Have you ever tried Paul Mitchell’s Platinum Blonde Shampoo? I use it once a week and have been every shade from platinum to dirty blonde and it is the only thing that keeps the brass out. I lather, leave it in while I use my clarisonic (about 3 minutes) and wash it out. Its worked wonders!

Shu Umera had a white gel eyeliner. Goes on like a dream but i bought mine years ago at a department store and it’s still fabulous!! Hope this helps.

Last product that disappointed you? Milani Lip Intense Lip Colour in Violet Addict or whatever. I did a review on why but it’s just.. meh. Colour was off. Reminded me of Rimmel Apocalips or whatever and I don’t like those much either.

Most recent holy grail – Wet N Wild’s Fergie mattifying powder. Works better than the Nars or Urban Decay one. And only $5!! Oh, and those Too Faced Melted Lipsticks are pretty awesome too. I ordered three of them after your review the other day. Can’t wait.
Last disappointment – looks like its going to be MAC Sunset Beach… 🙁

Last beauty indulgence: The Tarte BB Tinted Moisturizer 12-hour Primer & Sunscreen felt like a beauty indulgence. $34 for 1 oz. Yikes! However, it’s difficult to find mineral sunscreens that are tinted enough for my skintone, and this is the closest thing to this I can find right now.
Last holy grail: NARS Satin Lip Pencil in Luxembourg
Last disappointment: L’Oreal True Match liquid foundation. I was hoping to save some $$ in the foundation dept, but I couldn’t find a color that matched quite as well as my MAC Mineralize…
Skin tone/colouring: NC50/ELDW Rich Caramel/Clinique Fresh Golden – warm deep with golden undertones.
Last beauty indulgence? Urban Decay’s Naked Definition Loose Finishing Powder in Naked Deep. IN LOVE.
Last holy grail you found? A few items: Jordana Blush in “Bronze” (ridiculously soft and so lovely for the teeny weeny price), Maybelline’s Color Elixir in Caviar Couture (long wearing and makes my lips feel so comfy), Revlon Pink Truffle Lip Butter (perfect MLBB) and L’Oreal Shocking Extensions Telescopic Mascara (on my third tube, makes my already long lashes touch my browbone!).
Last product that disappointed you? I rarely buy products without reading reviews but that being said, I bought a NYX Slide On Pencil in Golden Olive to use as an all over eye colour but the pigment just isn’t strong enough sadly to show up. I can only use it on my lower lash line for a little pop.

Last beauty indulgence? I went on a little pharmacy shopping spree last week. Individually the products weren’t *that* expensive but combined I spent quite a lot.
Last holy grail you found? A goldenbeige cream eyeshadow by a store brand (Marionnaud). It is just the perfect shade, the perfect texture, and amazing value for money. An unexpected HG discovery.
Last product that disappointed you? Let me think… I have to think back far for this, actually. I think it was the Garnier Miracle Blur. That one really disappointed me.

Last beauty indulgence? The Balm Mary Lou-Manizer & Cindy Lou-Manizer — I couldn’t resist these any longer. Turns out Cindy Lou is one of my new favorite products; ridiculously beautiful on the cheeks and eyes.
Last holy grail you found? Tarte Amazonian Clay Airbrush Foundation in Fair-Light Honey — Quick and easy to apply, makes my skin porcelain-smooth, and wears well throughout the day.
Last product that disappointed you? ELF Studio Concealer Pencil and Brush in Fair — Love the design and concept, but the concealer is waxy, dry, and horribly orange-toned. At least it was only $3.
Your skin tone/coloring: Fair, Cool w/pink undertones
Last beauty indulgence: I was very bad at the VIB sale: Hourglass Ambient Lighting Powder in Mood Light, Hourglass blush in Ethereal Glow, and a Lancome lipstick. And the new Stila liquid liner in Teal. And some mascara. Oops!
Last holy grail you found: Inglot 344 eye shadow as a contour. Weird, but it works for my fair pink face.
Last product that disappointed you: Maybelline limited edition purple gel eyeliner — it is identical to the one in the regular line!
Skin tone/coloring: NW13 with neutral tendencies (said the MAC makeup artist, ha.)
Beauty indulgence: Chanel Rouge Coco Shine lipstick in Rendez-vous
Last holy grail: Jouer lipstick in Meredith. A bright pink lipstick that’s almost like light fuchsia, if such a thing exists? A really unique color.
Product that disappointed: Urban Decay eye shadow in Scratch. It’s still nice enough and I wear it, but it’s pink-ier than I thought it was. It seemed more mauve (which is what I wanted) when I tried it on in Sephora.

Last Beauty Indulgence: A gorgeous set of acrylic drawers to house the stash.
Last Holy Grail: Essence brow pencil & Maybelline Lash Discovery.
Last Disappointment: Nyx Liquid liner. The product seems fine, but my liquid liner game leaves much to be desired!

Last beauty indulgence? either the Kat Von D Monarch palette or Alterna’s Caviar CC Cream for hair
Last holy grail you found? the aforementioned Alterna Caviar CC Cream for hair (and the SA tossed in 2 more trial sized tubes for me – how nice is THAT?)
Last product that disappointed you? Nars Radiant Creamy Concealer (now that I have a better match, it’s not so bad but still not great) or maybe IT Cosmetics Tightline Mascara in the waterproof formual – I cannot get that stuff off neatly.

Last beauty indulgence? UD Electric Palette, Tarina Tarantino sale at Hautelook.
Last holy grail you found? Tarina Tarantino Emerald Pretty palette.
Last product that disappointed you? Prob Benefit Rockateur. I have a love/hate relationship with it. The color is pretty and looks good on me, but I wanted the shimmer, it takes a lot of building to show up, and it was expensive for the amount you get. I didn’t return it but I won’t buy it again.

Last beauty indulgence? YSL Creme de Blush in Baby Doll.
Last holy grail you found? This may be a silly one. Coconut oil! I used it plenty, and loved it, for a night moisturizer and nail treatment. However, I just recently started using it on my hair and could not be more sold on the beauty uses now. My hair is the softest it has ever felt and the frizz is gone.
Last product that disappointed you? MAC Fleur d’Coral. It seemed quite cool on me. Not bad! Just not what I wished for.

Last product that disappointed you? An unnamed lipstick from Starlooks that I believe they sent out in March birthday boxes…I received it in a swap thinking it would be a nice dusty rosy pink but actually it looked like I rubbed a chocolate bar on my mouth. Yuck!

Last beauty indulgence: This week I placed an Ulta order with a lot of my basics and a few goodies… Not Your Mother’s shampoo and conditioner, my Aveeno face and body lotion, an Eco Tools powder brush, Jack Black grapefruit and ginger lip balm, and Pacifica Tuscan Blood Orange hand creme. 🙂 Should arrive Friday!
Last holy grail product I found: I searched far and wide for the right foundation and finally found one that blew me away. I know it’s no secret based all the great reviews, but MUFE Invisible Cover Foundation in 117 Marble has been perfect for me.
Last product that disappointed me: I liked it at first, but Tarte’s Amazonian Clay Blush in Blissful is starting to leave something to be desired. The formula is a little stiff, but still okay, and I like the color just fine. It’s the compact that I despise. It’s impossible to open without using my fingernails and never fails to ruin my nail polish. I’ve resorted to popping it open with a bobby pin…

Last product that disappointed you? Believe it or not, suddenly I’m not enthused by the performance or formulation of Hourglass Ambient Lighting Powders and Blush. HUGELY disappointed in Dior’s Abricot nail Creme. Positive note: RETURNS! $! 😀

Last beauty indulgence? – I bought a couple of products here and there but haven’t really *indulged* since the end of February, when I bought two NARS blushes (Torrid and a backup of Taj Mahal) and two Sephora lipstains (01 and 04).
Last holy grail you found? – It would have to be the Sleek Pout Paints. I absolutely love the formula. It is so comfortable and so opaque and long-lasting. I particularly love their peachy nude shade in Minx with a reddish brown lip gloss from Essence (called Choose Me) on top.
I’ve been loving soft matte lip cream type products as well, and would love to try the ones from Nyx (I’ve only tried those from Essence and Collection).
Last product that disappointed you? – The Sleek Matte Me lip cream. The shade Fandango Purple is so lovely (and supposedly a dupe for MAC Flat Out Fabulous) but the texture is just unwearable – so drying and flakey and just uncomfortable. I distrust all transfer-proof lip products for this reason.
Your skin tone/coloring: Light medium, warm yellow tones
Last beauty indulgence? Guerlain Cruel Gardenia travel set, duty free at Melbourne airport. There was NO question I was not buying it, even if my credit card was a smouldering wreck from a 4 day bachelorette trip already!

Last beauty indulgence? MUFE Mist & Fix – This stuff gives my face the most amazing natural glow while “setting” my makeup in tact all day long! I finish every look with this spray!
Last holy grail you found? LORAC Pro Palette – I’ve been on the hunt for the perfect neutral palette for approximately three years, and I finally found it in this palette! I literally love and use every color in the palette, and it serves all my eye make up needs from day to night. It’s the only eyeshadow I use now!

Last holy grail you found? Laura Mercier Silk Creme Foundation is my favorite foundation that I have ever used, but I’m never loyal to foundations, I know I’ll buy a new one once I finish it.
Last product that disappointed you? Givenchy Le Rouge in Rose Taffetas, so drying!!

Last beauty indulgence? Chanel cream blush in Presage, Vitalumière repurchase (B20), les beiges powder (B30), and requested to be sent the new Chanel velvet foundation (B20) since it was out of stock & I’m no where near a counter!
Last holy grail you found? Origins Vitazing Eye Cream, really fast absorbing, cool texture. Neutralizes under eye discolouration a bit. Best eye cream I’ve ever tried!
Last product that disappointed you? I haven’t technically received it yet, but the Proenza Schouler pink blush ombré! I mean… It’s already got an F from Christine. I’m not sure if I try it out for myself or sell!
Hey Meghan: How re you using your Chanel les beiges? I bought this on a whim and rather blindly and picked up B30 as well. I’m about MAC NC20-25 and I find this powder a lot darker than I expected…like a LOT darker. Doh!

Last product that disappointed you? tried a few of the Sleek Makeup palettes but they just weren’t that great to me…not very blendable and the colors were just disappointing overall (I’d add that as much as I love the urban decay original naked palette, I still get frustrated when I have to cover my under eye and cheeks to protect them from glitter fall out even after tapping my brush)

Last holy grail you found? The Clarin’s Gentle Foaming Cleanser and the Clarin’s Toning Lotion for Normal to Dry skin!
Last product that disappointed you? The Clarin’s Hand and Nail Treatment. It doesn’t really do anything besides make your hands feel a little greasy for a few minutes :/

Last product that disappointed you? Dior 5 shadow in Grege; I think my expectations were too high on this. The pigmentation was so-so once applied to the eye. I just didn’t like it.

Last product that disappointed you? i have a serious complex with sidecar in naked 1 by urban decay, and i’m disappointed weekly when i keep trying to wear it and end up shedding glitter down my cheeks and everywhere else (and then try to wear it again a few days later because it’s just so beautiful)

Last beauty indulgence: Bite Beauty Agave Lip Mask – bought it based on reviews on Sephora, earlier this year, after waffling a lot because $26 is a good chunk of money. Really glad I did! I no longer have to worry about my skin drying out over night or having those little pieces of dry skin appear suddenly on my lower lip. For someone who loves lipstick as much as I do, this is a must.
Last holy grail: Laura Mercier Matte Radiance Baked Powder in Highlight 01. I don’t like liquid highlighters and this powder highlighter has the perfect amount of subtle shimmer. It’s also extremely easy to apply, and I’m a big fan of sleeping in as long as I can on a work day, so I live for a quick go-to make up routine.
Last disappointment: NARS Orgasm Blush. It feels like this is the entire world’s HG product but I don’t love the chunks of glitter.

Last beauty indulgence — Clarins Lotus Face Treatment Oil
Last holy grail you found? — Estée Lauder Double Wear Stay-in-Place Liquid Foundation, especially when I found out I can put in on sheerer for this infernal heat, and not just gloop it on.
Last product that disappointed you? — I’ve been buying a lot of duds from The Body Shop lately—their “universal” highlighter, their Vitamin C Skin Boost Serum, their Tea Tree Pore Minimiser, their eye creams that don’t do much. So, basically: The Body Shop has disappointed me, haha.

I have pink undertones, my last indulgence was Vichy setting powder, my holy grail at the moment is Mac bbrush cleanser as i’m always putting off cleaning them but this makes it so easy and my last disappointment was Lush no drought dry shampoo which made my roots feel sticky and didnt soak up any oil.
