Infinitely fuchsia from Maybelline! It stays on my lips for hours and really brightens up every outfit you’re wearing. It is cool toned, which I like. It also screams summer 🙂

Maybe Guerlain 860 Madame Batifole, very good formula and classy. There are other beautiful fuchsia lipsticks too, like Nars Funny Face and some M.A.C too.

KK Avatar

I agree Rashmi! But probably in the other order – Estee Lauder would be my top pick – its true and proper fuschia! Followed by Lancome Midnight Rose. And GAT…I have yet to try!

I wasn’t really a fuchsia person until I tried Anarchy by Urban Decay and now I’m in love. It’s super comfortable on the lips and very long wearing without being overly dry.

Mac Lickable in Creamsheen is easily the best fushia lipstick I’ve ever owned! I will forever be buying replacements for this amazing color. It applies beautifully, is so bright and fun, and looks great with my dark hair.

I have this one by Maybelline that’s called Maybelline Hydra Extreme in Electric Pink, but all the blogs that mention it online are in Spanish, so I’m guessing it’s either a line that was only released in Latin America or they changed the names for the Latin American release (but no matter how hard I find I can’t find the color in the Maybelline Moisture Renew line, which seems to come in the same packaging and was sold in the US)

Oh I have Electric Pink! very nice lipstick indeed, and very cheap! you can get those at the supermarket (the equivalent for the drugstore in Mexico). I think Electric Pink may be a dupe for that Mac one….Candy yum yum.

The NARS Satin Lip Pencil in Yu. Seriously gorgeous! Not drying at all. Weightless on the lips and easy to use. I wish I had the money to collect all of these pencils. They’re amazing!

Lush Emotional Brilliance Passionate! I cannot get enough, even though I find that game they do gimmicky I cannot fault the lippies. They go on like a cream and stain,I prefer it to my Glossy Stain!

My favorite is the tragically discontinued Revlon Colorburst lipstick in Fuchsia. I bought a backup of it before it disappeared entirely, but I’m still on the lookout for a dupe! MUFE Rouge Artist Intense #36 looks pretty close, from the swatches I’ve seen.

I also love MAC Candy Yum-Yum, but I’m not sure that counts as “fuchsia,” per se.

Revlon had one that was just called Fuchsia (I think), but it was in their old packaging. I’m not sure if it’s still available or if it got renamed. And now all of these comments are making me want to pick up MAC Girl About Town! It’s one of the few MAC lipsticks I don’t own.

Veronica Avatar

I have quite a few, but my favorite is Revlon’s Wild Orchid. It’s actually fairly similar to Urban Decay’s Jilted, maybe slightly stronger purple tone.

Grace Avatar

I think that Mac’s Candy Yum Yum is pretty good and I like a few of it’s dupes: Maybelline Fuschia Flash and Barry M’s #52. I’m actually wearing the Maybelline one now and I love it!

Since Guerlain describes it as “fuchsia”, I would have to say Champs Elysses lipstick, though I’ve never really thought of it as fuchsia, but more a rich pink. But it’s the closest thing I have to fuchsia and Guerlain considers it so, so that will have to be my answer.

Interesting… I consider Revlon Cherries in the Snow to be red. Well, that’s how it shows on me. It’s one of my favorite lipstick shades in general, and I absolutely *abhor* fuschia.

Esme Avatar

It’s interesting how different Cherries in the Snow looks on everyone! I bought it expecting a pinkish red, but it’s definitely pink on me–not quite as purply as a true fuchsia, but certainly bordering on fuchsia.

Make Up For Ever Rouge Artist Natural N31!
It looks really intimidating in the tube due to the neon-ness but it goes on quite naturally and really makes your face pop! I’ve gotten lots of compliments on it (:

I love Fuchsia lipsticks! Some of my favorites: YSL Rouge Pur #19, MAC Girl about town, Black Radiance 5004, Maybelline Fuchsia Flash, and Nars Schiap.

Smashbox Be Legendary lipstick in Inspiration. I LOVE Smashbox’s lipstick line. The colors are amazing, they feel great on my lips, and last up until I eat.
MAC Lickable, Love Goddess and Candy Yum Yum are amazing. The bright colors are beautiful.
Again I find they do last as long as I don’t eat or drink.

I also try to wear a lip primer and/or lip liner to minimize bleeding when wearing such bold colors.

MAC Full Fuchsia! It is the perfect bright pink fuchsia lipstick, not drying, but staining, so the colour stays on for long hours even after I’ve eaten or drank. And it is a very flattering colour both for my complexion and teeth, I always get a ton of compliments when I wear it and it always makes me feel happy and smiling 🙂

Revlon Cherries in the Snow. On me it’s fuchsia, and very bright. The only other one I’ve tried is Illamasqua Atomic which I love the colour of, but it makes my lips seem very ‘textured’ and doesn’t look so hot. Fuchsia is a colour (like bright orange) that I really gravitate towards at makeup counters, but I always talk myself out of buying it because I just don’t wear bright lipstick that much.

Chanel’s Rouge Allure in Exaltee gives a pow of color but is still wearable to the office/in polite company.

But, obviously, MAC’s Girl About Town is the best for the real deal!

Korres Liquid Lipstick 54, Chanel L’Exuberante , Mac Scandelicious , Revlon Cherries in The Snow, Guerlain Champs-Elysees and Madame Batifole, and two beautiful combos Mac lip pencil Process Magenta with Rouge Allure Laque Phoenix ( still found in some stores in Greece ), or Guerlain’s Kiss Kiss gloss #820 …and i must admit that i have a serious problem.

Lesley Avatar

Joe Fresh Matte Lipstick in Fuchsia. There is no comparison! It’s $6 CDN and the color is deep and beautiful and rich. It wears for such a long time too!!

ms Avatar

it’s a shame nobody mentioned rare exotic by mac. mattene. mattene are the best “matte” finish lipsticks ever, they don’t dry me out. everytime i have to take off that lipstick i feel bad about taking it off cos i love it so much.

mac girl about town, when i bought it, i went a week later and bought a backup. i don’t like it as much now, cos i’ve found more opaque brighter lipsticks.

a couple by occ lip tars, like anime

waiting to pick up the stuff by ud new lipsticks anarchy.

Urban Decay: Jilted and Anarchy
MAC: Show Orchid

I know everyone loves MAC’s Girl About Town, but I actually don’t really like it on me – I feel very 1980’s Wet and Wild, lol!

Christine Avatar

Top 3: Too Faced Fuchsia Shock for creamy not so long lasting colour, Givenchy Fuchsia Irresistible for long lasting AMAZING colour, Mac Girl about Town is a little less bright than Givenchy
