The Fairest Private Sample Sale Launches!

The Fairest Private Sample Sale Launches!

THE FAIREST has officially launched, and I’m so excited to tell you about it. The Fairest is devoted to beauty sample sales. You can save up to 75% off your favorite beauty brands, and they already have some awesome, big-time brands signed up. Today’s sales include Stila and COOLA. Sales in the next few weeks include Jurlique, MOR, Butter London, Tarte, and Cosmedicine.

Second, I am a blog contributor, where you can learn more about the brands/products featured in the latest sales at The Fairest. Third, when you join from our invite link, you will receive $5 (and I will receive $5, to be clear) when you make you first purchase. When you join through our referral, it also helps us track how many people we’ve turned onto The Fairest and let’s us (and The Fairest!) know more about the Power of Temptalia. 🙂

I hope you’re as excited as I am that someone finally invested and created a beauty sample sale site — c’mon, how often do you see major brands at 50% off? EXACTLY!

International Readers: Unfortunately, at this time, The Fairest does not offer international shipping.  Both myself and Nadine (of The Fairest) are happy to hear your thoughts, and please know that Nadine is definitely passing along your feedback to the company.

Would love to hear your input! (And, as always, share any hauls you make!)

Disclaimer:  This post is NOT sponsored or paid for by The Fairest.   (Read our FAQ about our policy on sponsored posts.)  We are but a humble blog contributor for the experience and honor.  The only payment we may receive is for referring you ($10 commission split between you and us, so $5 each), which is a benefit/perk available to any and all members of The Fairest.  Referral credits that we earn help us purchase beauty products we otherwise might not be able to so that we can then review them for readers on the blog.  There is no harm to you or detriment to you by joining through our referral link.

Comments that do not adhere to our comment policy may be removed. Discussion and debate are highly encouraged but we expect community members to participate respectfully. Please keep discussion on-topic, and if you have general feedback, a product review request, an off-topic question, or need technical support, please contact us!

Please help us streamline the comments' section and be more efficient: double-check the post above for more basic information like pricing, availability, and so on to make sure your question wasn't answered already. Comments alerting us to typos or small errors in the post are appreciated (!) but will typically be removed after errors are fixed (unless a response is needed).

We appreciate enthusiasm for new releases but ask readers to please hold questions regarding if/when a review will be posted as we can't commit to or guarantee product reviews. We don't want to set expectations and then disappoint readers as even products that are swatched don't always end up being reviewed due to time constraints and changes in priorities! Thank you for understanding!

This is great news! Who doesn’t love a beauty sample sale. However, when i just browsed the site, i noticed they don’t include any item descriptions. That deterred me from making a purchase. When items are packaged as trios or sets, you like to know what you are getting; items & colors. They don’t list any of that information, only price. I was interested in a couple sets but there was nothing that said what color the pot was or the convertible color or the lip glaze. Kind of a bummer. If they can fix that, then their site will be golden.

Christine – maybe you can let your contact at The Fairest know my concern as just a little constructive feedback. Thanks for the invite, I signed up through your link 🙂

Is this part of some other private sample sale network? I went to sign up and my email address was already in the system. I tried logging in with my usual credentials and it worked. Just wondering.

Christine Avatar

To clarify: No, I don’t get anything. Your account gets $5 credit and my account gets $5 credit IF and when you make your first purchase. It isn’t just signing up, so even if you aren’t able to purchase due to U.S. only shipping restrictions, I’m not receiving any referral credits just because you signed up. You have to actually buy something first! HTH!

I am forwarding all your comments to the team at The Fairest and am very confident that we will be shipping to Canada soon! Rest assured that we hear your complaints, take each and every one to heart, and are working hard to make ourselves the favorite beauty site for *everybody*!

To Canada only? what about the rest of the potential yet untapped customers around the rest of world? So far out of this sample sale phenom that is currently making rounds on the net, only Billion Dollar Babes do international shipping. For USD50 they’d ship to Australia, it’s a lot but sometimes it’s worth it!

Thanks for this great mention of The Fairest, Christine!

Nicole, I am going to pass along your concerns to The Fairest team – you’re absolutely right that the items should include descriptions. Thanks for your feedback!

Meg, for now, The Fairest doesn’t ship internationally. 🙁 I am lobbying for this to be changed asap!

Amazingly quick response & resolution! Thanks Nadine. Now I can go back to check out those Stila sets I wanted & get more details on what’s included in them. Perfect 🙂

that’s what I tought I’d do, but in the billing information (that must be the same as the credit card) only let you enters US states, so that doesn’t work. You would need a friend in the “lending” you the card.

Meg Avatar

Indeed. This is why I stick with HauteLook, MAC, or Sephora because they ship to Canada. It gets tiresome to see people advertise all these marvelous sales only to find out they don’t ship outside of the US. I’m not sure why these companies are disinterested in expanding their marketing base.

Michelle Avatar

There are quite a few companies that don’t ship to the US as well. Sometimes we feel the same way about European lines. It’s just life, I guess 🙂

We try to approve comments within 24 hours (and reply to them within 72 hours) but can sometimes get behind and appreciate your patience! 🙂 If you have general feedback, product review requests, off-topic questions, or need technical support, please contact us directly. Thank you for your patience!
