I’m an NW15, i have raven coloured hair (so, very very dark brown) and light blue eyes. I love using MAC powerpoint in Permaplum to make my eyes pop. Must be something about it, since i always get compliments when wearing it 🙂 I love using a little flush of MAC Tippy Blush on the cheeks, to add some colour to my pale complexion. And Dior Addict in Beige Dessous is my HG nude lipstick, topped with TLC in Fuschia Fix to get that sexy, rosy pout.

I’m a NC50, with dark brown eyes, and black hair. Loreal Voluminous Carbon Black is my HG mascara. My HG eyeshadow is Urban Decay’s Honey. It is the perfect gold, because it doesn’t look ashy against my skin tone. Another gold I love is Mac’s Melon pigment. My HG red lipstick is Mac’s Ruby Woo. Any red with a strong blue undertone always looks great on me. My HG blush is Nars Exhibit A. I wear it when I wear Ruby Woo. I know there are supposed to be rules about wearing red blush with red lipstick, but if you blend out Exhibit when wearing Ruby Woo, they don’t clash at all. I still don’t have an HG lipgloss/lipglass, so I can’t wait to see what everyone else writes. Also, at the moment I don’t wear neutral lipsticks or lipglosses, because they always look ashy on me. I guess I have to keep searching.
I have no idea about my skintone, but I’m fair to medium skinned, with dark brown hair and dark brown eyes. My HG products are Mac MSFN in Medium, Guerlain Le 2 mascara in black, Urban Decay 24/7 eyeliner in Zero and Mac brow set in Show Off. I don’t really have a HG blush, eyeshadows or lipsticks/lipglosses as I have many and like varying them, but I guess Stereo Rose MSF as blush and Pleasureflush MSF as highlighter are pretty hard to beat, and I really like Avon’s 24K Gold lipstick in Natural Gold which is a gorgeous nude pink shade.

My #1 HG item: Clinique Pore Minimizer Instant Perfector. It’s just $17.50. It leaves my skin with a matte finish but, my natural skintone. I use a very small amount for my forehead and chin. It’s silky and lightweight and, most importantly, can survive disgustingly hot and humid NJ shore summers. Doesn’t even need a powder over it.

Shadow: I use mostly MAC shadowws but, if I’m in a rush – Smashbox Waterproof Shadowliners. I have a range of colors. I can use them as a base to powder shadows or use them my themselves for opaque coverage.
The one tool that I’ve pushed on all my friends and my mom: the throw-away mascara wand from Sephora. In a rush, I can use these wands instead of an eyelash curler (apply mascara, wait a few seconds, then gently push up on the lashes with the throwaway wand) and can seperate lashes jammed together when I screw up my mascara. I ALWAYS make sure I have a wand with me when I go away.

Still trying to find my HG concealer most desperately. I mostly use Studio Finish right now but it’s not quite perfect, too dry, not long-lasting. I have wrinkles/fine lines under my eyes (I’m only 23! UGH) and very dark pigmentation (not from puffiness or lack of sleep) due to my Middle Eastern genes. Also playing around with foundations a lot lately but still not sure it’s something I want to use a lot…
Hm… maybe you can try the Makeup Forever Lift Concealer, which is what I use (and love~!) or try their Full Cover Concealer? 🙂

Try maybelline mineral powder concealer for under eyes. I found the same problem with fine line under the eyes and gently patting this under the eyes did a very good job of brightening without making me look wrinkly.
