Haul: Laura Mercier Khaki Caviar Stick and Chantecaille Bio Lift Concealer. Was seriously tempted by many Chantecaille eyeshadows as well, but man those are some pricey singles!
Weekend plans: It’s my grandmother’s 90-year-old birthday celebration! I’m back in Taipei and EVERYBODY in the family is here. It’s going to be grand!
Favorite childhood toy: Oh I used to love Barbie!

Haul: Formula X polishes in Bionic, Bombshell, Law of Attraction and Maniacal, Urban Decay Anarchy palette, Butter London polish in Petrol, Zoya polish in Tomoko.
Plans: Putting up Christmas trees and other indoor decorations. It’s a tradition for my hubby and I to put the tree up the first few days of November. For the first eight years of our relationship, my hubby would fly back home for Christmas, which is also his birthday. We’d put the tree up early so we could celebrate longer. Just two years ago was our first holiday/birthday together.
Toy: Little People. We had the original house that opened up. We kept it for nearly thirty years then lost track of what happened to it.

Weekend Plans: I am going to see Ender’s Game Saturday and then up to my grandparent’s on Sunday to take pictures of our Fall Prevention Brochure.
Favorite Childhood Toy: Princess Leia doll from the throne room scene at the end of IV. It was probably supposed to be a collectible, but ended up as a suped up Barbie for me.

Weekend Plans: It’s Divali here in Trinidad and although I’m not Hindu, most of my paternal relatives are Hindu so I will be spending time with them, helping them lay out their deyas, looking at fireworks, driving around the neighbourhood to see how creative people have gotten with their displays…always fun to live in a cosmopolitan society! 😀 Will also be going to church and to the cemetery in commemoration of All Saints and All Souls Day!
Favourite Childhood toy: A cabbage patch doll that I named “Jimmy”. Although “Jimmy” was mostly naked * smh * and eventually lost its arms 🙁 we were inseparable. Rolling on its hard plastic head while sleeping was painful though but I loved it anyway! Truly unconditional love!

Haul: essence xxxl lipgloss in… I don’t remember oops a peachy corally colour?, essence gel stain in deep red, ebelin ei, maybelline super stay gel nail colour in midnight red, essence volume false lashes, p2 matte glitter polish in a lilac shade and i don’t remember if i picked up the maybelline colour tattoo in on and on bronze last week or this, i think it was last though.
Plans: i think we might finally remember to go to ulm tomorrow, possibly going out to stuttgart in the evening as well, and probably recovering from stuttgart sunday if we go, haha.

i picked up all of the matte loreal new long shaped lipsticks the le mattte, i really like them, they are high end quality stuff, i picked up the neutral one of the le laque,
last week i bought the cheaper one of the bite double sided lipstick thing that is out.
before that i bought a bunch of mark down neutral lip liners from drugstore, loreal and maybelline, one cover girl lip balm thing and a cream finish revlon lipstick.
I have a few of the Le Mattes but haven’t had a chance to photograph them yet! Good to hear they are good!

Haul: Too Faced Boudoir eye shadow palette, Clarins Rouge Eclat lipstick in the absolutely gorgeous colour Red Wine, Be Long Mascara, Jeunesse de cou neck cream and Super Restorative Body Lotion (it’s a full size but it was a freebie because I’d purchased 3 items; I also got decent sizes of the products I use in their “Time to Choose” GWP). I also got the new Sheer and Perfect foundation from Shideido and they had a great purchase with purchase that I couldn’t resist….a full size primer, their foundation brush (which I love) and a package of Shiseido’s facial cottons; she also gave me a loose setting powder. I kinda overdid it a wee bitty.
Weekend plans: My yoga challenge comes to an end on Saturday with a celebration party but I’m planning to fit in 2 more classes before then (one is tonight; another is tomorrow, with hubby). Other than that, I think I just want to relax, clear up some of the leaves and put outside stuff away for winter.
Duh again I forgot to answer the last question. My favourite toy when I was a kid was probably Barbie or these 2 lovely toy Persian cats – mother and baby – that came with a cute little wicker basket.

My parents made me a dollhouse, it was gorgeous and I played with it for years & years! I think they’re saving it somewhere for their (currently nonexistent) grandchildren!

Haul: Rimmel London Lasting Finish by Kate Moss in 08 and 111 Kiss of Life, Japonesque Velvet Touch eyeshadow in 05 (silvery taupe), Japonesque #150 eyeliner brush, Maybelline FITMe foundation in 110, Maybelline Colorshow nail polish in Clearly Spotted, Lavender Lustre, and Amethyst Ablaze, Covergirl Outlast Stay Brilliant nail polish in Bronze Beauty, Revlon nail polish in Divine, plus a few basics like Neutrogena’s makeup remover. I had planned on picking up Urban Decay’s lipstick in F-Bomb, but they were out of stock at my Ulta. 🙁
Weekend Plans: Working, staying over at my mom’s house so the dog doesn’t get lonely while she’s visiting my sister in Florida.
Favorite childhood toy: Hmm, that’s a tough one…I got bored with toys easily when I was a kid. Games tended to hold my attention longer, like the old Zelda games for the SNES. 🙂

In case anyone is wondering, I used a clipboard file binder with a magnetic sheet attached as the base. (The clip on the outside may be silly, but it’s actually helpful when I want to make sure it doesn’t slide around in bags or tote along a bag full of brushes with it!) It was pretty easy to alter it from there. I think I may add a snap enclosure to make it a little more travel friendly, but the cardboard itself is certainly sturdy enough to handle some punishment. For my roommate’s collection, I used a couple of empty CD cases to make smaller, “on-the-go” palettes for her. 🙂 The only thing I wish I’d done different with it is removed the interior pocket beneath the metal sheet. I wound up having to level it out with cardboard so the magnet enclosures on each side were better aligned.

* Haul: Waiting with bated breath for the Sephora VIB 20% off sale, but Nordstrom Rack had a whole display of Tarina Tarantino makeup, so I had to try a few things – a few eyeshadows, Dollskin Blush in Feather, translucent powder, and Pearl Primer.
* Weekend plans: My husband is taking me out for a fancy brunch to celebrate the anniversary of our first date.
* Favorite childhood toy: My Little Pony, too! But I read most of the time. (Still do.)
I read a LOT as a kid, too! Not as much now, though.
