Haul: They had a 40% on all lipstick and lipgloss so I went a little crazy… I got the YSL Rouge Volupte Shine in 8, Dior Addict in Wonderland and the Clarins Jolie Rouge in Watermelon. I also need a new Aesop Control Gel, this stuff just works wonders when you feel a break out coming!
Weekend: Studying… I have exams ’til the end of June 🙁
Holiday: I try to go somewhere new every time and then I just want to experience the country! Through sights and food 🙂

I got two tank tops and uh… makeup remover. Oh! And OPI nail polish in Thanks A Windmillion that I haven’t worn yet since I’m trying to let this Orly Nail Defense that I also got do some magic to my nails by itself because the majority of my nails are in TERRIBLE shape and do not need colour polish on them right now, lol. And I didn’t *buy* this, but I won a giveaway from pinkiecharm, a 24/7 UD liner in Perversion and some Beauty from the Earth (I think?) eyeshadows, so I’m waiting for that to come to the mailbox!

Haul: Rite Aid is having 40% off of L’Oreal this week. I picked up a True Match foundation in a summer color, I picked up a concealer crayon in the darkest shade to contour (not sure if I like it yet), and a infalliable eye shadow (pinkish/purplish light color)
I can’t remember if I bought this stuff this week or not…Orly Ridge Filling Base Coat & the new mousse hair dye (Maybe for L’Oreal?))
Weekend plans: watching the Belmont (go California Chrome! whoo!), Nick Carter chat, and taking my parents to lunch w/ the gift card I won from a local radio station
What do you like to do on vacation?: lots of sightseeing (I love going to museums) and eating like a local

Plans: Birthday weekend! Hanging out with hubby’s boss and wife on Saturday to meet their new puppy. Hopefully have some “me” time to do my nails for Sunday. Sunday, PARTY! Well, not really, lol. We might go to a pet adoption event in Irvine in the morning after we pick up my cake. Late afternoon we’re meeting with family at a restaurant then heading back to my place for presents, cake, and watch the boys run around. My son can now keep up better with his older cousins. 😀
Vacay: Eat foods I don’t eat at home. Take in new sights. Make new memories.

Weekend plans: Cleaning the house, gardening, going to see the new x-men movie, preparing for my vacation next week.
What do you like to do on vacation?: EAT GREAT FOOD. Drink good wine. Take beautiful hiking trails, see the local sights, check out the local arts scenes and museums. Turn off the internet for awhile and enjoy the beauty of life. 😀

This week – not sure what happened – bought 2 Mac Goddess of the Sea lipsticks, 2 Pure Heroine lipsticks, both Osbourne eyeshadow quads and the eyeshadow duo.
I more than doubled my Mac collection this week, I looooove purple lipsticks though!
No plans yet for the weekend, so we’ll see how things go!
On vacation I like to go shopping, do lots of walking, sight seeing, being generally very touristy!

VACATION: I don’t like eating out much, so it depends on the cuisine of wherever I’m at to see if I want to eat out but I love beaches and pools and sightseeing and if the hotel room is fancy I like to just lounge around and cuddle

I made a modest order from Southern Magnolia Minerals (does that count as a “haul” as I have to wait for the package to come?). I got a couple of their matte eyeshadows, a facial wash for sensitive skin, my beloved “well rested” mineral powder that I use to set my under eye concealer, and also, I ordered two lipsticks. I have not tried their lip products yet even though I have been ordering from them for several years now. We will see how they work out.
I have to clean house, do laundry, and hem a pair of shorts. For me, that is a really big “to do” list.
When I am on vacation, I like to vegg out, read, take walks, do a little bit of sightseeing and eat good food. I often try out new make up looks while I am away from my home territory. I am pretty conservative with the paint pots, so I live it up a little when I am on vacation.

Haul: I’m waiting for 4 new Dior Addict Lipsticks that I ordered, along with the new version of the Too Faced Natural Eyes palette. I enjoy going home from work and finding goodies in my box!

What do you like to do on vacation: It really depends on where I’ve gone. We’re going to NYC in a few weeks, with my older son, who has never been, so we will do some typical tourist type sightseeing and take in a play or musical and find some neat places to eat and do a bit of shopping….
Have a blast in NYC! That’s going to be so much fun 🙂 I’ve been twice, but I’ve never done anything touristy (it’s always been for work!).
Haul: Acrylic drawers that will hold my palettes. Will probably add my blushes/face powders to them so I can spread out my eyeshadows into some more categories. I ordered a bunch of Shiro Cosmetic Intertubes and my Darling Girl order arrived.
Plans: Trying to convince my dog to swim, watching movies with friends.
On Vacation: Plop my butt down in a cafe with a view of the street and people watch.

Tower holds eye liner at the top and lipstick in the bottom, remaining 8 drawers are loose pigment pots. Divisions are now Darks, Mattes, Gold/Taupe, Copper/orange, Purple, Green, Silver/Black, and Samples. Wide drawers were supposed to fit palettes but was just a smiiidge too small. Fits all of my face products in one drawer though, and non-lipstick lippies plus Sugarpill Burning Hearts is in the bottom, with face samples in the mostly empty top. When the last bunch of lippies I ordered comes in I’ll probably re-organize a bit so lips are coherent as well. Brushes are the ones I washed today, the rest are in the cupboard in the mug.

Haul: I’ve been so obsessed trying to track down Opal from Becca that I forgot about everything else I wanted to pick up, lol. So, here’s the update on that! I *thought* I had found it because from Sephora’s site there was a location relatively close that listed it as in stock. When I say this location is relatively close, I mean it’s a 2.5 hour one way drive, lol. No luck, though, because the site was wrong. Then, I decided to just call all the closer locations to me to double check. Nope, no luck, and they all basically said good luck, but this is really popular and hard to get, but you can keep trying. For shits and giggles, I tried another location in another state that was listed as having it in stock. Well, not only was it not in stock ( duh, at this point), but it hadn’t even been for 2 months, lol. So much for it being listed as available within last 24 hours, geez. At that point, I stopped calling locations because even if I had found it, I wouldn’t have been able to get it since they won’t ship from their locations. Every etailer…you guessed it, OOS! Some sites listing it as backordered until July 15. I did find a few on ebay, but for $60-$80, so nope that’s not happening. I really just don’t get why this keeps happening. It’s like…Go home, Becca; you’re drunk!!!
Weekend plans: Gonna try to go see my nephew! And, of course, my bro and sis-in-law.
What do you like to do on vacation?: Relax and just have fun, of course! I like to get a feel for what each location has to offer. The best part of vacations is getting to see and do stuff you’d never get to do in your town. And come on, EAT!! Lol. Food…nomnomnom, lol. I write this while hungry.

What kind of color is Vouvray?
It’s kind of like a pink your-lips-but-better shade from the Luminous Creme line. Sephora says it’s “ballet pink” (and I had to make sure I spelled it right haha). was kind of on the fence about buying it because I almost never use lip color, but I am SO glad I did! I could see myself using it every day!

Haul: I managed to snag Sea Me, Hear Me last weekend. I was shocked there was anything left from this collection at the MAC counter! I almost bought Heroine, but might see how Pure Heroine looks, if I’m lucky enough see it in person first.

Haul: Finally got Guerlain’s Parure de Lumiere in #3 (wore it for first time yesterday : verrry nace!) and Guerlain Cil D’enfer maxi lash mascara. Wow. Love this too. Up till now Chanels le volume mascara has been my HG but this is on a par.
Weekend Plans: We’ve been invited out for dinner but other than that nothing else planned.
What do I like to do on vacation: Bit of sightseeing,l’il bit of sunbathing but LOTS of shopping! Hubby is not far off the mark when he rolls his eyes and mutters under his breath “What a lightweight !” .Yup, thats me!

Have you tried the Color Balm Lipsticks before?
I like them and my mom fell in love with them when I got Vivienne from Sephora. I saw they were on sale at Ulta so I bought two more shades! They have a nice peppermint feeling, a thin consistency, and a nice sheen. The packaging is ok, there is a tiny mirror on the top which I appreciate, and it doesn’t weigh 500 pounds because of the mirror like Rouge G, haha! I just hate the applicator, it’s a thick lipstick tube, not good for application at all.
Rouge G is totally love/hate re: packaging. Nice that you “get” something for your money, but it’s heavy, the label is TINY to read, and they’re a pain to store!

Haul: Total splurge – I got Clé de Peau Beauté concealer, Armani Face Fabric, NARS Lost Coast eyeshadow duo and Iraklion shadow stick, and an Inglot blush in this beautiful raspberry shade. I’ve been selling a bunch of stuff on eBay, so I had some pin money. 🙂
Weekend plans: I’d like to see Maleficent. We saw X-Men last weekend and it was really good. So excited for all the big summer movies coming out now. List more things on eBay and clean up around here!
What do you like to do on vacation? Eat! I do like seeing the tourist attractions, too. But mostly eat.

Mellan is always so cute!
Haul, I was so good last week, and I fully intended to keep purcases at zero. But, I just happened to walk past Sephora and they had a buy three for two on select nail polishes and nail products, so I just had to go in and look. I bougth three polishes, Bright purple, Holland Park, bright pink, can’t find a name on it and anouter nameless in a blue-green shimmer. A sephora handcreme, Instant nail & cuticle care, a dip in jar with camelia oil, and cotton pads. Couldnt leave without checking Sephora’s own eyeshadows and lip products and I bought 2 eye shadows, 50 a greyish brown and 16, a muted blue-green-grey wit just a hint of shine.
I also happened to walk past the Benefit aisle, and got their Dream Screen SPF 45 and a Big Easy Bigger than BB in 01 fair. A Head to toe hydrator from their own brand also came with me home.
I passed a Body Shop and got their Instablur All in one 5-action perfector. Not tried it yet.
And finally I went past one of the department stores, Åhlens, where I went to the MAC counter, just to browse, mind you. I left with a new empty 15 palette, eye shadows in Malt, Quarry and Plum Dressing, Prunella eye pencil, I love it! And finally a Mineralize Skinfinish Natural in Light.
On my way out I bought a dry shampoo, shampoo and conditioner from Swedish (I thnk) brand Lernberger Safsing and Hair in the Sun from, also Swedish, Sachajuan, UV protection for the hair. I also got two lipsticks from Maybelline, I think they make affordable lipsticks in fun and classic colours, this time I bought 904, Vivid Rose and 912, Electric Orange.
That turned out to be quite a big haul, oh well, Some of it I actually needed, the hair products 🙂
Weekend, nothing fun, chores, cleaning, recykling.
Vacation, if I go abroad, I love to eat interesting good food, see the sights, and I really like going to big stores to see what they have for sale, like, and I know this sounds wierd, look at what kind of cleaning products they have. I love seeing the nature when I travel.

I really like Sephora’s Colorful Mono Eyeshadows – they’re really quite nice!! How are you liking the two you picked up?
So far I’ve only tried the grey one, I liked it a lot, soft, easy to blend, a good neutral shade. The green-blue one had to wait as I had to use MAC Plum Dressing today.
