The tip about dipping the pencil liner into the gel is BRILLIANT! I'll be trying that one, awesome.

Very Nice Tutorial for smoky eyes. Thanks to Christine.

by the way what are your tips for nice looking brows? you have really nicely shaped brows but mine never have the shape. what are your tips for shaping brows via tweezers? thank you and i love your website keep up the good work!

Hi Celeste, I actually really recommend seeing a professional once for shaping. Find someone with a good reputation (you can try looking on Yelp!) who has an eye for shape, and then have them do it (whether you have them wax, thread, pluck, it doesn't matter). Go home, take photos, so you can remember... but then maintain them yourself. I get mine threaded once or twice a year at this point, and I may not even go back, LOL, since I can just maintain. I pluck every 2-3 days any stray hairs outside the shape. You can use small scissors to trim any ultra long brow hairs, too. While you can do them yourself, it's always so risky. I found it SO worthwhile to get mine professionally threaded (and it was like $8) and perfectly shaped.

wow that tip for the fluidline is amazing! i never thought of that!

It's one of my favorite tips to share! Something I actually discovered on my own (though I know others have discovered it on their own, too!).

thanks so much for that awesome tip! I tried it today and it was so easy. Whenever I use an angled brush or flat eyeliner brush to apply my fluidline, I always wind up getting smudges on my contacts (and then it's SO hard to clean it off).

No problem, Viv! So happy it worked for you!

That video is stellar! Absolutely amazing quality! May I ask what kind of camera you're using??? :-) Thanks!

Thank you, Heather! :) It's actually a pretty low-budget cam - the Sony Webbie, LOL. I figured I can't justify a big, bad camera til I stick with videos for longer than a few weeks!

Well, you blew my socks off! Seriously, that quality is really really good - it does great close-ups! I can't wait for more!!!

AWW! You are too kind, Heather. Thank you :D

Thanks Christine for your videos. They are very helpful. Now I exactly see where you place your shadows and what brushes are used. You are wonderful! Can you also do a tutorial on how you apply your foundation, concealer and blush?

Thanks, Millie! Oh yeah, foundation has already been filmed, and it just went up. Blush goes up tomorrow! Haven't done one on concealer yet, but we'll see :)

I love using Typographic for smokey looks :) nice vid!
