My favorite blush for my drier skin are the new Josie Maran Coconut Watercolor Cheek Gelees. Super hydrating, long lasting, and is the most natural looking blush I have ever used. Poppy Paradise & Getaway Red are my holy grail blushes (a title previously held by Chanel’s Rose Initiale) – i was extremely pleasantly surprised by them! They also make a really pretty lip tint!

I also love the Josie Maran Coconut Watercolor Cheek Gelee! With great ingredients like coconut water, argan oil, and glycerin, my normally-dry skin actually looks vibrant and dewy (also a fan of the Poppy Paradise!). I’ve tried using it as a lip tint, but without much success. I’m so glad someone else is a huge supporter!

I also love these. i bought like 3 of poppy paradise because I do not want to be without this blush. Beyond fantastic and with lovely colors.

I love the Illamasqua Cream Blushers. They look wonderful on my skin. Very dewy and natural. The Josie Maran Coconut Watercolor Cheek Gelee is also amazing. Even during humid summer days, it stays on and looks quite fresh.

NARS all the way, for me. I have normal to dry skin, but I’ve never found a cream blush that I prefer over my powder blushes from that brand.

I’m also very fond of Maybelline’s cream mousse blush, but it’s sadly discontinued now. 🙁

I loved the dream mouse blushes! They were incredible. I bought a couple right before thy were discontinued. And the dream bouncy blushes aren’t as good in my opinion.

Otherwise I love my stila convertible lip and cheek color.especialu when I top it with a powder blush it really does last all day.

I’ve been warned away from the new line, so I’m not surprised to hear they’re subpar. I don’t know why they reformulated them to something less appealing. I’m still kicking myself for not picking up a backup for Soft Plum – it’s the only blush I’ve hit pan on!

I keep hearing great things about the Stila convertible color pans. I really might just give in and grab one eventually. One of my favorite fashion bloggers swears by them. 🙂

As someone with drier skin, I find it all comes down to what I’m wearing underneath. If I’m going for a dewier look, and forgoing powder, I like a cream blush. L’Oreal Magic Smooth is a good one. It’s also good on days I need to go heavier on moisturizer.

On days I wear powder, I find NARS blushes (and bronzers) to go on evenly, and not get patchy, as long as my foundation holds up over my moisturizer, which is where a good primer comes in.

Overall, I look for something that is high in pigment, and lower in talc, since I don’t have the natural oils for anything to adhere to, so baked formulas work well, too.

I like mineralized/baked blushes for the overall finish and versatility (Milani and MAC especially, but I’ll look into other brands). I adore La Femme because they STAY ON. Plus, they have many shimmer finishes available so I never look dry. Even their mattes look good! I don’t care for NARS blushes’ wear nor price, even though the colors themselves are nice. For cream blushes, honestly I don’t bother — I just use a sheer lipstick or a teeny bit of lipstick to use as a cream blush. There, easy peasy, no extra money spent to get the same result.

Although my skin is on the dry side, I still prefer powder blush because I seem to make a mess of my foundation when I apply cream blushes…I end up blending away the very coverage I need where I have some broken capillaries. But one “liquid” type blush I do like is, unfortunately, LE and it’s gone now – and that’s the Eclat Minute blush in Vitamin Pink from Clarins. Tarte’s powder blushes have such a beautiful finish, however, that I can’t imagine them being anything but great even on dry skin.

In my experience, I’ve found that Tarte’s Cheek Stains work really well for dry skin! The fact that they are a stain, leave the skin looking dewy and not flaky like some powder blushes do. Especially when it comes to dry skin!!

Stila Converitble Color. These creamy compacts are awesome for dry skin, plus they can be blended out to nothing if you are afraid of going to bright. There are so many colors available, they work on eyes, lips and cheeks. Truly a makeup artist must have!

Blush Creme de Chanel! I love cream blushes for dry skin, and this is the best formula I’ve tried. I have it in Inspiration, which is great on fair skin 🙂
