Red is the one color I usually wear a cream finish when I do wear it. I am very warm toned and reds can be tricky for me sometimes. I do have a red shimmer. Essie’s After Sex, which leans quite pink red on me but I like it in the summer.

I love China Glaze Ring in the Red. My favorite shimmery, glowy red nail polish is Butter London’s Knees Up. It’s sooooo pretty.
I’m wearing Essie’s Size Matters today and it may be my new favourite red. Such a great formula, too.
My favorite holiday red is Zoya’s Sarah. A beautiful, sparkly blue-red.
I have to say this is one area in which being from London is advantageous – the ultimate ruby slippers nail polish is by the UK brand Barry M!
Hands down China Glaze Ruby Pumps!
I asked a laquerhead friend about topcoats so I could wear this fantastic chartreuse-y glitter stuff; Boy, has nail polish changed!! A real manicure isn’t a huge time drain/ mess anymore!
China Glaze Ruby Pumps; Slightly darker than these and a bit bluer red. The glitter really pops. I’m re doing it as I read.
