I am with you on this one. The only eyelash glue I have ever used is Duo, and I’ve always stuck with it because I thought it was so good 🙂
Hehe… ‘stuck’ with it, eh? 😀
I have honestly never applied false eyelashes! Or had them applied to me, for that matter. I do always hear about Duo though.
In an effort to remain original: Selley’s wood glue is the best for glueing suede tips onto your pointe shoes! 😀
I might have latex sensitivity, but I haven’t found a latex-free glue that works well. My eyes are pretty sensitive as well, so I don’t wear false eyelashes much. If I do, it’s generally demis. I like individual lashes but I’ve sworn off the long-wearing individual false lash glue and their removers, they burn like mad.
Revlon Lash Adhesive is latex-free and some people would choose it over Duo anyway.
DUO’s got a brush-on lash adhesive that is latex free and lasts all day 🙂
I’ve only used Duo so far so it gets my vote by default lol. I’ve heard a lot of nice things about Revlon’s lash glue though. I need to try it soon
I just use the adhesive that comes with the lashes I buy, and they all seem equal… I also typically buy DS lashes, and haven’t found a need or desire to go HE.
I like Eylure’s Superfix Lash Adhesive. Affordable, easy to use, and it definitely gets the job done!
I only ever use duo. I like the dark one though, it melds well with my eyeliner. I’ll only use the white/clear if I have colorful liner on.
My thoughts exactly. Although, I can probably count on just one hand how many times I’ve used falsies.
As I have a latex sensitivity, Duo is not something I can use. I’ve been using La Charme. It’s not ideal.
I have only used Duo but I have been hearing good things about Revlon.
I do not wear false eyelashes that often, but when I do..Duo. I’ve tried House of Lashes latex free, but prefer Duo.
LOL im soo sorry but i use hair bonding glue! I know i know ur not supposed to, but i have really watery eyes and duo just doesnt do it for me. No need to let it sit and get tacky with the salon pro 30 sec hair glue. And it comes off ur lashes so clean. U can even use ur cheapies over and over again. 🙂
Revlon’s lash glue! I’ve tried Duo and while I do think it is amazing and holds all day, the Revlon lash glue just feels more secure. Also it tries a bit quicker and gets tackier faster, so I’m not waiting forever between putting the glue on the lash to putting it on my eye.
I was going to post, but you took the words right outta my mouth!
same !!! revlon is a million times easier to use than duo… plus is comes with a brush tip applicator so you always get the right amount of glue on !
My eyelashes already look fake, thank God. I won’t risk losing a lash with falsies.
I must be a little odd, I really don’t like the Duo lash glue, I have always preferred the glue that comes with the Japonesque lashes. Maybe for the applicator in the cap, I always wear unbanded lashes when I wear falsies so I want a super thin application, the little wand makes it easy. It wears like iron on my oily eyelids and I never feel it on.
I only use Revlon lash glue, it does not have a odor and the hold is wonderful. I’ve tried DUO and it is not my favorite. I wear lashes everyday.
DUO has been my staple for years. I have a tube of their latex free version that I need to open and try, yet.
I prefer Lash Grip to Duo (I think I got a bad tube)
I love mehron adhesive. It’s really stay put all day. Been using it for six month
Hands down the glue that comes with the illamasqua false lashes, it’s amazing! I wish they sold it individually. Otherwise, I love DUO the old favourite 🙂
I’ve use the drug store brands and the ones that come with the lashes but nothings compares to the DUO. It is my go to and I refuse to use any other kind. It last all night and removes very easily and clean. I hated when I had to pick glue out my eye lashes. I finally got my niece to switch over. I prefer the clear one, my niece loves the black one. She says it blends in more.
Every time I’ve tried to apply false eyelashes, I end up with my lids glued shut! I did have them applied at Sephora last year when I was going to a red carpet event and they looked fabulous. Just can’t attempt them myself.
Same as you, Christine. I feel like lashes are so high maintenance! I’ve only worn falsies once, but I do have a pair for a rainy day, and I have Duo as well.
I prefer Revlon lash glue, mainly because it has a brush applicator, which makes it easier to control how much glue you are using and you can just paint it along the false eyelash line.
My fave is Shu Uemura’s lash glue. I prefer it over Duo only cause I don’t have to wait for it to get tacky, I am just that impatient lol.
I developed an allergy to lash glue. Boo. So I use Fantabulash (which is like a tape). I don’t wear lashes often because I’m just not that comfortable applying them.
I really like the dollywink, it’s less runny than duo so it’s easier to clean up and tends to not run into my eyes like duo sometimes can. Alas, it’s hard to come by
i hav ebeen searching for an eye lash glue.. DUO looks good.. Will add this to my must have list!
Will keep an eye on the rest of the options as well.. 🙂
I have tried so many eyelash glues and I really like the brush-on ones that are a bit more prevalent in Asia, but DUO has one that is pretty good as well. My favorite brands besides the DUO one are D-UP Eyelash Fixer and Eyemazing Super Fit. The only thing with these brush-on adhesives is that after around 6 months or so the glue tends to get really goopy. You can still use it but it can make application a little messy and can be a little annoying.
