Drama Queen (crease)
Makeup Geek Homecoming Eyeshadow ($5.99 for 0.064 oz.) is described as a “medium brown with gold shimmer.” It’s a softened, medium-dark brown with warm, red undertones and a champagne sheen. The color payoff was very nice, and the consistency was soft, blendable, and buttery. It wore well for eight full hours. Bobbi Brown Bronze (LE, $28.00) is a cream product. Too Faced Hazelnut (P) is very similar. Laura Mercier Bamboo (P) is less warm-toned. Urban Decay Radar (LE, $18.00) is more metallic. Edward Bess Cosmic Bliss #4 (P, $30.00) is more golden, less red-toned. MAC Romantico (LE, $15.00) is similar. Urban Decay YDK (LE, $18.00) is lighter, more metallic. MAC Mulch (P, $15.00) is warmer, redder. See comparison swatches.
Latte Eyeshadow ($5.99 for 0.064 oz.) is described as a “matte medium brown.” It’s a medium-dark, warm-toned brown with yellow-red undertones and a matte finish. It had fairly good pigmentation, though it’s very soft so it can sheer out a bit. If applied over a base, there shouldn’t be any issues with it. It wore well for seven and a half hours on me with light fading apparent by the eighth hour. Makeup Geek Frappe (P, $5.99) is slightly lighter and has a satin finish. Laura Mercier Truffle (P) is darker. theBalm C4 (LE, $16.00) is shimmery, redder. Wet ‘n’ Wild To Muse and Carouse #2 (LE) is similar. Urban Decay Beware (LE, $18.00) is slightly more orange-toned. MAC Soft Brown (P, $15.00) is similar–a little redder in tone. Inglot #337 (P, $6.00) is similar. See comparison swatches.
Mango Tango Eyeshadow ($5.99 for 0.064 oz.) is described as a “peachy pink with flecks of gold.” It’s an orange-coral with a subtle gold shimmer that gives it a satin finish. It had excellent color payoff, and the texture was soft–a smidgen powdery–and blendable. When I tested it, the color lasted for eight and a half hours before starting to fade. MAC Daydreaming (LE, $15.00) is more shimmery. Guerlain Les Fauves #3 (LE) is similar. Guerlain Coup de Foudre #2 (LE) is lighter. bareMinerals Smash Hit (LE) is lighter, more matte. Inglot #361 (P, $6.00) is lighter, more matte. See comparison swatches.

Homecoming is so beautiful, such a versatile, lovely shade
Agreed!
U have such pretty eyes! I can see myself using latte and homecoming quite a bit!
Aw, thanks Lisha! 🙂
Latte looks like a really useful shade to have for doing ‘nude’ looks (although I of course wish it had a cool undertone, just being difficult here)!
Still can’t get enough of these gorgeous looks, Christine! 🙂
Thank you, Sylirael! 😀
You’re welcome ^_^
I haven’t yet figured out how to do more than about two colours of eyeshadow together (more of a lipstick girl, here), so I have great admiration for your seamless, multicoloured marvels!
I neeeeeeed Latte and Mango Tango.
I’m loving all these Makeup Geek products! The price can’t be beat, either, DANG! I’ll probably be picking up homecoming now!
The first look is gorgeous!! I want every shadow you used!
I really love Mango Tango. I don’t think I have anything like it in my collection.
I don’t know if it’s just me, but all the Makeup Geek e/s seem to run warm?
