I am really digging the packaging for some of these items.
Mini lip set? I’m intrigued. Can’t wait to find out more!
I really want to try one of the cheek palettes. I don’t own any NARS blushes and think this would be a great way to be introduced to several of them at once.
wonderful <3
I’m really excited to see the face kit; maybe a change to try out different NARS products? I don’t own any. Also the mini lipstick set. I am a mini lipstick addict!
Sephora Exclusive, I live in the Netherlands, bah humbug.
I know how you feel, I live in The Netherlands too. We can’t even get NARS, we don’t even have Sephora any more and now we can’t even order all products online…
Sometimes Sephora NARS Exclusives are exclusive to Space NK in the UK (I think this was the case with Soulshine). Space NK ships to Europe, I think.
Okay – I am DYING for more photos! This gets me really excited for the holiday collections.
Put “nars guy bourdin” into your search engine, and it’ll take you to a couple of sites that have pics… There are also 5 eyeshadow singles in a new, exclusive formula, and a highlightin blush…
The shadows are supposed to have a pearl, metallic finish, and from what I can tell, will be a bright blue, a gunmetal, a bright eggplant, a vanilla, and a coppery orange.
I don’t understand what the giant lips are for but I know that I want it, is that weird?
no you’re not. I spotted the red lips first when I saw this post. I want them!
I really want to check out the cheek palettes. I bought Danmari last year (year before?), and I LOVE it. I have quite a respectable collection of NARS blushes going. 😉
Wow! Feel like Lady Marmalade-ish! Hahaha Love it!
Fingers crossed that the blush palette is awesome. I already own deep throat, orgasm and sin so it would be awesome if it didn’t have any of those. I’m still upset with myself that I decided against the DanMari palette (2011?)
I *think* Orgasm is in it, however, 3 of the shades are exclusive to this palette. HTH
Christine, do you hear more about future product launches form WWD, or a brand’s PR? Also, are you subscribed to the online version and/or print version of WWD? I would think you’d get more content from the online subscription, but i want to find out more before subscribing. Thanks in advance for your input! 🙂
Hi Lauren,
I find the subscription to be mostly a waste of money for my purposes, so I don’t subscribe currently. The information I needed was maybe two or three times a year. I would also never get the print edition if you don’t live in NYC – I would get 3-7 issues all at once, rather than daily. Usually the brand supplies the WWD article. Only really big launches go through WWD as an exclusive – but primarily brands send information. Honestly, an overseas outlet usually leaks the information well before any U.S. print/online outlet actually puts out their exclusive article about it. If you’re interested in the industry and/or fashion, it may be worth trying once. I just couldn’t sign up at full price after my first year was over – I didn’t use it enough to justify the price.
Thank you so much, Christine! It is definitely a lot to dish out, especially if you don’t read it every day, or even a few times a week. I do enjoy reading about the industry in general, but I’m primarily interested in their beauty section. Lots to consider. Thanks again! 🙂
The packaging is cute! I really want the One Night Stand palette. I’m interested in the other palette as well. Also is that bright fuchsia product in the far left a blush or eyeshadow? It looks gorgeous!
This is so exciting! I love NARS collections, and I’m looking forward to more info on this. Thank you so much Christine!
I dont buy NARS anymore. But I do give NARS credit for having something new each season. NARS did not do that before. It has step up the game where I feel UD has went back wards since Loreal bought UD.
Look very interest!
my heart just stopped.. 😀 😀 😀
That lippie thingy on the right is so Lulu Guinness!!!
xoxo,
Roxanne C.
Looking forward to the collection… especially the blush palettes although I had hoped Orgasm and Laguna weren’t included. Oh well… The whole collection looks interesting. I hope they are as good as I’m hoping them to be. I do like that lip purse(?) too.
This really does look intriguing but I have not been impressed with some of the Nars collections in the past. I am hoping for a good review/swatches when they come out! The lips were the first thing that caught my eye though!
Will that cheek palette be similar to the Danmari palette???
Can NOT wait to see the official photos and product descriptions! THIS collection I’m excited for. Especially that cheek palette! 😀
I need all the lipsticks ……….ALL of them. Love ♥♥♥♥♥♥♥♥
Ooh the eyeshadows are beautiful. Jesus help my wallet
Day Dream blush
Eeeep!!! Wowza
I luv the purple and blue shadows.
OMG…I just have to HAVE the blue and purple eye shadows. #fainted
This collection looks amazing!
Mini lip set? Cheek palette? I don’t see those. 🙁
Hi Tonnie,
Please see the Gifting post: http://www.temptalia.com/nars-x-guy-bourdin-gifting-collection-holiday-2013
Coeur Battant is blowing my mind, and I can’t wait to hear more about the Cinematic Lipsticks–it’s about time that NARS came out with a new finish. Lip pencils aside, they don’t have a lot of options between sheer and matte/semi-matte.
The purple and blue eyeshadows are calling my name! Might get one of the blush palettes even though I own about 10 Nars blushes. It would be nice to have a blush palette for traveling.
I’m a Nars blush collector, excited to see new colors! And I’m happy they aren’t 41 bucks like the most recent LEs. HEHEHE
Now, if i could only get my hands on that Nars Strawberry Fields LE lip gloss. Thanks for the post!
I can’t wait for this collection! Especially the Sephora palette. I’ve been waiting for a blush palette for so long!
Have you seen some of the photos and images they are using on the packaging? such as a woman laying naked face down in the grass? How that is appropriate marketing for a cosmetics line beats me. I will not buy anything from this collection and will probably not buy from NARS again in the future. Think of the impressionable young girls and women who will see this packaging. I don’t get what the point is. If you want to call his photos art then fine, but don’t commercialize them and market them towards women. I won’t support a company objectifying women and glorifying violent images.
