my all time fave is EL mascara Projectionist…but right now, I am loving Maybelline Collosal Mascara…amazing product for a very low price 😀

I *ADORE* Fiberwig mascara!! It does exactly what it says it will and make thin lashes look thicker and gives them insane length. I’d marry it if i could 🙂

I work in beauty retail and get to try new mascaras whenever there is one out – whether it be a gratis tube or just trying it out on my own, and this is the only mascara that I will always use. I’m a big lash girl, even though mine are short, stubby, sparse, and grow straight. This gives me long (I can get them to hit my brow bone), dark, defined, seperated, non-clumpy, fan of lashes. It’s not going to win any awards for its thickening, so I always follow it up with a thickening mascara – lately Bourjois volume clubbing, Lash Blast, or Loracs visual effects (dark side). Perfection!

i gotta say that i keep changing between: Rimmel Sexy Curves full volume and curve mascara, and, Maybelline XXL Curl Power. these are 2 of my faves cos i’ve got quite sensitive eyes, and neither of them cause me any irritation!

I was really tyring to avoid getting hooked on highend mascara because of the short life span, but i really love Diorshow blackout, and is it me or does it smell incredibly good for a mascara?

YSL Everlong

Expensive but that’s just…. just the best of the best mascaras I’ve used in my life (Chanel Exceptionnel is also very good but not as spectacular as this one). Everlong makes doll lashes, super long, separate, with lots of volume. Exactly as if I was wearing falsies. Awesome. With that mascara, my lashes stay supple and ultra comfortable, it’s easy to remove it.

I wanted to try a mac mascara but I love Everlong so much I’m afraid to be disappointed.

Yup, me too. I’ve gone through several of these! I don’t really like the waterproof one, but I don’t like to use waterproof mascara in general… the regular works great for me!

I love the Maxfactor False Lash Effect! I have really long lashes myself but this mascara makes them even longer! they look like their fake!

Sabrina Avatar

Diorshow Iconic Extreme waterproof in black. It lengthens and volumizes significantly more than any other mascara out there. Even Lashblast.

Right now I’m loving Rimmel London Sexy Curves. I love the shape of the wand. I get curled lashes and volume, and the little bulb shape at the end of the wand lets me reach tiny lashes, too!

Miss_M Avatar

At the moment I really like Maybelline Define-A-Lash. It has a good brush and it doesn’t clump and flake like a lot of other mascara’s do.

angeLven Avatar

my current favorite is L’oreal’s Beauty Tubes. Easy to apply, doesn’t smudge, and easy to remove. Here in the Philippines it’s more expensive than a MAC mascara.

Manda Avatar

I go through mascara phases but right now I like.. MAX FACTOR VOLUME COUTURE, Maybelline Volum Express and Rimmel Sexy Curve haha

Since my lashes are naturally long and dark, it was so hard to find a mascara that didn’t make my lashes look fake or spidery, Clinique’s Naturally Glossy Mascara in jet brown is my go to mascara for everyday fullness with a natural look.

It is a bit expensive for my tastes, but I tend to use it up way before the 6 month deadline. For nights when I do want a big false lash look, I just layer MAC Zoomlash on top, it’s clump free for me and it gives great volume with curl.

Fav Mascaras:
MAC Dazzlelash. I love the way it separates my lashes like Betty Boop.
CG: Exact lights(Rihanna one) I love how it curls and lengths my lashes. It makes them look naturally gorgeous.

Bourjois volume glamour noir ébène

it’s been 3 years now

I got to try some Dior Iconic Eyes, during a Dior makeup, but was not that impressed, so..

Michelle Avatar

I have really loved the Cover Girl Lash Blast and Cover Girl Exact Lights. I want to try Loreal Voluminous in Carbon Black since I have heard so many makeup artists swear by it . . .

Vness_12 Avatar

Using Max Factor (calorie something) mascara right now which works well. But my favorite is Benefit BadGal Lash. will be buying some once the max factor is finished.

Brenda Avatar

Almay One Coat Nourishing mascara.. cruelty free, safe for sensitive eyes/contacts. Dries nice, good consistency. Short handled brush makes it easy to twirl the brush and reach every single lash!!

Anneh89 Avatar

Maybelline Define-A-Lash in the waterproof one. I have short, poker-straight lashes, this holds the curl pretty well and doesn’t clump 😀

Neela Avatar

DiorShow Blackout. Makes my lashes thick and up to my eyebrows. I get asked if they’re my real lashes.

Do like MAC Mascara X for my bottom lashes

Allison Avatar

My fave drugstore brand is Maybelline Lash Stiletto and my more expensive mascara fave is Benefit’s BADgal Plum. It’s really pretty on my blond eyelashes.

Martha Avatar

I’m loving Chanel Inmitable mascara in black. my HG would be lancome flextencils. but i’m planning to change to make chanel my hg. it’s just so good! My cheap bet would be maybelline’s colossal mascara. 🙂

tremorviolet Avatar

Max Factor 2000 Calorie for everyday. It’s pretty much the only commercially available auburn mascara out there. I’m a pale redhead and blacks and even dark browns look too harsh on me. For evening, I go ahead and use Diorshow Blackout for drama.

I used to be so loyal to L’oreal Shocking Volume, but I’ve been branching out. the Phenomen’eyes is pretty darn good, but the torture ball wand makes it kind of a PITA to apply – too much work for that early in the am.
I tried Sephora Atomic Volume – which is actualy quite good. the brush takes a bit getting used to, but if you can get past that, it’s a nice solid mascara that builds lots of length, volume, and color.
Right now I’m using a Shu Uemura mascara (I forget which one) and it’s pretty nice. It’s very dark, it does a nice job thickening, but not so hot on the lengthening front (I was specifically looking for a thickening mascara though). The only problem is, even though it’s not a waterproof mascara, it is a bear to remove with regular cleanser (I don’t use eyemakeup remover prior to washing my face), and I feel like there’s still some mascara left on my lashes. Maybe for someone who is more fastidious about using eye makeup remover it won’t be a problem. It does stay put during those monthly crying jags, which I guess is a good thing!

The best mascara I have ever tried has been LORAC Visual Effects in Black. It has this unusual 4 sided comb that is shaped like an hourglass, but it makes my lashes very dark and lush. Plus this mascara never smudges or kills my curl. I love it!

Vanessa Avatar

Cover Girl Lash Exact is my first & only love… I’ve tried so many others but always go back to this! I recently tried BE Buxom.. I didn’t like it so much.

margot Avatar

I’m into natural these days so MAC X for me, in black and brown (depending of the day). I’ve been watching a lot of gossip girl these days and found myself loving the Blair preppy look :p clothes and makeup 🙂 so I’m going in that direction

Mara Avatar

The only mascaras I currently own are UD Big Fatty (the one I reach for 9 times out of 10), MAC Dazzlelash (I like how this one separates and defines each individual lash), and MAC Splashproof Lash (which I rarely use… bought it for my wedding because I needed something waterproof!!)

I’m lucky to have long, thick lashes, so I’ve never really pored over mascaras. I think I’d like to try something with a curved wand, because I’m usually too lazy to bother with curling! LOL

Amber Avatar

MUFE Smoky Lash is an all time favorite, but right now I’m really enjoying Cover Girl’s Lash Blast!! No clump….ever! It makes you look light you have such thick lashes. The downside: adds zero length…..

Rani Avatar

Lash Blast is still Number 1!..Every time I think I will find something better, I don’t ..and keep comin back. I also love Loreal Extend Tubes ( I think that’s what it’s called)

Christina Avatar

i have a couple- estee lauder projectionist
chanel exceptionnel de chanel
estee lauder magnascopic
philosphy big, gorgeous eyes

Vern Avatar

I love Maybelline Define-a-Lash ( no clumping and lashes looking full and extended)and Maybelline Full and Soft (natural look… loves it).

Catherine Avatar

Heroine Kiss Me Long & Curl mascara – you can find it at Japanese markets like Mitsuwa or Marukai. It’s fantastic! It lengthens, defines and curls beautifully, it typically doesn’t stick my lashes together unless I get a huge gob of it, AND it stays in place PERFECTLY until I take it off.

Rita Avatar

I just ordered two mascaras from Japan, one from Kanebo Kate (Dollish Long Mascara) and another from Canmake (Curling Jet Mascara). They both are great since they do not budge. I hate every mascara that leaves any kind of black marks under my eyes, which happens with most mascaras. And I do not even wear mascara on my lower eyelashes.

Saira Avatar

I love Loreal Lash Architect in Carbon Black. I’ve been using it for ages and always have back-ups, which shows it must be good – I don’t always buy a make-up product again and again unless I really like it. It makes my eyelashes really long, thick and dramatic.

I recently bought Maybelline Lash Stiletto and it’s becoming a new favourite! The first time I used it, I wasn’t too impressed but thought I’d give it another try and I’m really glad I did! It makes my eyelashes really long, with a good curl and good volume. Think it maybe just took me a while to get hold of the brush, as it’s a little thinner than I’m used to.

Ms Trendy Avatar

drugstore brand: Loreal Double Extend Beauty Tubes – its awesome and comes off with warm water its a little scary because you think your lashes are falling off but you get used to it! No need for an eyemakeup remover when i use it. really lengthens and doesnt clump.

MAC Dazzlelash

I also like Too Faced Lash Injection but havent used it in a while – it tends to dry out faster than other brands dont know why i guess its the formula itself.
