I have tried and tried and tried again but I simply can NOT master the technique of applying liquicd black eyeliner on my upper lid to achieve that retro look. It drives me crazy! It always comes out awful no matter how much I follow directions. I think I just need someone to do it for me.
that retro look with liner is EASY with a cream liner (L’Oreal HIP or Fluidline from MAC) and an angled brush.
Cream liner + angled brush does make it way easier!
Aww, Amethyst! It takes lots and lots of practice
It can be tough! Have you tried the 266 brush?
the perfect way to apply blusher!!
Oh man, this is sooo hard, Sophia! It takes a lot of practice!
tightlining my eyes and make symmetrical wing eyes. oh and how to contour cheeks. I’ve seen enough tutorial but still not convinced that i actually have cheekbones.
It’s so tough to get both eyes to look exactly the same
Red Lipstick. I’ve tried multiple shades. Warm red. Cool red. I can’t seem to find one that looks good on me. Which sucks because I would so love to rock that look.
Ditto! I have a gorgeous MAC Russian Red which I know looks good on me, but I haven’t got up the courage to wear it and own it.
Aww, you should wear it since you KNOW it looks good on you!
Oh, Trisha… you will find the right shade someday!
Liquid Liner!
Ohh, the trials of liquid liner!!
smokey eye!
i can never do this…makes me look like i have a black eye.
Hey Evo! Aww, just keep trying
Blending.
At least this one just takes lots and lots of practice! I know you’ll get it down!
A perfect liquid lined eye.
Good luck, Sadie! I’m sure you’ll be able to master it!
I think Blush,i always wanted to apply the rite way and always i go lile off direction.I know its kinda weird and a shame for me,bt its the fact,GOOD LORD HELP ME SOMEDAY!!
Zzainy…
lol, I know what you mean, blush is so tricky!! It still gets me sometimes!
Contouring the cheeks!
Have you tried, Leigh?
Blush and contouring im always afraid ill end up over doing it and can never seem to get it to look even so i hardly ever use it and when i do use it i make sure i use a natural color that hardly shows.
Aww, Lisa!! Just keep on practicing
You’ll find a good level that works for ya.
I’d love to be able to figure out how to put on foundation so it looks like I’m not wearing any…is that even possible?
Hey Shayla! It is possible. You just need the right foundation and primer, plus technique.
Liquid liner and false eyelashes. It takes me about half an hour to get false eyelashes on nicely -___-
you and me both Vinna
I am horrid at liquid liner and false lashes…..gggrrrrrr and I so want to be able to not even master but just do a passable job on both!! AGH
I’m terrible at false lashes! Join the club!
OMG, me too, Vinna. Only it’s a half hour per EYE.
How to contour cheeks that looks natural. I’d like to say liquid eyeliner too but I don’t really like putting eyeliner on my upper eyelids coz my eyes are deepset and I have a fat crease lol.
Hey Janis! Have you practiced contouring a lot? Once you find the right shade for you, it’s all gravy from there!
Also, smoky eyes. My eyes aren’t almond-shaped, so doing them so I don’t look like a sleepy panda is a little difficult :-/
I want to master matching blush colors to my skin tone! I have dark skin and I can never tell which blushes will make me too like a dollar store baby doll.
Hey Clover! Practice, practice, practice! That’s all I can say.
Eyebrows!!!
What are you having trouble with, Vee?
The cat eye!
Have you tried it, Robin? It takes some practice, but I know you can do it!
Plenty of times– it always looks better when they do it! (of course) But I’ll keep trying, and i just read your cat eye tutorial- thanks, maybe that will help!
lol, the grass is always greener, right?
OMG, how to make blush look *perfect*- it drives me crazy trying to find the perfect shade and how to get it on so it looks natural, glowy; not clownish. Ah, the quest continues…
lol, it’s such a hard technique to master
