About this Look

I started with a 3-part wash on the upper lid: a yellow-ish gold (Standing-O by Bare Minerals) on the inner 1/3; a peachy-orange in the middle (Nirvana, Bare Minerals); and a barbie-reminiscent pink on the outer 1/3 (UD’s Sphynx). Pack the colors on and blend them out and together from lash line to above the crease.

Then, I went in to the crease with a detail brush and lightly blended in a darker orangey-red (Kat Von D’s Wrath), pulling it into the outer V as well. Blend that well with Sphynx and Nirvana (might need more Sphynx as its pigmentation is kind of meh).

For the lower lid, I wrapped Standing-O around the inner corner and down below the inner 1/3 of the lower lash line. In the middle, add a little of UD’s Flipside, then Jinx, and finally Ecstasy. Blend Standing O through Flipside and Jinx so they blend together cleanly, and lightly blend Jinx with Ecstasy. Pack a little more Ecstasy on and w/ a natural blending brush, pull it lightly out and around the eye’s outer corner (it has pink undertones, so it’ll blend well with Sphynx!).

I packed a little more Wrath on and blended that together with Ecstasy and Sphynx. In the outer corner of the eye, to tie the red/ orange/ pink/ purple together (and add some depth), go in with a fushia (I used UD’s Woodstock) lightly on a domed smudge brush.

On my upper and lower waterline, I used Milani’s Liquif’eye in Aqua; and on the upper lid, I lined with Sephora + Pantone Universe liquid liner in the 2013 color of the year (Emerald). I finished with a mascara that I was very unhappy with, so I’ll leave that out. 🙂
