I use my fingers then blend the streakiness with a kabuki. I also don’t use liquid foundation very much and use a powder buffed in with a kabuki, or tinted moisturizer.
Definitely with the MAC 109 brush, it’s the best brush for foundation as it blends it so flawlessly and quickly.
I use a kabuki for applying my powder foundation and a skunk brush and/or sponge for liquid foundation.
i ‘paint’ with my foundation brush followed by stippling with 109 to make streaks disappear c:
I use a kabuki seeing as i use mineral foundation. When i use liquid i use 109 with MAC fix + or 190 🙂
I use my 182 kabuki, I know it sounds cray but it gives the best flawless result I ever had. I just dot the foundation on my face and then buff with the brush. If I need more coverage somewhere, I’ll just dot again some more product and buff. Done in 30 secs!
Me too!
I hardly wear foundation since I don’t make the time to do all the steps. Typically I use my hands so I don’t have to clean a brush though sometimes i use my ecotools foundation brush.
I use the sephora platinum airbrush #55 to stipple on and buff out my make up forever HD foundation. best foundation brush thus far, even, smooth coverage, works greatttttt with mufe HD foundation.
Isn’t that a fabulous brush?? I love using it when I do other ppl’s makeup!
I use my Charm duo fibre brush for stippling to give me that air brushed look =)
I just use a stippling brush and buff it all over my face, press on some finishing powder and blush and i’m good to go!
I use the EcoTools baby kabuki with my EDM semi-matte foundation.
First use a 190 to plunk on the liquid foundation, then I use a MAC 182 or 181SE spritzed with Fix+ to blend out.
For liquid foundation I use the 131, spray with Fix+, and swirl.
For powder I use the 109. Spray Fix+ on face, then swirl the powder with the 109.
I use my 109 brush spritz my face with Fix + and a little on the brush and I’m ready to work some magic lol.
My sonia kashuck blender sponge though i have been meaning to try a 187 for the airbrosh effect though I am skeptical…eeek!
I was using the Sephora #55 airbrush to apply my liquid foundation but I recently purchased the 109 brush and I love it. I’ll have to try it wet like you do.
Sponge and brush me no likey. They absorb more product than they put on. That is such a waste. So I use my hands. But I keep hand sanitizer on my vanity dresser. LOL
I use a kabuki with my pressed mineral foundation. Quick and painless! 😉
I use the Sonia Kashuk Flat Blender Blush Brush and it works amazing! It’s soooo soft and it blends my foundation flawlessly.
i use the 190 to paint the foundation in triangles on my forehead and cheeks and a line in my lip chin and nose and blend it w/ da sk blender sponge. somewhere in there i use my fix plus.
When I first started wearing foundation, I use a traditional foundation by Benefit but I rarely use that brush anymore. Nowadays, I use a stippling brush or a kabuki brush. For powder foundation, I use a blush/face brush.
Just my fingers.
I use the 190 to paint on my SFF, then spray my 187 with fix+ or water and blend!
I have a Mac 190 brush but I don’t really use anymore, I also have a 187 dupe brush but I use it on others and for powder/blush/bronzer, so lately I have been using my fingers and its the best application for me so far.
i use my fingers. i tried using brushes but i always feel like it takes forever and i don’t reach all the areas i need. i use a kabuki afterwards to blend out.
I use my Giorgio Armani foundation brush to apply my liquid foundation, then I use my Mac 150 to apply my MSF natural powder.
I love my beauty blender!
I first apply my mac prep and prime, and then I set it with the transparent finishing powder with a very loose face brush. I then apply my foundation with a stiff full buffer brush, and set it using prep and prime transparent finishing powder with the loose fash brush. I then spray my brush with fix + and stipple that on my foundation. I literally do not have to touch up my makeup for 8 hours.
I just use my MAC 187.. Gives me a perfect finish with GA: Face Fabric all the time.
First I apply Urban Decay’s Pore Perfecting Primer Potion.
(Try saying that five times fast.) I stipple on Studio Fix Fluid with a MAC 187, and blend with a foundation brush. Then I use a sponge to smooth and finally puff on a translucent powder to set.
I use cotton balls.
