Sneak Peek: NARS Contour Blush Photos & Swatches
NARS Gienah Contour Blush
Just launched, NARS Contour Blush ($42.00 for 0.28 oz.) is a new formula available in three shades, with each shade actually being a duo of colors. One color is designed to highlight (left side), and the other to contour (right side). I’ll have reviews for you soon, so please hold your questions until I’ve posted my thoughts 🙂 Thank you!

Wow! Both Olympia and Paloma look quite light! I’m interested in seeing your review for these…
Nice! I think this can be used as a neutral everyday eyeshadow also!
I can’t wait for your review on that!
I was looking forward to these, but for now I’ll just stick to NARS Zen blush, which is more neutral than any of these appear. Of course I plan to try these in-store, but I won’t get my hopes up.
In the swatches, these appear much lighter than I expected and I’m loving the fact they do not seem to pull orange!!! I like them all, but think olympia and paloma would work best for me.
Is it sad that this launch is possibly the most exciting thing to happen to me this month? haha
I’m really excited to see what shade will work best for fair skin! I’m not liking the contour shade on Olympia, I’m thinking Paloma will be the best for me.. Yay! Excited for the review!
Given that I’m so fair, Olympia actually looks like it’d make a nice neutral blush on me. It looks like it has quite a bit of pink it. 🙂
Olympia doesn’t look like much of anything in the pan, but after seeing it swatched, I’m thinking it just might be right for pale skin…
Olympia looks great! I can’t wait to see it in person.
I like the idea but the contour cookouts all look so dark for a pale girl like me. Can’t wait to read your review and see pics of how it looks when applied :-).
I think I need Olympia! Because I’m so pale I have the worst time finding a contour shade that either isn’t too muddy or makes me look too corpse-y.
Not usually into contouring, but I’m actually quite interested in these! I like that there is a paler option.
How nice is it that they actually made one for at least somewhat dark skin tones!
Thanks for posting. Gienah is so pretty. I’m going to have to check that out at Sephora!
I was seriously just looking for a matte highlighting powder for contouring on Saturday. I love the concept of this. Will hold out for your review, Christine. AWESOME!
I think Paloma will look best on my skin; I’ve had such a hit/miss experience with most NARS products though so I think I might wait until I read some reviews before splurging on it!
Love Paloma and Olympia!!! Can’t wait to see a full review!
Olimpia contour is SO pink. O_o That would clash so badly on any fair skin except the models with a strong pink undertone. The Paloma look to be more neutral though.
oh, I really really dig these. dammit, looks like I’m taking a trip to sephora to play with them!
Just ordered Paloma after seeing it on Karen on MBB. I hope to see it on you too, Christine, since I am between yo and Karen in skin tones :).
I can’t wait to hear more. They’re looking a bit warm toned for contouring. I usually go cooler.
Olympia and Paloma look like they might work for me as contours (because they’re not so dark or orange but more “natural shadow” looking) and the highlight shades look good too but, to be honest, contouring is such a now and then sort of thing for me and I’ve got more than enough products (including Omega eye shadow, which is wonderful) that I really don’t need any more. Not that this ever stopped me once I’ve fallen in love with something….
Olympia looks light enough, but given the undertone, I have concerns that it would still pull a tad too warm for us NW10/15 types. Be interested to see any of these would work well for an NW20/25 skintone, though. It might work for my sister’s wedding makeup. 🙂
I can’t wait for these to hit Sephora! I really need to check out Gienah. I hope it works for me
I’m looking forward to hearing your thoughts on these! I’m obsessed with contouring, and I find this convenient packaging!! <3
Was really looking forward to Olympia. I like the way it looks but not what I had in mind when I thought of contour. I know they did say in the promo release that the shade is rose but this could be used as blush on me. I don’t really see it as contour. Was hoping for something more… neutral. 🙁
I’m intrigued! But not by the price, haha.
Is it just me or does the contour for olympia look very pink?
My money’s going to Paloma but I may have to try Olympia too just to see how light it looks on me. Thanks for the sneak peek! 🙂
Ohhh Paloma.. want.
I’m actually in the market for a bronzer/highlighter duo. This looks promising!
Olympia is begging to be swatched instore! I’m hopeful that it will be light/soft enough for this vampire to try contouring!
I’m surprised that so far no one mentioned how much this looks like the Sleek contouring palettes!
