Thank you for the heads up! I have four NYX Lip balms in the ‘vamp’ range on my wishlist. I am going to try to wait until Wednesday to order, to see what their new 4 hour beauty treat is. Last Wednesday I got 6 lipsticks, a few that are full sized, for ordering things I would have anyway.
This time, if the new Benefit blush set loads (October 1st, fingers crossed!) I can order that and the NYX to get to the order minimum and free shipping.

I haven’t used so much from the drugstore brands lately. Maybe I should just dig all of the drugstore products up and use them, and only them for a week, just to see what I think. Not a bad idea, as it’s closing in on the yearly going-through – everything- makeup to see what if anything that’s gone bad.
You should totally do this!
I literally just spent about $40 on Nyx products at Ulta YESTERDAY. Haha. Oh well!

You didn’t mention them above, but you did throw some love their way in the 2014 Editor’s Choice Awards, but the NYX Slim Lip Pencils are solid lip liners with a lot of choice. Many beauty writers note that mascara can be a good place to save, and mascaras from L’Oreal, Cover Girl, and Maybelline frequently get love. NYX Doll Eye is good, too.
Mascara is definitely a good place to save!

Ulta really has some great deals right now. It’s too bad the site empties my cart before I can purchase anything EVERY TIME I try shopping for makeup! (It just happened to me again… and I haven’t quite recovered from being irate yet.) There isn’t an Ulta near me so online shopping is my only option. I guess I can look at the positive side of this, I save hundreds of dollars every year due to not being able to shop at Ulta.com. (I bet my husband wishes I’d have the same problem with the Sephora site! LOL)
