Do you use every product you own? Do you have brand new products you haven’t even touched laying around? Do you have several products you’ve used once or twice, but sit ignored otherwise?

We appreciate enthusiasm for new releases but ask readers to please hold questions regarding if/when a review will be posted as we can't commit to or guarantee product reviews. We don't want to set expectations and then disappoint readers as even products that are swatched don't always end up being reviewed due to time constraints and changes in priorities! I definitely dont use everything I own. I tend to stick to my favorites but I use some others when I go to do looks and want to use a lot of colors. That is one of my goals is to use everything I have more often so lately I have been rotating my blushes and bronzers more frequently.

I try…I can say I’ve used everything at least once, but I get distracted by the new products I buy. Right now I wear Spring Bean everyday but my most recent purchase is Electric Eel eyeshadow(LOVE)and I’ve only used it once and that was just to see how it would look on me.

I am so guilty of that, for eg, my Sephora blushes and eye shadow duo, my NARS multiple stick, etc, i have too much stuff to use, and i end up using the same few stuff everyday. but i try to rotate my blushers regularly.

I have A LOT of stuff…. so, unfortunately, no. I’m trying to mix things up more! I even have some items that have never been used!!!

There’s a lot of stuff I should use a whole lot more often, that’s for sure! I try, though. In fact when I go to buy more, that’s the main thing in my way- have I used what I have, or will what I’m getting help me use what I already have more? Otherwise it’s like buying yellow shoes with no outfit.

Oh yes. I´d need several faces to wear everything I own on a regular basis. 😉
For example my MSF´s sit around unused most of the time, but i still love them dearly!

I do use it all, but I also change my makeup at least twice a day (usually–work makeup and then after-work makeup) so I have a lot of opportunities to experiment. Some items I have used only 1 or 2 times, like my vampy lipsticks, and WHY did I convince myself I needed to own like 8 slightly different brown eye pencils? 😛

I use everything I own, with a few exceptions. One is older powder and concealer that I have found better replacements for. Another is stuff I got for going out (darker e/s, dramatic l/s) and since I go out rarely, it gets used rarely.

I also stock up on my HG mascara (MAC X) whenever I see it at CCO, and since I use a mascara for 3 months, I sometimes have unopened ones sitting around – I can’t pass up the chance to save 30% though!

I’ve used most things at least once, and that is because I tend to try out every new thing I buy the day or two after. But unfortunately I have some products that I’ve only used once or twice. I’m the same way with my clothes and even worse, I have a lot that I still haven’t worn!

I usually try out every product when I get it, but there are whole palettes I’ve never touched and many pigment vials and lipsticks I’ve never used. Most of the makeup I have has been used once or twice. I try to use a variety of products and to make ones I didn’t like initially work for me. The upside of having many different products to work with and using different ones often is that they rarely need replacing.

I can say I’ve tried everything at least once of the products I’ve purchased. However, I once got this super sample package from sephora from using a coupon code online, so I have a ton of really awesome products I have yet to try. 🙂 I like to give myself things to look forward to, so I space them out.

I have to confess – and I’m sure i’m not the only one, be honest ladies – that sometimes I’ll deliberately overuse a product to get it over with so I can buy something new I have my eye on.. lol. Maybe it’s because I’m trying to discipline myself and finish up what I have before I go for the next purchase, but it’s SO HARD! haha..

Sadly, I don’t. I have several lip glosses and eye shadows I have never used. Ditto for a couple of blushes – or maybe I did use them once or twice and don’t like the product enough to use it again. I don’t even remember! The reason I still have them is that I want to use them again and never had the chance yet. There’s still hope…..

I wear all of my MAC at some point or another. I don’t do much for makeup when I go to my glamourous new job of cleaning hotel rooms (it’d really be a waste, so I stick to concealer/mascara/liner), so it’s mostly just on my days off. It may take a while to cycle through everything I have, but I get there eventually. I’m such a colour junkie. 😀

I have two sets of makeup.
My good makeup, which is all Urban Decay, MAC, Smashbox, and a bunch of brands that I really can’t afford.
And then drug store makeup.
Y’know, that cakey foundation that you wore freshman year when you thought you looked hot with it.
And that old chalky eyeshadow and the eyeliner that doesn’t stay.
I don’t have the heart to throw it out.
But I haven’t touched the crap in years.
