Guest Look -- Jes Shares A Soft Smoky Eye

Here’s a look I did on my little sister’s friend who wanted me to do her make up before they went out. She didn’t want it too crazy looking but she wanted a lot of shimmer. I only had fifteen minutes to complete the look, so it’s not exactly the best make up job or highest quality pictures, but they told me to send it to the site ’cause they loved it.

That looks really good, but you might want to consider something redder for her lips. I think that looks a bit much. But very nice eye makeup in particular!

I think the look works. The smokey eye is made a bit more girly than stuck up by the lips, and the blonde/tan thing makes it seem summery. Nice job!

Aww, yay! Thanks everyone! I was nervous cause this was my first guest look ever and all the other guest looks on here are so gorgeous & professional. But yeah, I was definitely going for the natural summery look/glow. I would have typically had a darker lip depending on the circumstances (like if I had applied it on myself or what season it was) but she’s 16 so I wanted to keep it a little playful, but not so light that the lips were completely washed out by the smokey eye.. hope I did a good job of achieving that! :o)

the look is great! How does a nude lip look a bit much, but u suggest a red lip? I would think that would be a bit much but the LOOK definitely looks wonderful! Keep up the good work Jes:)
