I usually do a sweep of Ricepaper eyeshadow, a touch of brown-black mascara on lashes, and Sweetie or Mari-sheeno lipstick.

I would probably wear natural but check out if I could wear whatever I want later on. LOL I dont think I could take a job that I have to wear natural colors everyday. But then again I homeschool and havent worked outside the home in 20 yrs.

That depends on the job interview.

Formal setting – I’m going with browns and beiges

Casual – I’ll take it up to some jewel tones

Fashion or artist interview…I’m going two notches below dramatic

Depends on the interview with me. If it’s an interview for a corporate or academic position, I keep it to a bare minimum (concealer + a little foundation to even out skin, mascara, Springsheen blush, and Brave lipstick + Boy Bait Cremesheen Glass). If it’s for a makeup artist position, a full-on face is necessary (eyeshadow + black liner, mascara, bold lipstick, blush plus evened out skin).

Something neutral, probably similar to what I wore today: Shroom as a highlighter, Style Snob on the lid, Satin Taupe for the outer vee, Haux in the crease with a thin line of Rich Ground f/l on the upper lid only. (Rich Ground is probably too warm for a lot of people but exactly matches my hair color and looks like a neutral on me) Polished face with foundation and setting powder, Perfect Cheek blush, and I’d opt for Syrup lipstick instead of the Pomposity I wore today.

For interviews, symposiums, etc, I usually wear a nice warm, natural look. Currently my favorite version of this is taupe on the lid, a dark brown in the crease along with a subtle peach/nude-y blush (like Laura Mercier Orange Blossom over Nectar blushes) and a soft pink lipstick that’s not too light or too dark.

Something neutral with light pink lips and matte skin (which i consider important for a “serious look” – no shimmer/highlighter). My latest favourite neutral look is Chanel Mystic Eyes Quad and Clarins Joli Rouge in Pink Sugar.

I never thought about this! I guess I just do a taupe on my lid and a light brown powder for liner and mascara. And blush over something like Benefit Dandelion, for sure, because I’m so pale – to make me look more awake and alive. And lots of powder, in case I break a sweat from nerves!

I keep it simple…usually Ricepaper, Woodwinked or Dreammaker eyeshadow, Teddy eyeliner, Blushbaby blush, and Sophiso lipstick. And of coudse foundation and concealer 🙂

It depends what kind of job, I guess. When I went for my job as a scientist, I wore minimal, neutral makeup. Just some concealer, powder, mascara, blush and lipbalm. But when I go for jobs as a makeup artist (my other vocation!) I go all out. Usually a smokey eye or a cat eyeliner flick.

On my last interview, I wore blanc type on the lid, copperplate in the crease, NARS orgasm blush, and NARS honolulu honey lipstick with NYX crystal soda gloss over it.

If I go on an interview I like to wear something fresh and young looking. I dont want to look too intimidating and to glamorous.
I would take a black eyepencil (macs smolder) and put that on my upper and lower lash line and smudge it out into a very faint cat eye. On the lid I would take a blending brush and use tempting and put a slight cast of shadow over the lid. A strong brow. Then for the cheeks I like X-rocks by Mac. I prefer a lipstick when on an interview and a hint of lipgloss over it. Something like Chintz and I have a Rimmel lipgloss that goes perfectly in color with that. I do not wear plain lipgloss by itself because it can draw too much attention with all the sparkles. Sultry but understated are the key. Your appearance on interview can make or break you, if you seem to glamorous and over the top it can be distracting.
