Haha, this is a joke right? Very funny, Christine. And I (seriously) just called Neimans and pre-ordered a few of the new Tom Ford collection…a break the bank for me.
But this just makes me laugh. $25 a pop for 20 items (I did the math right)? Because?
Not in my shopping bag but you did brighten my day (with laughter).

Well, 10 polishes at $20 = $200 and then 10 lipsticks at $32 = $320, so the value seems to be $520. I’m a bit surprised to see there’s not much “value” in it – like when UD released its eyeliner vault and eyeshadow vault, they were pricey but more of a “deal” if you had the money and wanted to own all the shades.

Okay…but UD actually discounted from the full retail price. As did Too Faced with their bronzer book. At full value why not pick and choose…?But if you have the budget and desire then, of course, go for it. I won’t be competing for the limited edition. Just my own opinion….

OMFGWTFBBQ! There goes my Xmas bonus. Even though I may already have some of these, I LOVE Nars nail polishes, and lipsticks. EEEK!

$520, so it’s not a deal, I guess you’d have to be in love with the box and/or plan to buy these exact shades? I remember when UD did their eyeshadow vault – it was $595.00, but a $1,234 value so at least if you REALLY REALLY wanted all of the eyeshadow shades UD makes, it was a deal.

I LOVE this, I can imagine how beautiful it would look in my home, but it will have to be a dream. 🙂 I would never get that much use out of it, too many colors that are beautiful to look at but not that practical for me. But I love the idea!

Will probably sell out quickly. I don’t think it’s something I’d consider buying, but for real NARS fans with good economy, I guess it’s a must have.

If you were saving maybe $50-150 and loved a lot of the shades… I think it might be, but since the real perk is you’re getting a special box, it just matters how well done the box is (it’s hard to tell what it’s like from the photo). Otherwise, with 40 shades of lipstick and I think 30 or 40 shades of polishes… better to pick your faves yourself.

Even if you wore lipstick all day every day, and painted your nails every time they got chipped, they’d go bad before you could use them up!
I’m very puzzled by Nars. They have the high-end price tag but so many of their products just don’t perform remotely well enough to justify the price. Same with Dior eyeshadows…I never understood. It’s one thing to pay for quality – I love my Urban Decay – but Nars has a lot of duds.

If only I could afford this, it would be the ultimate gift even though I am not super, super into spending a lot on nail polishes, it’s still so beautiful!Just read the comments below about it not being a super good deal either, which is kind of disappointing. 🙁

This is hardly a deal, actually I wouldn’t even call it one. It’s basically, buy 10 lipsticks and 9 nail polishes to get ONE free. Who would throw $500 away on generic shades that don’t look good on all skin types? You might as well hand pick out the ones you like and spend half of that, and actually enjoy all of the colors. I’m just dissapointed in this.
