Hands down…Viva Glam Gaga! I absolutely have no idea why I purchased this. It is atrocious against my skin color.
Cheek product you regret purchasing?
MAC Azalea Blossom ombre blush. I just don’t use it often and again it makes my skin look ashy.
Your skin tone/coloring: Fair, cool-toned
Eye product you regret purchasing? Nars Cordura; I have many other shadows like the darker side and the “lighter” side is not an easy one for me to wear
Lip product you regret purchasing? MAC Twig; years ago, all my friends raved about it so I bought it; all my friends were blonde and warmer toned than I!
Cheek product you regret purchasing? Probably MAC Early Morning mineralized blush. I wish I’d got the pinker blush that came out at the same time; Early Morning has a gorgeous finish but it’s also a bit more warm/peachy than I like
Skintone/Coloring: Fairly light, very neutral; dark-featured.
Eye product: Too Faced eyeshadow palettes. They’re great products, but I just never reach for them. I have several, but I wish I would have used the money toward other products I discovewred after I bought them.
Lip product: MAC lipstick. Again, I’m not saying the quality is poor, and while I *love* the shades, they just take more effort than I want to make in order for them to feel comfortable on my lips. They don’t “sink” in the way I prefer my lipstick to, so I rarely touch them.
Cheek product: With the exception of what I get included in palettes/kits, I’m *extremely* particular about what I buy, so I have no regrets. I stay within a specific range, and because I never stray, I know what looks good before I buy. If I want to “experiment” with other shades, I have those those that came in palettes to play around with, but so far, I haven’t really found anything to make me part from the natural mauve/plum shades I’ve always preferred.

Cheek product you regret purchasing? MAC Powder Blush in Full of Joy. It looks horrible on me! 🙁
Full of Joy is one of my favorites! I even bought a second one. But I can understand, it only looks good on a rather narrow range of skin tones. It looks gorgeous and natural on me most of the time, bu if I get just a touch too pale, it turns bright pink instead.
Glad to hear it’s working for you, J. 🙂 The only way I can make Full of Joy look decent on me is to layer it on top of another blush, so it acts as a highlighter. 😀

■Eye product you regret purchasing? Burberry eyeshadows do not hold up well on my eye lids even with a primer. The two I have that melt off: Midnight Brown and Rosewood. le shame.
■Lip product you regret purchasing? Hourglass Lipstain in Petal. It dries out my lips really badly. Cracked/painful dry lips from one day of use.
■Cheek product you regret purchasing? I think my Nars Blushes break me out 🙁

Eye product you regret purchasing? : ELF eye primer and some random UD vintage eyeshadows that were chalky (like ecstasy and goddess)

Eye product you regret purchasing? Oof, Nars Tropic single eyeshadow. It looked so pretty – teal with sparkles! – but applies like total crap
Lip product you regret purchasing? Smashbox O-Glow Gold – it irritated my lips like crazy!
Cheek product you regret purchasing? Nars Orgasm – pretty, just not the right color for me

Eye product you regret purchasing? Too Faced Romantic Eye Palette. Most of the shadows are too cool for me.

Cheek product you regret purchasing? MAC Launch Away blush. I let the sales associate talk me into it, but it doesn’t really show up on my skin.
And to add in a Face product 😉 – (1) Tarte Smooth Operator Tinted mosisturizer (doesn’t last on my oily skin and (2) Hourglass Immaculate foundation (hate the finish, it doesn’t last, not enough coverage). I still have the Tarte, but returned the Hourglass.

WNW Nude Awakening palette. It’s not a bad product, I just have SO much stuff like it, I’ve probably only used it once since i got it.

Nyx Xtreme Lip Creams. I bought three of them in a sale. The formula is crap and all three look awful against my skin tone.

Sephora’s In The Glow Kit from last Christmas. I bought it for myself for my birthday but I’ve rarely used any of the products from it. I would have been better off buying one or two things that would have gotten a ton of use.
I’ve been kicking myself for not getting the Sephora In The Glow kit, but you’ve reminded me I wanted only 2 or 3 items. I love minis so much. The cuteness just gets to me.
Your skin tone/coloring: MUFE 115 (light skin with pink undertones)
Eye product you regret purchasing? Too faced shadow insurance. It separates and gets super oily, and my eyeshadow still creases with it on.
Lip product you regret purchasing? Sephora brand lipstick. It had uneven coverage and felt weirdly chalky.
Cheek product you regret purchasing? Nars orgasm. Only because theres so many dupes that are so much cheaper. Another one is benefit Watts up. I didn’t see a difference when I used it, so it was a useless product for me.
Skin tone: NW25/NC20-25
Eye product: Mac tarten Tale Pigments warm holiday collection ( love them but, the shimmer gets all over my face and it hard to remove all the fall out.)
Lip product: OCC Lip Tars Pro Picks LV.01 set ( I wanted because it was the most wearble shdes from the other two sets and because I wanted Stalker and Vintage. But it was a disappointment the two that I wanted maily were ok but the other barley show on my lips 🙁 .
Cheek product: MAC venemous Villans Beauty Powder In Brair Rose. Its been in my drawer for almost two three years now its been untouched. Only wore it two times as blush.

Eye product you regret purchasing? My latest Shiseido cream eyeshadow, but not because of the color. I just happened to get a bad one that was already hard and dried up when I opened it, and since you can’t return stuff here… Frustrating.
Lip product you regret purchasing? Lush’s Popcorn Lip Scrub. What was I thinking anyway? I don’t like popcorn…
Cheek product you regret purchasing? Maybe e.l.f.’s HD blush. Not sure why I never use it, but I don’t…
Your skin tone/coloring: Fair, cooler-toned. NW10/winter, NC/W15/summer.
Eye product you regret purchasing? Hmm…I’m more of a neutrals girl, so I admit I own a few colorful eyeshadows that probably don’t get the wear they deserve. I don’t regret buying them, but I’ve given several away just because I have friends who will give them more love.
Lip product you regret purchasing? I’ve pared down my collections occasionally just for upkeep, but the only product I’ve given away out of serious disilke was Maybelline’s lip stain. It was a gorgeous berry shade, but it dried out my lips like nothing else! My friend loves it, though, so for me, it was just my body reaction to the product.
Cheek product you regret purchasing? I love all of my blushes and highlighters equally. 😀
Your skin tone/coloring: light neutral
Eye product you regret purchasing? Cover Girl Exact Eyelights Eye Brightening collection for blue eyes (eyeshadow quad, eyeliner, & mascara); These were terrible! The shadows were not pigmented enough to show up, the brush was too large; the eyeliner was hard and pulled the skin across the lid plus the color was unflattering; the mascara was okay but I prefer black mascara over navy blue because I have dark hair
Lip product you regret purchasing? Sonia Kashuk Satin Luxe Lip Color with SPF 16 in Vivid Coral. While I like the color and the fact that it has SPF in it, the formula was horrible; It went on patchy and the lips pick it up when you move your lips giving you what I like to call “goop talk.” It’s also drying and clumps when your lips start to dry up.
Cheek product you regret purchasing? Maybelline Dream Bouncy Blushes in Rose Petal; The color is too sheer and does not show up at all even in winter when my skin is very fair. These blushes are hard to apply because you have to layer them a lot to get enough pigment or else they are splotchy looking
The new Maybelline cream blushes are a serious let down. I have no idea why they reformulated them to something so inferior to the old product. 🙁 I still have Soft Plum and the original Rose Petal, and they worse quite nicely on me!
Your skin tone/coloring: I think I’m MAC NW30-35. Or Revlons Natural Tan (still a bit too light). I’m more neutral.
Eye product you regret purchasing? It’s not so much a true regret, but I have a ton of MAC pigments I never use, and they are just sitting in my drawer…I should have just bought pan eyeshadows instead.
Lip product you regret purchasing? Revlon lipsticks in Candy pink, and In the Buff… barely applied as pressure to apply them and they broke. Nyx “diamond sparkle” lipstick Glitter ALL OVER the whole mouth area… chin to nose…How? I have no clue….
Cheek product you regret purchasing? Mac Mineralized Blush is some hotpink/purple blend… I can’t pull off a cool toned blush.

Eye product you regret purchasing? Benefit-“They’re Real” mascara…it was like tar on my lashes and just about as hard to take off.
Lip product you regret purchasing? Lip Venom (back in the day). I thought my lips were going to fall off they burned so bad!
Cheek product you regret purchasing? Illamasqua Cream Blush in Lies. Made my face a greasy mess. I have never had that issue with any other cream blush before.

Right there with you on They’re REAL!, which I got free since its the Sephora birthday gift. Ugh. How can people rave about it? Made my lashes spidery and really *not* pretty

Eye product you regret purchasing? Probably The balm and the beautiful palette. I just feel like the color combinations aren’t great and they don’t blend very well. I did however get it at a crazy discount so not too much to complain about.
Lip product you regret purchasing? The UD super saturated lip pencils. The colors are beautiful and they last nicely,but dear lord they dry out my lips like crazy…I’ll still use them though
Cheek product you regret purchasing? I remember swapping a mac blush away called “True Romantic” Beautiful color but every time I put it on Iooked like a crazy clown lady…

Eye product you regret purchasing? Palladio wooden pencil eyeliner.(They don’t really have a specific name.) I bought it because I had run out of my beloved BUXOM white automatic pencil liner, the ones in the silver tubes, which was a dreaaaaaaaam ~ The Palladio one was awful! >:( Super hard.
Lip product you regret purchasing? NYX Soft Matte Lip Creams in Amsterdam and Tokyo; love them, but Amsterdam isn’t very flattering (despite what people & NYX say, it looks orange-y on me!) nor is Tokyo but I love the color of Tokyo. Extra Round Lipstick in Strawberry Milk – just like Tokyo: love the color, but it just doesn’t look good.
Cheek product you regret purchasing? Erm… I’ve always kind of skipped on blush! I gave up on it sometime after I first started wearing makeup, just because I had no idea how to apply it properly so no regrets heehee

Eye product you regret purchasing? MAC Cranberry. It’s not that it is bad quality, I just don’t think the color works for me. I know there are ways to make it look pretty, but I just have so much red under my eyes, that I just never feel like taking the time to figure it out.
Lip product you regret purchasing? Josie Maran Argan Lip Treatment. It is so drying and smells like candy green apple. Plus the opening to the pot is so tiny, that if my nails are even slightly long, I get it all over.
Cheek product you regret purchasing? MAC Harmony. I had heard it is good to use as a contour for paler skins. Nope. It is way to warm based. It just looks like I forgot to wash my face for a month.

Sonia Kashuk’s eyeshadow quad in Shimmering Sands. It looked so beautiful but it lacks any sort of color pay off, isn’t buildable at all, and goes on very stiff. It’s also super sparkly but I was expecting that.

Sephora Collection’s Pastel Pop Jumbo Glossy pencil in Pink. Way too much glitter for me.

Eye product you regret purchasing?: Maybelline cream tattoo shadow in Tough as Taupe- i don’t know why i thought very cool color would look good on my very warm coloring. It made my makeup look in-congruent..
Lip product you regret purchasing:? Nars lip gloss in stolen kisses- too dark and brown; looked so different in store. And the L’Oreal Colour Riche Caresse Lacquer Lipglosses. They were nothing like the YSL glosses it was touted to be.
Cheek product you regret purchasing?:Any and all Highlighters. My very oily skin makes me glow enough, but with highlighters, I looked like a grease ball.

Eye product you regret purchasing? Sigma paris palette… did not like it!
Lip product you regret purchasing? Mac lipglasses, I don´t like the texture although I love Mac lipsticks.

Your skin tone/coloring: NW05 super pale with neutral-yellow undertones
Eye product you regret purchasing? MAC Semi Precious Eye Shadow in Golden Gaze. Against my skin it’s a very dark grey with subtle gold tones, not what I was expecting. Not to mention two days after I bought it, it fell down to the floor and the pretty color design got smashed 🙁
Lip product you regret purchasing? MAC Angel lipstick, it just doesn’t look good on me and it emphasized every line and flake on the lips.
Cheek product you regret purchasing? MAC In the Groove blush in Hang Loose, way too cool toned for me!

Eye product you regret purchasing? Nothing! I take a lot of care with my eye product purchases, as they tend to be pricier.
Lip product you regret purchasing? I didn’t do a lot of research like I do now so about a year ago I purchased the MAC Superglass in Superflash! at a CCO. The glitter is too big and chunky; it migrates, or it stays on your lips when the gloss wears off. Also very very sticky.
Cheek product you regret purchasing? I didn’t actually spend my own money on this (it was a gift), but I really regret owning the Tarte Cheek Stain in Blushing Bride. It has a very dry gel texture that takes a long time to set once applied. It’s sticky! So sad, because the color is a really pretty natural rosy berry.
Your skin tone/coloring: Very fair, neutral/slightly more pink undertones.
Eye product you regret purchasing? MAC eyeshadow in Twinks… I NEVER use this eyeshadow.
Lip product you regret purchasing? Benefit lipstick in Lady’s Choice… Great quality, colour just doesn’t suit me.
Cheek product you regret purchasing? NARS blush in Sin. Gorgeous colour, but I think I could’ve chosen a better blush for my skin colour.
Skin tone– Light, cool undertones, freckled
Eye product I regret– Too Faced Boudoir palette and Lorac Pro palette. Great colors, but they are SO powdery and it makes me rarely ever reach for them.
Lip product I regret– Maybelline Color Whispers. Very loved by many, but they are super drying on me!
Cheek product I regret– my NARS blushes. Great colors, but they wear off WAY too quickly on me.
Your skin tone/coloring: Fair, rosy brunette
Eye product you regret purchasing? MAC Archie Collection Veronica pallet. Such a cute case and such gorgeous colors in the pan, but on they are are powdery and uneven. It’s seriously one of the worst/most useless products I have ever purchased.
Lip product you regret purchasing? Unfortunately my first Lipstick Queen was a huge disappointment. I know that for many people these are holy grails products, for me Hot Rose Sinner won’t go on even acceptably without BOTH a lip liner, and application with a lip brush. There are so many great lipsticks out there now that provide serious pigmentation without being so difficult to wear that I can’t imagine why anyone would choose this product over competitors.
Cheek product you regret purchasing? Maybelline FIT ME Blush. I bought it because the peachy shade looked perfect, but out of the pan it’s a glitter explosion with uneven pigmentation upon application. Ick! I’ll stick to my Tare.
Your skin tone/coloring: MUFE 130 (medium light skin with beige pink undertones)
Eye product you regret purchasing?
Hmm. Urban Decay Eyeliner pencil in perversion – I really wanted to love it but it flakes and stains my contacts like crazy. Funny thing is that I hadn’t had any issues with the other 24/7 pencils.
Lip product you regret purchasing? Givenchy Rouge Interdit Satin Lipstick in pink mauve – it is too sheet and definitely not my color.
Cheek product you regret purchasing? Nars Blush in Dolce Vita – not my color, it looks very muddy on me ( I love the lip pencil, though).

◾Eye product you regret purchasing? MAC mineralize shadows-I keep hoping they’ll be better but they’re always dissappointing and I never use them
◾Lip product you regret purchasing? MAC lip scrub-separated in the squeeze tube and nothing would work to mix it back together I’d end up with what felt like oil all over my hands and no scrubbies
◾Cheek product you regret purchasing? To the Beach cream bronzers-no amount would show any kind of color on my skin

Cle De Peau Extra Rich Lipstick – T9 (Albertine): It was SO expensive and just didn’t live up to the hype… It’s super gritty~!!

Buxom True Hue Blush – Rendevouz: It’s a bit too cool toned on me… It also has a bunch of glitter in it.
Skin tone: Fair yellowish neutral
Eye product I regret: MAC Idol Eyes. I love the colour, and how it looks in the pan, but I hate the fallout. It’s such a tease…
Lip product I regret: Urban Decay Gravity and, to a lesser extent, 5150. They’re too sparkly and gritty, and just look immature on me. Also, Illamasqua Hermetic. I can’t figure out how to wear it without looking like I should change my name to Raven Darkness…
Cheek product I regret: NARS Dolce Vita, though this is more because I haven’t figured out how to wear blush at all, rather than a flaw of the product.

Fair/ light, neutral-cool (NC15/ NW15, Nars Mont Blanc/ Terre Neuve), black hair, blue-grey eyes
Eye product you regret purchasing?
Estee Lauder cream/ mousse shadow in SInister. Absolutely terrible. When I swatched it, it looked fantastic, but it crumbles within minutes on my eyes.
Lip product you regret purchasing?
I guess YSL Rouge Volupte, although I really wanted to try the formula, I couldn’t see anything redeeming in it. Smells awful. Dried my lips. Wore off very quickly. Feathered terribly. There are shades that I find difficult to work- St. Germain, Thrills, probably more that I’ve sent Back to Mac, but the RV was a disappointment on every level.
Cheek product you regret purchasing?
Mac Metal Rock. I got it at a very good price from someone who didn’t want theirs anymore, but I realise now that it was just a matter of wanting something because it looked so different- it takes work to make it look good on me, and the work that’s needed takes away it’s distinctiveness. Now I just feel guilty for owning something that’s such a cult favourite and giving it very little love.

MAC Fabulousness Smoky Eye Palette. I was sucked in by the cuteness, but it’s just not a good palette.
Lip product you regret purchasing?
Something like MAC Cyber. I adore deep colors, but since I’m very fair and my Goth phase ended years ago, I need to learn to pass them by.
Cheek product you regret purchasing?
Pretty much any bronzer. Summer rolls around and I’m tempted, but I am so fair, bronzers just look dirty/muddy on me.
■Your skin tone/coloring: Warm/Fair
■Eye product you regret purchasing? Chanel Mirifique and Illisoire. They’re beautiful and perform perfectly but they are too glittery for my old self. I gave them to my daughter with sadness.
■Lip product you regret purchasing? a Kiehls lipstick. I don’t like the texture or color
■Cheek product you regret purchasing? a Kiehls blush. It’s powdery and too light on my skin.
Skin tone: NW 35/ UD Naked Skin 7.0
Eye Product: I have a lot of eyeshadows that came in palettes that I’ll never use. Like the entire middle row of the UD 15th anniversary palette, lol. But I don’t regret purchasing it because I love all the other colors, and who knows, maybe I’ll get flashier as I age (!?) Also I have several Maybelline color tattoos that I wish I didn’t have. Like the taupe one (looks like clay) and the asphalt one, which I used to use as a base until I bought Nyx Jumbo pencil in Black Bean and saw the error of my ways.
Lip product: Revlon balm stain. Terrible product. The “balm” is a crappy chapstick and the stain barely lasts.
Cheek Product: So many. Nars Dolce Vita is too cool toned for me and makes my skin look muddy. Bought a kit with Benefit Coralista in it and it doesn’t show up on my skin. thebalm’s Hot Mama has way better texture and pigmentation and is basically the same color.
If anyone wants to swap/buy a barely used (and I mean barely… like three times) Dolce Vita let me know haha.

Eye product you regret purchasing? Maybelline Megaplush Mascara, a huge dissapointment to me.

Eye product you regret purchasing? A Shiseido e/s trio of 3 different purples. Only the lightest shade translates onto the lid… It may be a dud though as when I’d swatched them they all looked great 🙁
Lip product you regret purchasing? NARS Dolce Vita lipstick, which I loved at first but now find too ‘lightweight’ against my lips’ coloring. Also the wear could be better.
Cheek product you regret purchasing? Lush’s Emotional Brilliance in Croire, which can also be used on the lips. However I find it too greasy for the cheeks and too dry for the lips.

NC15-20. Light yellowish olive skin tone, dark brown hair, brown eyes.
eyeproducts: Some Essence eyeshadows. E. g. I like their cream liner but the grey shadow it comes with is rubbish. Dark pink, mauve eyeshadow (e. g. some from Everyday Minerals.) A fake Nude ‘Tude palette from Amazon.
Lip: Revlon Red Velvet Lip Butter. I look like a clown in it. And some other similar colored reds. (I think Revlon Wine with Everything, or something like that.)
Cheek: A bronzer/blush from Rimmel. Disappeares really quickly. I only have three blushes (2 from Catrice, 1 from NYX, love them all and plan to purchase more.) I also have a highlighter from Catrice that I hardly ever use as such and it’s great!
I forgot, the NYX black eyeshadow. Fallout city! Also some ULTA automatic eyeliners. not smooth at all!
Your skin tone/coloring: Very fair, neutral/ cool toned
Eye product you regret purchasing? Definitely NARS Larger than Life eyeliner in Via Vento (black). It’s super dry and you have to really tug at your skin to apply it. I only swatched it on my hand as I’m afraid to put it on my eyes.
Lip product you regret purchasing? Revlon Colorburst lipsticks. I bought a couple and I had an allergic reaction to them. Such a shame because they are gorgeous and hydrating.
Cheek product you regret purchasing? None. I don’t buy a ton of cheek products. And I do my research before purchasing. 🙂

Eye product you regret purchasing? A bunch of brightly coloured MAC Paint Pots I hardly wear, Bobbi Brown Peony & Python palette, Urban Decay palettes where I already owned most shades.
Lip product you regret purchasing? None in particular – probably just more lipglosses than I will be able to use up.
Cheek product you regret purchasing? Warm-toned MAC MSFs like Warmed and Shooting Star.

Eye product you regret purchasing? Hard candy Lengthening mascara, in the blue colour. It’s probably my fault that I waited a few months after purchasing to open it because I didn’t want it to dry out. BUt when I opened it, it exploded everywhere so I never even got to use it. : [
Lip product you regret purchasing? Most recent one, Cover Girl Jumbo Gloss Balm (Watermelon Twist). Main complaint is it smells and tastes like plastic. Also I don’t find it moisturizing in the least, if the lips are even a little chapped it will just emphasize that and dry them out more. Worst part is that I noticed some of these things by trying out the tester in the store and bought it anyway. Fail. Also, have not been having much luck with the OCC lip tar in Hush.
Cheek product you regret purchasing? Maybelline Bouncy Blush but not because I think it’s a bad product (the one I got was pretty pigmented), but I don’t reach for it often. I think it works well as something for the makeup bag, actually, because it’s small and works in a pinch if I run out of the house without blush on. Also Hard Candy baked blush in Honeymoon is just too light for a blush so I rarely use it, but works somewhat as a highlighter.
Skin Tone: NC 42 (yellow undertones)
Eye product regret purchasing? The tones of mascara I bought because they all smudge by the end of the day. Should have invested in a good eyelash primer first.
Lip product regret purchasing? MAC Party Parrot…..it is waaaaay to bright for me!!!
Cheek product I regret purchasing? NYX cream blushes…..they just don’t last on me.
Skin tone: light, nc20 warm or neutral undertones
Eye product: any original maybelline eyeshadow
Lip product: mac dazzleglass in love alert, beautiful color….. But overpriced and only lasted me 2 months
Cheek product: the e.l.f. Studio blush in ticked pink…. To shimmery/glittery
Skin Tone: between NC40 and NC 44, depending on season but with some pink too
Eye product regret: MAC’s Temperature Rising Quad – three shades blend straight into my skin, with or without primer
Lip product – Tons. I have find more unwearable lip products than wearable. Ex: l’Oreal Colour Riche LeGloss, MAC’s Temperature Rising collection, anything with a plumper (advertised or not). They all literally burn my skin. There are other brands or lines that may be drying, or look differently on than expected, but it is the ones that burn that truly scare me.
Blush: MAC’s Immortal Flower – too pale on me
Your skin tone/coloring: Very fair with warm undertones.
Eye product you regret purchasing? I have so many colourful eyeshadow palettes and only ever use the more neutral shades in them. I guess they may come in handy if I’m ever dressing up for a theme party or something, but I’d never use them on a daily basis.
Lip product you regret purchasing? Any light pink-toned lipstick (MAC Angel and Hue look super terrible on me).
Cheek product you regret purchasing? Too Faced Sun Bunny Bronzer, this stuff is so dark! What was I thinking?
