You know, all your looks are starting to get the same. I don’t ever see you do anything different, same technique, just different colors. Why don’t you try something dramatically different. No offense, but i used to love watching your videos, and now I don’t really care to check them out, because they are just like the one before that, and the one before that. I don’t mean to be rude, just stating my opinion.
If you want to see really dramatic looks, I’d definitely suggest checking out Petrilude — he does amazing looks that are very fun and dramatic! I am more about playing with different colors and products to wear them in my everyday life
If you don’t like my style or enjoy watching my videos, it’s all good.
Thanks for replying. I take it that your referral to Petrilude was a bit sarcastic. I was talking about beauty looks, not dramatic and costume makeup. As a long time supporter or yours, I guess I was just trying to suggest that you expand a little in the way that you aplly makeup, so your supporters would continue staying with you. I also noticed that you get quiet short with people who say anything against what you might say. That is definitely not the way to keep viwers around.
No… it wasn’t sarcastic at all – Petrilude does amazing work and if you were looking for more dramatic looks, he is definitely the person to go to, which is why I suggested it
You could go somewhere else
Even if you don’t mean to be offensive, it’s pretty rude to come to Christine’s site which you use free of charge and criticise her for running her blog and doing her makeup the way she wants to. She’s not anyone’s makeup artist or personal shopper.
Christine, this is the first video tutorial of yours I’ve watched. You sound totally different from what I imagined! In my mind, you have a French accent (Why, I don’t know).
LOL! Keep pretending I have a French accent! *imagines* I sound way better that way, LOL!
“Moi moi moi moi, Cle de Peau, moi moi phwaugh!”
Haha!!
Oh-my, all the girls here in Brazil are posting brazilian flag inspired in their blogs, and now even you?! Haha, I really liked this one!
Yay! Glad you liked it, Leticia!
The last comment i put on the birthday make up video is still in moderation! i’m sure its just an oversight but i thought i’d mention it. I enjoyed this video, lovely colours. i find it funny to see your eye moving when you are talking when you can’t see the rest of your face.
I’m WAY WAY behind on comments! Working now for the next few hours to get through ‘em
Thank you!!
I never know where to look, LOL, so I guess that’s why it moves!
the downside to being so popular! was debating writing this as i have given you another comment to moderate! LOL
No worries – comments are the best part about blogging – all the interaction, whether good or bad
It is all helpful!
Koko, wow!
Christine, I visit your site daily, in fact -several times a day, and I absolutely love everything you post. Your makeup is _always_ beautiful, and not only are you super creative and very artistic, but you do what you do with poise and humour -good on ya!
I’ll always be a huge supporter of yours, and will continue to enjoy your video tutorials
Thanks, Daria! I appreciate your support
I do try to consider all comments, but positive and negative, and I’m always constantly looking at ways to fulfill specific requests when and where I can! I’m happy to hear you enjoy the site and the tutorials!
Wow, that is GORGEOUS!!! you are so pretty.
Thanks, Athena!
