Favorite fall lip color? Last season Chanel had limited edition lipstick called Caracrere and I loved it! Clinique Black Honey is another good choice.
Favorite fall blush color? I love plums. Tartes Blushing Bride and Dazzeled will probably see a lot of love from me.
Favorite fall eye palette? I still love Tarte’s True Blood pallet for fall. Although Lorac Pro Palette will be used frequently as well.
Your skin tone/coloring: maybe NW15, I use Laura Mercier Silk Creme in Soft Ivory, sometimes adding some Illamasqua Skin Base 02 to lighten it further.

Favorite fall lip color?: Mac Brick O La (though Chanel Imperial might challenge it once I get a chance to wear it)
Favorite fall blush color?: Nars Taos? My other blushes are summery, I’m still looking for a more toned down brown/orange colour. Maybe Nars Silvana.
Favorite fall eye palette? Don’t own much eyeshadow, but Urban Decay Smog seems like a great fall colour.

Skintone/Coloring: Fairly light, very neutral; dark-featured.
Lip: I tend to gravitate towards nudes & other soft shades because I tend to go deeper/heavier on the eyes. However, on “lazier” days, I’ll go for something vampy.
Blush: I haven’t figured it out yet, but I’m thinking NARS Douceur will be one I reach for often. It’s still pretty hot where I am, so I haven’t been wearing full-face looks…
Eyeshadow palette: UD Black Palette, although I have to pull some lighter shades, and a highlighter, but the jewel-tones are just so pretty. UD Smoked is also pretty good, and has everything but the highlighter.

I know I’m not Christine, but Tarte Exposed (completely matte) and Korres #15 Natural (satiny sheen, but very natural!) are two of my favorite neutral blushes that never go muddy on my NW20-25 skin).
I echo Twziggy’s Exposed rec, also Burberry Earthy!

Thanks for the “memory jog” – I haven’t used Vex in ages and really should get it out to combine with Club or Inglot 419 or something purple. It is such a beautiful colour and I should use it more often.

Is it bad that I don’t really differentiate between summer and fall makeup? Maybe it’s because I live in Southern California. I am going to be dyeing my hair chesnut brown, which I’m pretty excited about, so I’m going to be experimenting with different smoky eyes and trying out my new Sonia Kashuk Spiced Berry and Hourglass Icon lipsticks.

Favorite fall eye palette? I don’t have a lot of eye palettes with what I consider typical fall colors. I think my favorite must be MAC Royal Assets in Warm Eyes (on old LE palette from the 2007 holiday collection, I believe) because two of my favorite fall eyeshadows, Club and Star Violet (both permanent), are in that palette. I honestly believe Star Violet is one of MAC’s most underrated eyeshadows. It’s really wearable (no punched-in-the-eye or cried-all-night look!) and so creamy and smooth. It really is the perfect burgundy eyeshadow for fall!

Favorite fall lip color? Vampy colours like MAC’s Rebel, Cyber, or Rocker, as well as plums/mauves like Plumful or Aristo-Cat.
