Video Makeup Tutorial: Stream of Consciousness

This is a tutorial, but it’s also more about me going through the process of using just two eyeshadows, not loving the result, and trying to work it into something I did like.  Not everything always turns out according to what we envision, and sometimes, it may not even be perfect at the end, but each time we do something, it’s just part of the learning process!

  1. i was actually really excited to see this video show up! ever since i saw the look and read your description i was looking forward to seeing how you worked your way through something like this! (just two eyeshadows? that’s madness!) lol! it was a fun video to watch too – even if it wasn’t my most favorite look you’ve ever done, watching and listening to you work through it was interesting and humerous! :)

i also love that you use that 239 for like, everything! haha! it’s like watching me with a 242 brush (it’s a habit i’m trying to break actually!)

    thanks for posting this!

    • Why own so many eyeshadows if one is only going to use them two or three at a time?!?! Don’t see why we should limit ourselves, LOL!

I live for the 239! I used to just get by with one, but now I have 5, and I always want more…

Christine! You’re hilarious hahah. Couldn’t stick with 2 colours, but I actually really like how this look turned out. You have a way of making everything work.

That actually looks really lovely on you! I think that sometimes, when you just “wing it”, you can end up with a really great look that you would not have normally put together… I’m gonna go play with my makeup?!
