I prefer them to brush applicators in lip gloss because I feel I have more control but this only works when the doe foot is small. Large ones like in the Diamond Lipglosses from NYX are difficult to use because they are larger than my lips!

I love them for lip products.. they can build a gloss up nicely with 2 or 3 coats, without losing product.

For concealers and cream eye shadows and such, I HATE them. I use MAC’s Select Moisturecover concealer which has a doefoot & I find it sucks a lot of the product up and applies unevenly.

i hate them. i actually won’t buy a lip product if it has a doe foot applicatior. i find that i don’t get enough product, and, especially with MAC lip glasses, it sort of pulls at my lips more than a brush does.

I use mine everyday. I didn’t buy the brush, my sister gave it to me, I probably wouldn’t have bought it myself.
I love it. I use it to put my base es on. I pretty much use shroom everyday with my work look and it is a great brush for this all over lid wash.

I don’t like doe foot applicators because I think they soak up lots of product and that is a waste of product to have it soak up in a sponge. I prefer a brush applicator because it doesn’t absorb product and the application is more precise.

I hate that too! Sometimes I like to put light coloured glosses over dark lipsticks and then the doefoot applicator is forever stained. Except for this, I don’t mind them though.

I much prefer a brush on my lip glosses. Doe foot applicators don’t work for me. They smush the product all over my lips and it’s hard to to get a precise application.

Too much product gets stuck in the tube! They are okay for lip gloss, but for anything that is more viscous, about half of the product in the tube won’t be used easily. You either have to shake it hard, whack it on a hard surface, or try to get it to settle differently.

And I think it’s even worse when the tube is clear and I can SEE that there is product in there. It’s like the product is taunting me. LOL!

I think it depends on the type of lipgloss. I think a stickier lipgloss benefits to a doe foot for easier application. In general I prefer a brush applicator since it allows for greater control.

I don’t like doe foots on lipglosses, which seems to be the only reasonable use for a doe foot applicator, lol. It doesn’t have any precision and I find myself having to constantly dip it in the gloss.

I love them. I have really full lips and this lets me press it to the very edge with a nice precise line. I really have to work at getting it precise more with a brush applicator. I am not one of those swipe-on, smush lips together and go kind of girls.

Ehh, I like to avoid them if possible.

The best? SPATULA APPLICATORS. Most Asian lipglosses use them and they’re awesome for layering and saving product 🙂
