I apply both liquid and cream liners with a lip brush. I feel like it provides more control and a more precise line. I need to buy another, because now I have no brush for actual lip use!

i apply it in 3 strokes. from the inside corner i do a line to half way across my eyelid, 2nd stroke i do second half and my ‘batwing’ (cats eye type flick at the end)and with a third stroke go across the very edge of my lid/eyelashes to eliminate any white lines!
i also use ruby and millie i-define which comes as a brush that you click to release eyeliner. its amazing, nothing beats it and ive been wearing liquid eyeliner every day for 5 years so i’ve been around the block with products!

i only use liquid eyeliner or eye shadows as liner. the only liquid liner i have is maybelline wp liquid eyeliner in black, it is my tightlining tool so you know how i use it mostly.

it replaced my former HG Lancome Artliners. been years and i can’t find anything better than maybelline’s for me.

I use a 209 for Fluidline and even for Liquidlast. I can’t work with that tiny brush on Liquidlast. I just grab the liner off the little brush on to my 209 and do my thang.

I have not come to terms with the Penultimate. I need to improve my skills on that one.

I usually just use my Fluidline now that I’ve discovered it, but I used to use Prestige liquid eyeliners and I still use MAC’s Aqualine Liquidlast.

To apply those, I just take the applicator that’s included and swipe off the excess on the side of the tube (esp with the LL). Then I just slowly and lightly apply the liner starting on the outside going in. That way, the concentration of the color is on the outside corner and not the inner corner of the eye. 🙂

If I’m happy with it, I go through it once more to make the line darker/more vivid. If I’m not, I erase it. 🙂

I get about 3 or 4 inches from the mirror when I apply my eye makeup. I also have the ability to touch my eyeball and it doesn’t hurt or burn so I must admit up front that I am quite possibly the descendant from a circus family of freaks.

I usually use the liquid liner brush that comes with the eyeliner and I start at the inner corner and draw a fine line that touches my lashes at the root all the way across is one stroke. I then dip my brush into the product and repeat adjusting the width of the line to what I want. I just have a steady hand so liquid is not really a problem for me. It helps to have a very fine brush point.

I apply gel liner with an angled brush pretty much the same way. One thing I do to save time with a gel liner is I load both sides of the brush with color so I can flip it over and do the other eye quickly without having to reload.

We must be two of a kind, cause I’m the same way!

I use an angled brush for gel/cream liners and I generally dont ude liquid liners that aren’t in felt tip pen form lol The only one ive had success with is the Wet ‘n Wild liquid liners.

Generally I use foiled shadows lol sometimes. Like today!

For liquid liners that I just use the provided applicator for it, but if it is a gel liner in a pot, I use MAC 209. Yesterday, I used Christine’s trick of dipping a pencil liner into the gel liner pot and using it on my lower lash line. Works like a charm and it is so much easier than using a brush. Thanks Christine!

blacktrack fluidline w/ 208 brush
i just start on my outter lower lash line n work it lighter towards my inner & then connect it to my top lash line n create the wing

my preferred method for control would be a cake eyeliner where you add water and use a separate brush (fine pointed or straight edge or angled, depending on desired result), but for quick and easy cat-eyes, i like the liquid liner from mac with the felt-tip-brush thing (boot black.

i use my sonia kashuck angled brush from target or my mac 275 (though i think its can be a bit harsh on my eye), then i dip in in my mac fluidline, or stila smugde pot.

I use an angled brush for Fluidline, and I only like felt-tip liners like the original MAC Liquid Eye Liner or Revlon Colorstay Liquid Liner. I hold my eyelid taut – I’ve read you shouldn’t but that’s the only way for me – and go in sections.

When I bother to wear liquid eyeliner, it’s THE VERY FIRST eye makeup I apply because I haven’t mastered the technique yet and application is inevitably messy. I use MAC’s Liquidlast and swipe it on with the included brush. Then I clean up with a q-tip dipped in remover so that I end up with a clean line.

I usually use the Loreal Superliner in black. It has a thin tapered sponge tip and I find that it’s really easy to use. You can either use just the tip to get a thin, precise line or you can also turn it a little on its side to get a thicker line. I normally draw a line from the centre of my eyelid to the outer eyelid and then finish drawing the line in the inner corner. I usually go over the line again, just to make sure it’s even and that the colour is all even. I like to add a little flick at the outer corner, just to lift the look.

If the liner has an applicator I dont like or none at all, I’ll use the 266/263 MAC brush…
But I usually use L’oreal’s Lineur Intense or Lancome’s Artliner which both have the long, soft, sponge applicators that work for me.

I use gel liners, those are the best thing ever that happened to me and love them! I simply use ecotools angled brush, it’s really great and easy to use! 🙂
