Wow what a surprise, another collections that is all warm!

(Then again it’s Bobbi Brown, she almost never does anything cooler toned and even then the added yellow she puts in everything means it never works properly. I’ve given up buying anything because I know I’ll be disappointed 🙁 )

Well it makes is easier on my pocket at least.

While I welcome the return of coral to the spring trends, honesty, Ive become quite bored with BB offerings. Another season, another shimmer brick, and another palette containing mostly the same old shades. Also, I think that their celebrity spokesmodel campaign wasn’t quite successful.

sadly, I agree here ; I’ve been a loyal fan since she started her line, but the past year or two seems so repetitive – nothing really different or new, or interesting – and I have started to pass on collections; I feel disloyal, which is weird, and i hope her marketing team gets the message soon and kicks some variety into this line

Is it just me or does there seem to be numerous cream blushes coming out for spring? I love them…but feel overwhelmed by the choices. So I bought the Balm’s palette during their sale…seemed the easiest way to try something new cost effectively.
I used to by a lot of Bobbi Brown but haven’t quite bitten in years. Christine, will you review this collection? Seems a lot like past ones from Bobbi Brown just a little more (and lighter) pink. Probably not for me…

Can’t wait to see the review on this shimmer brick. I have never owned one, but keep hearing they are a must have. If I were to have one, it would be in the coral range.

Ordered the eye palette from the website and it is supposed to arrive today! So excited since I am all about simple eye look with a little of sparkles!

The Dutch release information for this collection seems to indicate a return of the limited edition Apricot shimmer brick, rather than the permanent Nectar. The close up picture you have listed seems different from the one in the overview as well. I’ve got my fingers crossed for Apricot – though it’s not on the US site. Perhaps they’re doing something slightly different in Europe? Wouldn’t be the first time!

The eyeshadow palette sure looks like something we have seen from BB not once, but many times in the past. I find BB products too pricey and honestly, if I wanted a basic nude eyeshadow palette I would look for another less expensive option, knowing that historically, BB’s palettes include quite a few misses. As for the rest of this collection, my heart just does not flutter 🙁

I’m a die hard Bobbi Brown fan and I’m noticing that her last few LE collections have been repromotes. The shimmer brick nectar….repromote along with the eye palette and lippies. I’m so bummed out as I already own both the eye colors and nectar shimmer brick. The eye shadow palette will work with cooler shades for those that were concerned….I did a makeover on my MIL who is super fair and her eyes came out absolutely beautiful. And for those with deeper skintones ( I’m nc45 for reference) the eye palette shades translate as a nice understated look and the shimmer brick in nectar makes for an awesome highlighter or topped over a matte peachy blush.

The shimmer brick in the bottom picture by itself is definitely not Nectar (looks like Apricot maybe) however it looks right in the top round-up picture. Nectar shimmer brick has been released before (I don’t think it was available in the permanent range recently but I could be wrong). I own the previous iteration and it’s a solid version of the shimmer brick, more pigmented than most other shades so mostly wearable as a blush.

Definitely scooping up the pot rouge & the nail polish. Bobbi Brown eye palettes, on the other hand, never fail to disappoint me. They’re abysmal. So that I’ll be avoiding like the plague. Not a fan of her shimmer bricks, either. And this one isn’t limited edition anyways.

These spring collections have already set me back close to 4 figures, so I have a feeling that this year’s makeup purchases are going to add up to quite a bit. We haven’t even hit the summer collections yet!

I have nothing against Bobbi Brown and love some of the products she has to offer but that palette looks like the “Rich Chocolate” Palette in new packaging. Pictures can be deceiving though!

I don’t feel the Nectar & Nude palette is too warm. I’m fair skinned, cool toned with a pink undertone, blue eyes & I have it on now and I like it.
