Tommyguns. Only thing that tames my stubborn hair. Smells yummy too!
I’m using Garnier Fructis Color Boost shampoo/conditioner.
I wanna switch though, but I have no clue as to which one. =/
Currently, I’m using Fructis Color Shield shampoo and conditioner for colour treated hair since i have black and purple coloured locks
I’m not really brand loyal when it comes to shampoo and conditioner, I basically use whatever is on sale or what catches my eye at the drugstore. Right now I alter between L’Oreal Elvive and Herbal Essences, which I both like for my long hair.
I’ve been switching between Mane & Tail and Big Sexy Hair.
GOOD MORNING 🙂
I use a brand called SYOSS professional performance repair therapy it’s a salon brand it’s new been out for 5 or 6 months and i’m loving it. You can only get it over here where i’m at. If anyone can get there hands on it they should try it comes in other kinds too volume boost, color care, repair therapy and shine & glossy.
I am currently using Bed Head’s Foxy Curls shampoo and conditioner. They work great for my aging thick/coarse wavy hair and smell awesome.
Honestly I own at least 10 sets of shampoo and conditioner and out of all of them I love Herbal Essences self-targeting shampoo + conditioner and Frederic Fekkai full blown shampoo with their conditioner with shea butter. I love both of them since I have oily hair and both give it moisture without weighing it down.
Christine how would you rate living proof? Because I was debating on trying it.
To be honest, I don’t really feel like it’s done anything for me. I know, that sounds so bad. I don’t know if maybe I just don’t have super frizzy hair or any remarkable frizz problems, so it’s hard for me to notice anything! It’s not a bad set, it does the job and leaves my hair super soft and healthy-looking, but admittedly, I hardly do anything to it. (I rarely blow dry, flat iron, curl, etc.)
Cynthia Silvia Stout shampoo of Lush with either the AC or Vegenese conditioner of Lush. The others shampoos I use are BIG and The Blonde alsof both of LUSH.
Sometimes I use a really gold tinted shampoo of Loreal Professional as it keeps my blonde hair sort of yellowish blonde (otherwise I turn white, hihi).
I used Cynthia Sylvia with Veganese for a while, too. And then I scratched my head after a straight week of only those two and the most disgusting build-up came out. :\ I guess that because I use silicone-based curling products in my hair. Ahhh sad. I really like the combo, too….
Vita5 Hydralock Shampoo and ColourTech Conditioner. It’s a great Australian-made salon brand.
i’ve been co-washing my hair for 6 months now, its where you work conditioner into your scalp and hair and then rinse it out instead of washing it with shampoo.
its working really well for me, saved my bleached out hair from the big chop.
I do the co-wash too with VO5 conditioner. I’ve been doing is for nearly 2 years and it has done wonders for my long curly hair. I do tend to use a sulfate free shampoo 2-3x a month.
YAY a co-washer!! 😀 I haven’t started yet… but soon as I finish my latest shampoo I think I’m gonna switch to DevaCurl. 🙂
I use L’Oreal Elvive shampoo and conditioner. I like it, works for me. I love their anti-frizz serum, use it after every hairwash.
“Hard” solid shampoo by Lush and “Veganese” conditionner by Lush too
Anything over 4 dollars lmao. My dad gets the 99 cent kind (because he thinks he’s getting a deal) and that stuff is the worst for my hair. I wash it, and after it is as if I hadn’t washed it at all. lol
I’ve tried Phytocitrus shampoo it’s pretty good.
Matrix, So amazing! Also, Redken blonde treatment & anything Kerastace
Whatever is on sale at Target? 🙂 I have really long, thick hair and I go through shampoo ridiculously fast so I can’t justify the expense of high end shampoos (sometimes I get higher end conditioners, though).
I currently have Head and Shoulders shampoo, Brilliant Brunette shampoo and conditioner, Pantene Beautiful Lengths conditioner, Herbal Essences Body Envy 2-in-1 shampoo and conditioner and a Neutrogena deep conditioning treatment in the shower.
i use devachan (pronounced De-va-shawn)low poo and one conditioner. you can get it at the salon or ricky’s if you’re in nyc, or ulta if you’re any where else.
it’s sulfate free and has a great lemongrass scent. it’s formulated for wavy and curly hair. LOVE IT!
Lately I’ve been using both Carol’s Daughter and Mizani. I love Carol’s Daughter because it uses all natural herbal ingredients and has helped my hair come a long way. I love the Mizani too because it leaves my hair feeling so silky smooth! lol 😀
Wella Color Preserve volumizing formula shampoo and the spray-on leave-in conditioner… love. It’s actually my first expensive shampoo, heehee, before now I used whatever was on sale at the grocery store – but I can totally tell a difference.
I use Garnier Fructis for coloured hair. I’ve been using it a while now, and I love it. I was sick of spending $10-$15 on a shampoo and having it work like crap! I’m sure there is something that works better for me out there, but I’m not going to go on a hunt for it! No time or money!
Biolage when I can afford it and Drug store brands when I cant. LOL
right now I’m using Giovanni Tea Tree shampoo and Yes to Carrot Mud Mask conditioner. I love the Carrots conditioner but I think I’ll switch shampoos to something more moisturizing since my scalp flakes like crazy, even with using Snake Oil from Lush.
I had the same issue with their tea tree line. I actually had difficulties with a few other products of theirs. I’ve tried a few other organic products, and they all gave poor results. I guess my hair just does not appreciate organic haha.
I loved the smell though! I think I might buy some tea tree oil and use it a few times a month mixed in with my shampoo to help relieve oiliness and to help soothe my scalp.
i use only organic products on my hair. for a few months while my hair adjusted. i used only baking soda and vinegar. now i’ve switched back, i go back and forth from jason natural shampoo and conditioner with biotin and aubrey organics rose shampoo and conditioner. i have very curly hair. no longer frizzy or dry. 🙂
Iuse the new L’Oreal Ever Pure Moisture shampoo and ocnditioner! It leaves my hair so soft and as a bonus it doesn’t test on animals!
I switch between Ojon hydrating and Tigi Superstar
Currently I’m using Aveda Color Protect shampoo and conditioner as I just got my hair dyed. Prior to I was using Zotos International Diamond Shine shampoo/cond. as it leaves my hair suuuuper soft. 🙂
Been using Head and Shoulders sensitive scalp shampoo for YEARS (like since middle school) so it’s an old favorite I stick to. I like switching up my conditioner though. Currently LOVING the Avalon Organics ones in peppermint and rosemary. They are really nourishing and rinse out really well so I don’t feel like my hair’s slippery or has build up. My hair feels soooo soft.
I also just started using a shampoo massager! They’re like the most awesome things EVER. I actually got one (for like 99 cents from a Sally’s equivalent) b/c I wanted to wash my hair but not chip the rhinestones off my nails (lol…) but it feels sooooo good! Also takes me less time to wash my hair and better distributes my conditioner. 😀
head and shoulders made no difference for me. I ended up using tar shampoo from the pharmacy, on a recomendation from my aunt who is a doctor. Smells gross but it works. That was ages ago though, I dont need it anymore.
Right now I am using Aveda’s Damage Remedy both shampoo and conditioner. Before that I was using Redken Extreme – the stuff in the blue bottle – so I switch it up. I always have a bottle of blue shampoo on hand to tone my blonde hair.
I use Redken Color Extend Shampoo & Conditioner. I occasionally Pantene Silver Expressions to cool down my blond highlights. I also use the Redken Color Extend Rich Defender and Redken Blonde Glam Fresh Gold for deep conditioning.
I rotate 3 different brands of shampoo and conditioner: Burt’s Bees, Yes To Tomatoes and Hydratherma Naturals from Healthy Hair Journey.
I use La Coup Shine and Shampoo Shampoo and Conditioner, along with their heat protectant straightening balm.
I’m using Aveeno Nourish + Moisturize at the moment and I love it. It makes my hair feel great!
Lush Godiva as both shampoo and conditioner (’cause I just can’t bother).
I’ve been using the A/G Re:Coil shampoo and conditioner. I’ve also been using Marc Anthony’s Repair deep conditioner treatment, but it seems to be a bit too heavy for my hair now that it’s a lot healthier.bMaybe I’ll try it as a pre-shampoo mask!
I’m thinking of incorporating the A/G Conditioner Light for my non-shampoo days, and their Sterling Silver shampoo to use a once or twice a week in rotation with the Re:Coil shampoo.
Does anyone here use dry shampoos?
Im using Dove’s go Fresh Cool Moisture Therapy shampoo and conditioner in cucumber and green tea.
Brunette from John Fridea Love IT! Shampee and conditioner
I alternate between my favorite’s, all of which are TiGi’s products:
-BedHead Foxy Curls
-BedHead Superstar
-BedHead Dumb Blonde
-Catwalk Oatmeal & Honey
I’m using the Yes to Carrots “Yes to Tomatoes” volumizing shampoo and conditioner, and loving them loads!
I’ve been using The Body Shop’s moisturizing shampoo and conditioner and absolutely loving them on my long, fine, curly hair.
I alternate between Kerastase bain chroma riche and the masque that goes with it, Burt’s Bees green tea shampoo and conditioner, and Live Clean’s moisturizing shampoo and conditioner. My hair is colored and highlighted, slightly wavy, and I find they all do a wonderful job keeping my hair healthy and fresh.
Live Clean’s moisturizing version totally dried my hair AND caused build up. I found that unless I shampooed twice with it or used a more stripping shampoo, my scalp was gross.
My hair just doesn’t like that line. Made for a good body wash though 😛
Currently using Ojon Hydrating Shampoo/Cond. Smells good and I can tell it is working.
I’m using Herbal Essences Long-Term Relationship shampoo and conditioner, plus Garnier Fructis’ Sleek and Shine Leave-In Conditioner. My hair is dreadfully frizzy and I need all the help I can get to keep it tame.
Im using Aveeno Nourish + Soothe shampoo and their Nourish + Moisturize condition most of the time. The shampoo is amazing, after trying so many scalp treatments like T-Gel and Head Shoulders it is the only product that stopped my scalp from itching and flaking. Plus, it leaves my hair super soft.
Occasionally I use Healthy Sexy Hair Pumpkin Hydrating Shampoo and Pumpkin Potion because I love the smell (like pumpkin pie!) but they leave my hair feeling dry.
Im loving Biosilk Silk therapy Shampoo and Conditioner!!!!!I purchased it at TJmaxx a few months ago. The smells great and it leaves a beautiful sheen.
i use Techna Shampoo & Conditioner that i buy from visible changes… THEY SMELL AMAZINGG!!!!!!!!!!!!!
P.S. Whats Co- washing??? is it just for curly hair? im soooo interested lol
I prepoo with a concoction of Aubreys Organics Honeysuckle Rose Conditioner, coconut milk, Burts bees avocado pre shampoo treatment, extra virgin olive oil, jojoba oil, sweet almond oil, castor oil, honey, glycerin, african shea butter (melted in microwave for 15 sec)and aloe vera gel, after rinsing out this prepoo treatment my hair has NEVER been so unbelievably SOFT!! Like cotton! Cowash with Aubreys and extra virgin olive oil and deep condition with another homemade concoction of Organic Root Stimulator’s Olive Oil Peplenishing, castor oil, jojoba, 5 drops of rosemary oil, glycerin, and honey, followed by neutrogena leave-in cream….love, love love this stuff….this regimen is definitely a staple for me!!!! I will alternate between aubrey’s HSR conditioner and neutrogena’s triple moisture conditioner…try it and you will love it too. HTH!!
