Buxom full bodied and Marvelous Moxie Lipsticks…I would say Nyx but they seem to be more “slippery” than hydrating.

I have extraordinarily dry lips and the one shade I’ve tried (Naked) has worked wonderfully for me! It’s truly been hydrating.
I agree with this. I’ve tried a TON of lipsticks and sensitive to most but I can safely say this is THE most comfortable to wear.
i just got two of the Guerlain Rouge Gs and they’re insanely moisturizing! Never knew that a lippy could be that comfy on the lips, it’s addictive 😀

Dior Rouge Serum, definitely!
I don’t have major issues with dryness, nor do I actively seek out “hydrating” products, but I do find myself going back to the same 2 brands, and have been for over 25 years: L’Oréal Maybelline. No matter what particular “formula”, they just feel the most comfortable on my lips.
If I feel dryness coming on, I just go with a lip balm until it passes… There’s no worse look than lips that are chapped covered in pigment, no matter how “moisturizing” the lipstick.
Nice question for the winter! I personally love Bobbi Brown Creamy Lip Color, am always in awe with Givenchy Rouge Interdit Satin Finish Lipstick, and I’ve not really yet found others that are so soothing and well behaving, let alone gorgeous!
I find the shiseido perfect rouges to be really hydrating, but a lot of the stores I frequent are pulling them off the shelves, and some shades I really like are discontinued. 🙁
Bloom sheer lipsticks, Revlon lip butters and Chanel Rouge Coco. If I can include glosses, I discovered yesterday that a gloss I was given to try by Medusa’s Makeup was so hydrating, when it came off my lips felt like I’d been using super-nourishing lip balm all day. I was gobsmacked!
Oh how I need this list right now! My lips are in constant need of moisture and almost every lipstick out there ends up making them feel more dry and uncomfortable. My lips are extremely sensitive to sunscreen and virtually every lipstick on the market contains some degree of titanium dioxide or other sunscreen. So, I’m going to list the lipsticks that are the least drying for me.

I’ve definitely noticed that titanium dioxide dries out my face, even with the super rich Creme de la Mer. 🙁

I find the MAC mineralize lipsticks really hydrating without being slippery

The only formula that I’ve ever felt were hydrating (and not just non-drying) is the old discontinued Urban Decay lipstick formula. YSL Rouge Volupte Shines are decent. Same with Cle de Peau Enriched Lip Luminizers.

I haven’t tried the others, but it always surprises me how hydrating Givenchy Le Rouge is given the semi matte texture. Clinique Chubby Stick Intense I really like for hydration too, though I hope they add more shades, I’ve yet to find one I’m really in love with.
Chanel hydrabase. Lipstick. Hydrating and long lasting. Some other brands like ysl is also hydrating but very slippery. After some time it is around your lips.
Buxom Full-Bodied Lipstick! They’re my perfect formula: hydrating, color, shine, and longevity in one. These lipsticks are awesome!

I’ll be following this thread with great interest, since my lips are extremely dry and I’m always looking for lipsticks that won’t exacerbate the problem! The most hydrating formulas for me are NARS Sheer Lipstick, Maybelline Vivids, Revlon Super Lustrous, and Urban Decay Revolution Lipstick.
Revlon Lip Butters, Josie Maran lipsticks, Dr. Haushka lipsticks, Lipstick Queen Medieval, and Burt Bees Shimmering Lip Balm (most shades offer lipstick level coverage). Korres lipsticks weren’t bad either!

Too Faced La Creme Lipsticks! So creamy and forgiving on lips that are a bit chapped. They really are one of the only formulas I’ve tried where my lips are in good shape after wearing lipstick all day.
rouge d’armani…sometimes i don’t have lip balm in my purse, and will put on one of my “nude” colors if my lips are feeling dry.
So far the Urban Decay Revolution and Milani Color Statement lipsticks have been pretty moisturizing for me. I’ve only tried a few shades but so far so good

MAC Cremesheen is as smooth as butter. It is perfect for my dry lips.
I love Clinique Butter Shine Lipsticks; they´re moisturizing, conmfortable to wear, moderately glossy and are available in very wearable colors 🙂

YSL Rouge Volupte Shine, Suqqu Creamy Glow Moist and Bobbi Brown Rich Lip Color! Those three make my lips feel softer after they have worn off. I looove Givenchy Le Rouge but I don’t feel it’s particularly moisturizing for me.

I’ve never come across a truly “hydrating” formula, but the ones I’ve found wear best without having to frequently balm-up are Smashbox Be Legendary and Dior Addict. I’ve got Guerlain’s Gigolo sitting in my inventory, but I haven’t worn it yet to speak for the formula. 🙂

Haha, well, it’s my first Rouge G, so I need a few weeks of staring at its pristine beauty before I wear it, y’know? 😉 The moment I finally swatch it on, I know it’s not going to come out of my purse for at least a week!
Well, gotta say so far, the YSL lipsticks are pretty good while the Guerlain rouge g’s just pip it to the post. Based on the rave reviews I’ve seen here I’ve just ordered the Givenchy le rouge lipstick in rose dressing so am waiting with baited breath to see if this will be my 3rd favourite..
Love those Fresh tinted lip balms. I also really like the Clinique Chubby Sticks.
I love the Revlon balm stains. Even the new matte ones are great at keeping the lips soft.
Sonia Kashuk Satin Luxe Lip Color (SPF 16) in Nude Pink is so hydrating. I love the texture and feel of it on my lips. Plus, it actually has broad spectrum SPF.

The most hydrating lipstick I’m using currently would be Lipstick Queen Jean Queen. I think the Guerlain Kiss Kiss Lipstick I once owned was hydrating – it was a peach-pink shade, I finished two entire tubes of it!
Clinique Butter Shine feels wonderful on my lips. The color selection leaves something to be desired but the formula is so comfortable.
