First, I’ll share mine!
Several permanent MAC red lipsticks for The Scarlet Season series! (Hey, it’s hard to round out your permanent collection when MAC releases so many distracting limited edition shades!
I physically bought and took home UD’s Eyeshadow Primer in Sin, then used the F&F discount to get the 24/7 Eyeliner set with 9 shades. I can’t wait for it to arrive!
I just got the Benefit holiday lipgloss set (3 double ended glosses) with my beauty bonus rewards from Debenhams today. 🙂 I’ve also bought a couple of Guerlain G lipsticks in #61 and #62 (one of them is a tester I found on eBay super cheap) and they’re so lovely! 🙂
I’m glad it’s Friday, had a long busy week with the children, looking forward to a nice lie in tomorrow.
Ha! I love your haul, Christine! Mine was a couple of “useful” items at the MAC f/s store last week: brush cleaner, Shroom e/s in pan (no, I had never owned it before! figured I needed a truly “neutral” – not too gold, not too white – highlighter), and Viva Glam V lipglass, the ultimate neutral gloss. I have too many brights.
Oh, and I guess my shu uemura haul from HauteLook, but that won’t count until it arrives 🙂
I’d love it if people shared some dessert recipes, actually! I’m trying to bake more. I love cooking and do it a LOT, but I don’t bake much because it’s so precise. But I have such a sweet tooth and would love to make my own goodies more often. PLUS, I have a holiday bake sale coming up next month at the animal shelter I volunteer at, and I’d love to be able to contribute goods as well as time to it!
In exchange, I offer a recipe for my latest soup creation – it’s a butternut squash soup (so great for fall/holiday) made all fancy. It’s vegetarian and easily made vegan, too!

From Sephora I just bought Philosophy Purity, Bareminerals Matte foundation, & Too Faced lipstick in Free Love. Then I just ordered from UD’s F&F the Book of Shadows (for my lil sis’s bday), eyeshadow in X, & Deluxe eyeshadow in Freakshow. =)
I want to build up my blush collection. =)
Bought 2 more Dazzleglasses both in Baby Sparks which has become my HG lipgloss & I used the 1st 1 up in RECORD TIME! lol about a month! I like to mix it with defferent shades. I also bought Coalface & B. Electro (for a 5th time!) from LUSH. I’m off today (I’m a CNA) so I’m gonna spend the day chasing my 1 yr old around the house & maybe take him to the park! I’ve been wanting Baby Sparks forever but then Dazzleglass Cremes came out and I picked up Soft Dazzleglass-reminds me of Baby Sparks but w/more color (had to get the LE first lol) & I LOVE it!!

OMG, I used the sale to get the Tarte’s mini’s too – how do you apply them???
most recommend rubbing your finger on top of the product so you get some on the pad of your finger, and patting colour on your cheeks..then blending with your finger as well. It “warms” the stain and blends it into skin better.
Well I hade a good size MAC haul i’ve only ever tried a couple of pigments so I ordered all 3 holiday sets and i’m loving them so far I ordered the Blackfire Glimmerglass, She-Zam Dazzleglass,Perfectly unordinary Dazzleglass Creme,Iris Accents Softsparkle eye pencil,ever so rich creamsheen glass, and so this season lipglass.
OMG, I’ve been hauling like crazy lately! Just picked up NARS Sheer Matte Foundation, Powder Foundation and China Blue e/s from Blue Mercury Apothecary, I got 6 MAC e/s and 3 l/g from the CCO. I picked up Chanel Rouge Allure in Phoenix from Neiman Marcus. My first bottle of Fix+ (yay!) and the 109 brush… Young Punk MES a while ago… I think that’s it. And I won’t be buying anything new for a while
I’ll be going to the movies with my cousin and sis this weekend to see “Precious”… what new movies are you guys looking forward to seeing??

Annnnd let’s see… I haven’t eaten anything today and I don’t want to go grocery shopping while I’m hungry, so I’m gonna go get a sandwich. 🙂
I wasn’t going to buy any makeup because I was going to challenge myself to go on a makeup ban until January, but Sephora sent me a VIB coupon for 20%, so I couldn’t resist. I loose all my self control when I hear sales and gift with purchases at Sephora and many makeup counters! I picked up a Tarte Treasure Chest with the 20%. I always wanted to try something from Tarte, so I thought this would be a good opportunity to try multiple items for a fairly good price (regular price $68 CAD, but with 20% it is $54.40 before tax). $54 is no small change but it worked out to be only a bit over $1 for 58 pieces of makeup and I get to experience I new brand. Good news is that I won’t need to make big purchases for this brand for a while.
I am reading Cradle to Cradle written by two architects, it is about sustainability.

I ordered from Chantecaille the future skin foundation and the compact makeup and the shades look like they will be pale enough for my skin. I’m really excited for the order to get on Monday because it also includes the Tiger Highlighter for free. Also planning on going to Sephora and getting the platinum air brush fro foundation because I’ve read some reviews that say it is better than the MAC 109, which I currently use.
My favorite receipt is the toll house cookie recipe but I add vanilla instant pudding mix to the cookie dough. I know it sounds weird but it makes them so amazing!!!

Well, it’s the “time of the month” for me.. So I really hate it! For 2 days, I’m just at home.. Hate the cramps! It’s killing me.. I took Advil for the pain and just got a lot of rest.. Argh!
Guerlain’s gloss 805– an irredescent gorgeous spring green (the ULTIMATE topper for MAC’s LE lollipop lovin’; it really brings out the green shimmer w/o masking the coral color with a yellow tinge like MAC’s Spring Bean gloss does).
YSL’s lipstick Volupte #13 a beautiful peach shade that in extrememly pigmented and creamy– think of a blend between a cremesheen and amplified MAC finish. Oh, and ladies, don’t pay the $30+ dollars for this at the counter, check ebay first. I got mine for $13 including my shipping!!! That’s cheaper than a MAC lipstick. Not a fake either! I was worried, but I checked it against my #13 that was running low, same everything, including the divine mango-tropical scent.
Got my hands on MAC’s mineralized STYLE DEMON!!! I know, I’m late on the bandwagon and every MAC I’ve gone to has been sold out. It’s online though, in the good-bye section, so hurry. I’m wearing it now with pride, it’s the most beautiful holiday flush with a slight sheen, which is great for winter, since skin is a touch dryer, the marbled shimmer really lights the face up. Urban Decay order came in yesterday! I got the 24/7 Super Stash, Best of Urban Baked Set, and the Book of Shadows II. I also got a perfume and the Stila Kitten collection (containing the kitten e/s and lip glaze) from the Sephora FF sale.
I went to Macy’s this morning and picked up the Cool Capers and Sexpot pigment sets. Not a big haul considering last week I got 3 MAC shadows (Antiqued, Coppering and Ricepaper), Love Nectar Lustreglass and Roman Holiday Dazzleglass after doing a back 2 MAC. I loves me a good haul but nothing’s better than a free one:-D

Also… confession… I soo wanted the DuWop lip Venom Twilight stain… And I admit, although I didn’t think the Twilight thing would get me… I also saw it in Shoppers Drug Mart along with the Lune or whatever line and the lipstick stains in the line were hot – has anybody purchased any?? reviews??? What are your thoughts on lip venom?

Ohhhh bad news – I will be returning the three mini Tarte’s cheek stains. So gritty!!!! It was like I was exfoliate with them! 🙁 Maybe I’ll pick up Tarte’s Tipsy stain instead. I am sad. They were so cute and such pretty colours.

I thought that they were a little dry also…..I was expecting a smoother consistancy. I was just gonna keep em, and use a foundation brush to apply, but maybe I *will* return ’em too. I’m not having much luck with creme blush….guess I will stick to the powders!
Just curious, which of the three was your favorite? I liked Princess the most……

I thought they were all so pretty! But what sold me was Brilliant! In store they felt smooth and I thought maybe it was just mine but I read some reviews on Sephora after and others had the same grit/dry experience 🙁 I tested some of their other cheek stains during that trip which seemed fine so I will give the brand another chance. 🙂
I really like cream blushes and have had luck with Smashboxs blush sticks (think they still have them… Haven’t bought one in a while) and MAC cremeblushes are good too. The mini NARS multiple trio (holiday pack deal) are really awesome. If you exchange the Tarte, try the NARS trio! Creamy goodness! Let me know how it goes! 🙂
I bought all of the Mischief makers sets that I’ve been lemming for ever since Temptalia put them on her website. Picked up an eye kit and an eye palette in “6 Smoke and Mirrors”. I also picked up the Flirt! Limited Edition palette from Kohl’s.

My last haul non-makeup was some stuff to make jewelery for people and myself. Makeup wise it was a slightly used foundation in a shade that isn’t in the US (shu uemura creme foundation).
Something different, hmmm… I suggest “Let the Right One in.” It’s a fast read, but I liked it.
My only haul this week was a MAC haul of HELLO KITTY lipglass (15 different shades)…my first experience with lipglass, so I’ll let you know.
I just recently rolled up to VIB status with Sephora, so I’m off in the morning to use my 20% at my local store….and I *might* wander into the MAC store when I’m at the mall…..
I was fairly sedate with my Sephora haul….Harajuku Lovers-LIL’ ANGEL; OPI for Sephora in I’M WITH BRAD and UD Primer Potion.
MAC on the other hand was outta-control: PRUNELLA Eye Kohl, Pro Palette 15; Single shadows in SCENE, SHALE, SILVER RING and COPPERPLATE, SEXY SHENANIGANS Mini LipGlass/LustreGlass set; Do-The-Trick Brush set.
Now, off to HIDE my loot from the hubby…….
Well, I need to stop IMPULSE buying!!! The MAC brush set is going back–I didn’t realize that the quality of the sets differed so drastically with the handmade individual brushes. I’ll exchange the set for the ONE brush I really NEED right now….
I just got home from Sephora. I bought the Korres Yoghurt Regimen Kit although I should have bought stuff online with that cool discount Temptalia readers get. I also got OPI for Sephora Nail Colour Drying Drops, and NARS lipstick in Honolulu Honey and lip gloss in Bad Education and the clutch they’re giving out. And going to order my Urban Decay stuff this weekend.

i found elf make-up brushes for 1$ at my local discount store. trying to find a brush like mac 239 because i don’t have a mac here. the eye shadow brush is great, but i threw the foundation brush away because it was painful. decided to trek to Ulta for the fourth time in two weeks, and finally got around to an NYX semi-haul…ts 05 and ts 37…would have gotten more but i got “scolded” for opening up unsealed product. sigh…did manage to pick up the stila smudge pot collection before i got in trouble, lol…and I AM IN LOVE in ways i have never known with those smudge pots, OMG…

i got all 3 mac pigment holiday sets. i got a smashbox master class glamour eyes hazel set from the F&F sephora sale online. went to walmart and got a hardcandy blush in pinup – to complete their blush collection. i also got a lipglos, lipstick, mineralized e.s and nailpolish in a sparkly yellow/gold color- it looks like i have fish scales on my toes right now- PRETTY COOL!
