All I Want This Week is Korres

After falling completely in love with Korres’ Tinted Moisturizer, and finding their Silicone-Free Primer suited me well… I have been jonesin’ SO, so bad for the brand. I love their lipgloss, Guava lipstick (even if it’s a definite splurge item), and eyeshadows. Here are seven products I’m interested in trying next. Any input?

  • Korres Pomegranate Cleansing & Make Up Removing Wipes ($12.00) grabbed my attention, because I am always on the hunt for softer wipes for my skin. Whenever I wear heavy eye makeup or a bold lip color, I use makeup removing wipes to take off some of that heavier color before I apply my facial cleanser. I tend not to use these too much all over my face, because I don’t find they’re as soothing as I’d like.
  • Korres Blush ($22.00) is available in eight shades, but I’m most drawn to #18 Peach and #47 Orange Brown. At $22, they’re a bit steeper than I’d like, but we shall see…
  • Korres Wild Rose 24-Hour Moisturizer SPF 6 ($32.50) has been on my lemming list ever since I tried Korres’ Tinted Moisturizer. I’m always looking for a better moisturizer, and I’d love this one to be it. It’s affordable, and it looks like a great moisturizer for my normal to dry skin.
  • Korres Quercetin & Oak Antiageing Antiwrinkle Day Cream SPF 10 ($48.00) is a moisturizer for the AM that contains anti-aging properties. It’s never too early to start, yeah?
  • Korres Cherry Full Color Gloss ($16.00) seems like a winning formula based off of the one shade I’ve tried thus far, but I am eager to try out some of their other shades, like Beige Pink, Golden Brown, and Fuchsia.
  • Korres Olive Stones Natural Scrub ($19.50) seems like a budget-friendly facial scrub, and if you’ve been a long time reader, you probably know I love me a good exfoliator! It’s currently out of stock on Sephora, but I might have to cave when it’s back in stock.
  • Korres Wild Rose Foundation ($28.00) is one of Korres’ products that I’ve heard raves about from others. I love liquid foundatoins, so I’m interested in seeing how this one works. I like the sound of a “smooth, velvety finish.” With only six shades to choose from, I’m not sure where I lie. Anyone else who’s NC25/NC30 found their shade in this product?

I was recently matched at the MAC Pro store with an NC25 in Studio Sculpt (which I was told runs a little dark), so my skin may be lighter than yours. However, I tried on WRF2 in the Wild Rose Foundation and it was just a smidgen too dark on me so it may work perfectly on you!

Good luck! If you want med/heavy coverage (like I do), this foundation may be a bit too much work for you.

I have the makeup wipes and they’re great! They smell great and take off your eye makeup really well. They only come with 25 wipes for $12 so it’s a tad expensive per wipe. It’s very soothing and doesn’t irritate my skin even though there are a lot of natural ingredients.

I would advise storing it face down to keep it from drying. But, of course you know that already 😉

Now that I saw your review on the lipgloss, I’m definitely getting one! I saw them at Sephora and I thought that it would apply quite sheer, but you’ve changed my mind now. 🙂

Do you know that because of you I looked at the Korres stuff at Sephora? The lipsticks/glosses sound interesting especially since I have super sensitive lips – I can no longer wear MAC lipsticks/glosses (boo) so I stick to Bare Escentuals and NARS. Maybe I’ll have luck with this brand!

i use their honey face cream and their olive and rye night cream and both are divine. i have combo skin which can be a little acne prone and these are working out wonderfully. i got them from the hautelook sale and im so glad i did!

I would love to know what you think of the foundation. I bougth the tinted sunblock per your suggestion and I LOVE it 🙂 its the tiniest bit too dark for me, even with the “light” shade….but its summer time so I just kinda pretend I am just “tan”…hehehehe

So if the foundation is anything as awsome as the sunblock, I would totally be into trying it….hope it comes in lighter shades than the sunblock.

I’ve never tried anything by korres but I’m always open to new brands. If I were going to try one thing from the line what would you recommend? Is there anything you’ve found that they really excel at compared to other lines?

Love the Korres Cherry Oil Gloss! Have it in Fuchsia. Color is pretty and semi-sheer; however, it doesn’t always apply evenly. I combine it with other pinks to make it more opaque and smooth. Other than that, I have little to gripe about. It’s semi-sticky so it definitely has some lasting power. Plus, it tastes great!

I also want to try the Wild Rose Foundation. I have sensitive skin that breaks out with most foundations, even mineral ones. Hopefully, this one will do the trick of evening me out without irritating my skin.

I really love the pomegranate facial wipes, and the cherry lip gloss. I haven’t tried anything else Korres makes makeup wise but I definitely would like to. 🙂

Have you tried their mascara at all? I have a sample and it works well and looks very natural, but it has this super organic smell to it that isn’t all that pleasant…

I cannot recommend enough the Jasmine Body Butter – sure it’s pricey, but when your hands are as dry as mine it is totally worth it! The scent is exactly like the fragrant jasmine tea. The formula is very rich so you only need a little.

I like Korres, some products more than others but I’m staying in Greece and the brand is so much more affordable in here. I would never buy it with the prices with what it’s being sold elsewhere in Europe or US.

Here are some examples from Greek prices, converted in USD:
Pomegranate Wipes $7.6
Wild Rose Moisturiser $18.3
Cherry Gloss $10.6
Olive Stones Scrub $14

In Greece, Korres is sold virtually in every corner pharmacy (and there are LOTS of those in here). While living outside Greece, I’ve bought my Korres’ from a Greek online pharmacy, that delivers abroad. Still comes a lot cheaper, than with those outrageous prices elsewhere Europe & United States.

The Wild Rose items are amazing. You should really get the kit if you want to try it out. I believe it’s $45 & you get the full-size Wild Rose Moisutrizer, full-size Wild Rose Brigtening Mask & then 2 other smaller items that I am blanking on right now. The moisturizer & mask alone is worth the price because individually they are almost $60. I love Korres just as you do. Such an amazing brand that totally tickles my fancy. LOL! Right now I am all over the Yogurt Mask & Moisturizing Cream. Best skin-calming product I have ever put my hands on.

I have the blush in #18 peach, and to me it looks exactly like NARS orgasm! It might even be a little bit better, because the warm tones really brighten up my face, I love it! 🙂
