Haul: I didn’t buy anything, but I was WAY spoilt for Christmas! I got Givenchy Violine Précieux and Chanel Taboo from my beloved sis (I’m wearing both right now, and I LOVE them. I can’t stop staring at the prettiness on my nails), Chanel Bronze Ligne Graphique (the eyeliner from the Christmas collection) from my dad, and Chanel Accent and Guerlain Crazy Météorites, amongst other things! I feel so lucky.
Weekend plans: I’d like to get back on tracks for my work, I have so much to do over the holidays.
Favorite pizza toppings?: Mozzarella, goat cheese, blue cheese, and some more cheese. I really like cheese (not just on pizza! :)).

Haul: MAC Talk of the Town and a few of the Maybelline Vivids and Color Whispers, which were on sale. And, though it isn’t beauty related, I finally, finally managed to find a cookbook I’d wanted for ages at a cheap price, so lots of Vietnamese food in my future.
Weekend Plans: Nothing much, everyone’s away over Christmas (except everyone in my immediate family, and we’re all starting to drive each other nuts).
Pizza topping: It’s a bit of a cheat, but I love the Turkish pizza we get near where I live, they have one with spicy lamb mince and lemon juice I particularly like (though given New Year’s is nearly here I imagine my permanent wish to drop a few kgs will put this off the menu for a while…sigh).

Haul: Nothing!! Saving up for sales!
Weekend plans: Saturday morning go running, afternoon groceries shopping and then just relax!! Christmas with a 5 year -over-exciter- old- boy tends to take the life out of you

Weekend plans… I wanted to go to Charlotte to get matched at MAC for Face & Body, and go to H&M since we finally have one of those. My dad is a trucker though, one that leaves for days at a time, so I’m not sure when he’ll be back. Hopefully, we can just go on a day that isn’t Sunday since I’ll probably be spending a LOT of time at H&M so I don’t want to go when the mall closes at 6 lol

My great uncle was a trucker! He retired long ago, but even in his 80s he was still doing drives from FL to WI in long stretches (to visit my grandmother). I can’t imagine what it takes to do that job, major kudos to your Dad! 🙂 Hope he returns soon!
Haul: Too much from MAC. Show Orchid, Velvet Teddy, By Design were the permanents. Superb, Morning Rose, Autoerotique, Carnal Instinct, Oh My Darling, Steel Kiss, Instigator, Punk Couture, Studded Kiss and Dark Outsider from the collections. Chance that I went overboard is pretty high.
Weekend plans: Get some writing done and start sorting through my children’s toy basket. It may be time to buy new storage and give them each their own.

Haul: Zip, nada, nothing….I’ve been so busy this week preparing for Xmas (house-guests, 22 for Xmas dinner, moving furniture to make room for the 22 for Xmas dinner so we can all sit at one looooong table (which MIL just loves) so no shopping for me
Weekend plans: resting up, making a dint in the marking I bought home and maybe hitting the mall for some “self-spoiling” (which I think I deserve after making Xmas dinner for DH’s 22 nearest and dearest). I might also pick up some serving pieces and such for next year’s Xmas dinner.
Favourite pizza toppings – stuff like roasted vegetables and feta (usually a “Greek” or “Mediterranean” type ordering option)
How was the dinner in the end? I thought of you over the holidays having to prepare for 22 people!!
It was great. I’m getting a bit better at it every year (I’ve learned to roast and dissect the turkey a day ahead and then reheat it with lettuce leaves on top – you’d never know it was reheated turkey). All my sisters in law pitch in too, which is a huge help. We always have a great time and the fact that no one seemed to want to leave was an indicator that everyone had fun. Next year, though, I’ve convinced my husband that we’re doing paper plates. We just can’t get that many plates into the dish washer and while he didn’t think it was such a hassle, he was off gabbing with his brothers and brothers in law and was oblivious to what a pain it was.

I heartily endorse paper plates for big parties! When we hosted brunch the day after wedding (about 20 or so people, all related in some way), we did paper plates, and it made life SO much easier when it came to cleaning up.

The closest dupe I have is NARS Madere, which is just a touch darker(!) and cooler. So if you liked Madere but didn’t like the matte formula, here’s a good alternative.
Weekend Plans: Night shifts! I’m also going out with my mother this Saturday to help her pick out a new cosmetics.

I have not hauled anything this week because it was Christmas and I am already saving my money for next holiday season. But, my wonderful Husband got me a ton of Sugarpill! Every good thing I heard about this line is true. The pigmentation… Yum! I now have Goldilux, Lumi, Bulletproof, Heartbreaker pallet, Flaming Heart Pallet and Burning Hear Pallet. My mother in law got me Ocho Loco 2 (which I picked out) so I do have new things to play with!
My plans for this weekend include work and memorial service for my husband’s grandfather.
My favorite pizza toppings are legion. My husband built a stone pizza oven in our back yard, so he makes perfect pies. My ultimate favorite combination is Teeze (a type of vegan cheese), basil, and my husband’s amazing house created sauce. I am lucky to be married to a professional chef that buys me makeup and cooks for me. :>

Haul: I picked up another Revlon highlighter, Rose Glow, 3 of the new Maybelline Master Hi-Lighter blushes(Nude, Light Bronze, & Mauve-which-on me-actually looks like a less intense NARS Oasis), and 4 L’Oréal eyeshadow singles in Shroom Shimmer, Sandy Shores, Smooth Latte, & Satin Tutu. I may have picked up a few other things, but I really can’t remember, LOL!
The Maybelline blushes are *awesome*! I think Nude may be the closest thing I’ve found to HG highlighting blush status; I have to try it outdoors, but in my apartment, it’s perfect!
Plans: I’m not sure yet… I *want* to hit a mall, and do a bit of shopping, but I don’t want to deal with the crowds…
Pizza Topping: I love thin crust pizza, from “hole-in-the-wall” places, with only cheese.
I will have to look out for the Maybelline blushes! Why all the new stuff takes years to get here… ugh!
Seriously! I’m in Los Angeles, and we never got the L’Oréal Summer collection. I stalked *every* DS chain, in at *least* 5 surrounding cities, as well as Target & ULTA, to no avail… I’m seriously considering ebay for 2 of the Infallibles.
As for the new Maybelline line, I’ve caught them at 2 different Rite-Aid stores. They are really nice, and have an almost “creamy” texture, very similar to Kevin Aucoin Candlelight. I haven’t swatched side-by-side, but I think the Nude may actually be a near dupe for Candlelight, just a tad warmer/deeper. The pigmentation is very intense, as well.
I live in the middle of nowhere and still, something will show up and I check every week or so, and if and when a new display arrives, I swear it’s empty in two days!! Where are all these makeup fiends hiding?? I never see them, LOL!
Haul: Mehron Paradise palette in Pastel and setting powder (Xmas gifts from the hubs), Butter London Lippy in The Old Bill, Nails Inc. polishes in Chelsea Square, Porchester Square, and Kensington Caviar Gel Effect Plumping Topcoat, and Sephora by OPI Trend Tips in Cheetah Sparkle and Snake Sparkle.
Plans: Help my baby walk. He wants to badly and he’s using everything and everyone to stand up. He stands, lets go, wobbles in place a few seconds, then plops on his diapered butt. Cute, but I’m frightened because my nerves still haven’t healed and I won’t be able to run after him.
Toppings: Ricotta and ham or Canadian Bacon and jalapeño. Also, the vegetarian pizza at my local hospital, eggplant, artichoke, tomato, mushroom, onion, bell pepper, and I forget what else. Willing to go to the ER for a paper cut if it means getting a slice.

Fried eggs in burgers are awesome, I agree… now I kind of want to make a breakfast pizza with bacon, egg and chopped up bits of crispy hash browns, maybe some spring onion on there as well, topped off with a squirt of hollandaise sauce when it comes out of the oven.

I love it too-one of my favorites!-I can’t cook it at home either. I think it’s all of the ingredients -so nicely blended- that gives Indian food its complexity in taste.

Weekend plans: Birthday in Vegas. To anyone else, that would be exciting, but none of my friends are out there. Just me and my parents and no money to shop or drink or get tattooed with. I’ll have to figure out what to do with myself.
Favorite Pizza Toppings: Bacon/Tomato combo or Spinach/Feta/Garlic combo.

Haul: Conair Curl Secret, a few new Physicians Formula things, Revlon Plumalicious, Crave, and Cherries in the Snow lipsticks, and a new NYX palette.

Favorite pizza toppings? Pepperoni, tomatoes, black olives…Sammy’s used to have an awesome gorgonzola and artichoke pizza, and the other day I had my first tarte flambee (from Trader Joe’s) – white sauce, ham, and carmelized onions. Oh, and can’t forget Hawaiian – pineapple and ham! Can you tell I really like pizza?

Really good! Trader Joe’s frozen pizzas are all very good and easy – 10 minutes in the oven, that’s it.

My guess is that it is easier to dupe and/or MAC made a lot more of them.
Haul: I indulged in the LUSH sale the day after Christmas thanks to a load of giftcards from my boyfriends family. I love that I bathed in lemon cheesecake and washed myself with bubblegum today, I already can’t wait for my next bath!
Weekend Plans: We spent yesterday cleaning the house for guests this week and today is RELAXING!!! catching up on our TV shows and YouTube videos, drinking coffee, baths, books…
Favorite Pizza Toppings: typically just veggies but our local pizza place does a pepperoni, pepperoncini, capers, and kalamata olives pizza that is to DIE for.
