Pucker Up: Peachy Pink Passion
Pucker Up: Peachy Pink Passion
I wanted to do something that wasn’t a dark/bold lip, and I kind of went to a fall back… peach and pink. I started with a shimmery bronzy shade with peach undertones (MAC Honeymoon lipstick), which I then topped with a slightly orange gloss (MAC Nice to Be Nice Lipglass). I wanted some pink, so I then added a medium bright pink with gold shimmer gloss (MAC Pink Manish Lipglass) to finish.
See progression…

I love the colors, ur making me want to go buy them now haha, I have fair skin and I think this look woudl be perfect for me, thank you xoxo
lol! Aww! I’m sure you could re-do this at home with products you have!
This is so cute!
Thanks, Catherine!
Really love all 3 stages. Honeymoon l/s is lovely. Is it permanent?
Unfortunately, it’s not! 🙁 I’d recommend Frenzy in its place!
Wow, those layered so nicely. I love the look, so pretty.
Thanks, Val!
Nice combo Christine! I was wondering could you recommend some dupes because the only color I have is Nice to be Nice:(
Thanks, Tami! Frenzy lipstick might work (which is permanent)! I’d say any hot pink gloss will do ya – Pink Poodle for one (also permanent).
Hey. Is nice to be nice a perm colour or was it LE? Its super pretty! What about pink manish? I have many pink lipglosses, because I love them!
LE! Pink Manish was LE, too – very limited collection for Manish Arora (I believe that was it)!
I’ve never own any lipglass from MAC, only a couple of Dazzleglass. However when I’ve tried to use one in combination with the other, I feel like I’m just mixing the “substance” and creating a paste, not really blending.
Is it me not getting it right? maybe using too much product. Or do they have different consistencies and Dazzleglass is not meant to be combined with other product of the same line?
I would appreciate your comments!!
Hmm, that is really weird, Siledhel! What are you combining? I’ve mixed Dazzleglasses with lipsticks/glosses without any problems. I’d say maybe try using less, but unfortunately that’s all I can think of!
I love Honeymoon lipstick, it was an oldie limited edition colour from 2-3 years ago and I remember the store and counters were sold out and I have to track on down on ebay. I love using in the summer when I have a tan or when I do a smokey eye. The last time I used it, I layered it with MAC Dazzleglass in Roman Holiday. You can’t go wrong with nudy peachy pinks!
So true! I think this is the first time I’ve used Honeymoon in foreverrr, forgot all about it!
Totally love this! Now, can I keep myself from going and spending the money? 🙂
LOL! Good luck — I haven’t learned that lesson myself!
Nice combo! It reminds me of Euro Beat and Costa Chic.
Thanks, Christy! Oh, yeah, I bet that would come out similar!
You’re making me want to go buy all of these colors! I love the way they all combine. The color is beautiful!
LOL! Sorry, Cam 😉
Thank you!
That combination of the 3 products look amazing. The pink manish lipglass seems gorgeous on its own too, which collection is it from?
It was from Manish Arora! Very, very limited!
LOVE IT!!!!!!
Yay! Thanks, A!
this should be a gloss colour!
Agreed!
