NORDSTROM’s Anniversary Sale
is officially here! Check out all of the beauty exclusives… and don’t forget about the SHOES. (I bought the Coach Emma pumps (in Black Patent) during Early Access, and I LOVEEEEEE them! They are actually really cushy and comfy. Gonna wear them for date night tonight! Has anyone tried the Kate Spade Tilda pumps, because I considered those but they’re pricey, even on sale. If I didn’t have a beauty blog, I would have a shoe blog. Seriously.)

I always love hearing about your shoes purchases 🙂 If I had known that the Gentle Souls Lily Moon shoe was going to be on sale, I would have waited to save $70! I seriously love them so I might buy another pair. I’m actually not interested in the beauty items this year.

I love the black patent ones with the white bow, but since the Coach wedges are black patent with a bow then it seems redundant… but I don’t know if I love the nude as much as the black. I love the low wedge, though.

I was wondering what the benefits of shopping the NAS were over shopping at sephora. I’m trying to figure out which is the better deal right now, because sephora ebates are at 8% right now while Nordstrom is at 3%. Are the Nordstrom sales actually a good deal? Or am I supposed to be excited about the beauty exclusives? Cause they still seem so expensive! Thanks for your help!

Beauty exclusives are just that, exclusive to Nordstrom – sometimes this just means a GWP, other times a special shade only at Nordstrom, and then there are value-sized products as well as sets/kits that are specially priced for the sale, so then these items are not available at Sephora. So the exclusives can be good deals, depending on what you’re looking for.
If you have a Nordstrom card (it’s a credit card), you can get points for shopping – during early access, cardholders got double points on all anniversary purchases, and the points add up to $20 gift certificates at Nordstrom, so they have that incentive, as Sephora just has points towards samples/GWPs.

I got the Kevyn Aucoin “Iconic Eye” palette and I’m SO excited about it. I’ve been eyeing the sculpting powder and the celestial powder for months. When I saw the palette included little nugget sized portions of both, and included some gorgeous neutral shadows, I couldn’t get my credit card out fast enough. I just hope the quality is consistent with the other products I’ve tried from KA. Your shoes are SUUUPER cute! Have a good weekend!
