these wonderful swatches! They are so useful!
How do you think Linden Green compares with 2 Dozen and 1 Greyhounds?
It’s lighter — http://www.temptalia.com/submit-dupe?sbs=1&pid=171094&dupe=173079
Blue Skye, Indigo and pine green…so pretty!
Do you think you’ll get any of those, Jenn?
There’s no swatch of Yellow Ivory 🙂
I might get my hand on pink ivory! I really like periwinkle too!
Fixed — sorry!
Oo! There’s two I wanted to see! Great!! This calls for a, ” Stop. No, don’t stop!” Just too good… Thank you so much! I’m so thankful to you for these references! You rock, Christine! O.O (for duping certain projects.. Uh huh.. You have a fever similar to mine with collecting! I don’t believe you for one second! But I love the fact you say no one NEEDS them but.. Haha!! Way to justify what needs no justification! It’s what we love and collect! This isn’t a site for car parts.. 😀 This is just took great and amusing! 😀
There has to be a justification to spend for the business – can’t just be purely want 🙂 I have invested in entire ranges for things like MAC and Inglot eyeshadows, and those have proved to be good choices!
Very true, for your. Situation calls for that. Well said! 🙂
Bronze Khaki, Indigo Blue and Pine Green are my faves. I bet they’d look so beautiful smudged on my bottom lids
They totally would!
PINE GREEN will be mine. Gorgeous, unique and sleek. I Love it, I love it, I love it !!!!!!!!
It is very pretty!
I have been eagerly awaiting your swatches on these! I know it’s so hard to get so many shadows up at the same time, but these are amazingly helpful! Sky Blue made my heart stop a little. I have a few more on my wishlist now – thanks Christine!
But they look so pretty together that it’s well worth the effort 🙂
Do you have any favorites or recommendations for someone who wanted to try a few? Maybe like top five, mix of neutral and color. Thanks Sarah
I’m working on it! 🙂 I need to play more with all of the finishes (particularly mattes), and once I have everything swatched, it’ll be easier for me to try to group some together.
Thanks!! I’ll look forward to that post!
Love all their blues and greens. They are beautiful and look to be of good quality from the swatches. The Pine green is my favourite.
Pine Green is very interesting!
Ingigo, Pink Granite, all the greens: Oh, my! *swoon* I love them all, though. Even the sky blue is gorgeous, and that’s not usually a shade I’d be into.
Pink Granite is a nice one!
They are all lovely! I really want Linden Green, I don’t have anything like it. So pretty!
Very spring-y!
Indigo, Meadow Green and Pink Granite! My heart still belongs first to Simbad’s Seas, but Indigo is beautiful, and has a great depth under the sapphire sprakle. Meadow Green is such a cool , almost duochromey kind of shade… I *really* need to expand my collection of greens…
Simbad’s Seas was a good one!
These are so gorgeous!
They are!
