BNeverTooBusyToBeBeautiful’s Kohl is perfect for the waterline! It’s never failed me yet!

I like Makeup Forever Aqua Eyes, they are waterproof.

set it with eyeshadow

I don’t. Feline stays on me, for the most part, but when it goes, it just migrates into my lower lash line and stays there so it’s not so much of an issue.

I love how long kohl lasts; all day long without re-application =D
I used to wear kohl powder for my performances. It is a little difficult to apply the kohl powder, there is a ton of fall out, no mater how careful you are applying it.

If I use an eyecrayon I put some eyeshadow in the same color over it. It’s like with liquid foundation, you seal it with powder. It work great..

Alas I have given up LOL, I just use a liquid eyeliner

Good question…i would love to know.
I use blacktrack fluid line but that too does not stay put either.
Thursday, September 25, 2008
i don’t even bother putting anything there anymore :(

I use Guerlain’s Terracotta Loose Kohl – it usually lasts about 8-10 hours on my waterline!

I dab Feline into my creamliner and apply it. This mixture stays on my waterline for several hours. (Yep, I got this from your tut, thanks for that! ;))

i usually use a pencil dipped in fluidline or loreal hip cream eyeliner, and it stays pretty well. i’ve been using the Styli Style Line and Seal 24 hour liners…they stick around pretty good! I want to try the black one on my waterline and see how she stays.

I’ve been using Sephora’s new Eyeliner Last. I line my waterline and put the liner last underneath the waterline (under my lower lashes). It has totally fixed the running eyeliner problem and makes my liner stay all day. I don’t think you can use it directly on the waterline, but lining below has totally worked for me!
My other new love – Urban Decay’s 24/7 eyeliner pencils. Amazing and don’t budge until I take off my makeup at night!

I wipe it dry (softly, of course, i don’t want to scratch at it!!!) with a soft tissue. Then i smudge the tip of my waterproof eye pencil ( Mostly i use MUFE’s aqua eyes) and glide it across. This way the pencil has a dry surface to adhere to, versus a slicky wet messy waterline that usually makes you need a couple of passes of the pencil, in turn irritating the eye area. . .

i use the blacktrack fluidline by mac then i use graphblack technakohl liner over it. it stays on me for hours.
using the fluidline isn’t safe for the waterline because there’s alcohol in it but i love using it there, it makes my eye color pop. =)

I do the opposite :) I dip my graphblack into blacktrack and apply it. It stays put until I take it off!

I use fluidline and then usually intensify it with a pencil liner. Works well and is the only thing that doesn’t budge on me! Even the UD 24/7 wear off, not as much as MAC liners but Fluidline is the only thing I’ve found that doesn’t move at all!

HIP CREAM LINER. i swear it stays on the waterline like cement. people seriously need to try this, it’s ridiculous how well it works. its 10x better than blacktrack or any pencil ive tried

Fluid Line works pretty good for me, but I’m going to try some of these others for sure.

Urban Decay 24/7 normally last up to 4 hours for me & I don’t mind reapplying it. If I set it with shadow my eyes water like crazy!

Bobbi Brown gel liner, usually, or Feline Kohl Power pencil. I use other colors and formulas on occasion, but I get the best results from those two. For times when I really need my liner to stick like glue (dance performances, mainly), I use Liquidlast liner, but it can be a bit problematic to apply and hard to get off so I don’t use it too often…

I really only line my waterline when I go out at night, so if it fades a bit, I don’t really care. Alot of the time if I line my waterline I also line my upper waterline (tight lining, whatever its called). That way I find it lasts longer.

Urban Decay 24/7 Glide-On eye Pencils.. in Zero =] My one true love!

technakohl stays on for hours and was formulated for the waterline. my biggest problem is not the waterline but the outer corners because my eyes water alot. benefit’s shelaq is my fav for sealing liner, shadow or mascara but is not for the waterline.

Sephora Flashy Waterproof pencils are the only thing I have tried that are impossible to get off your waterline once you apply it. Better than MUFE Aqua eyes and UD 24/7, plus really cheap. I find the Sephora liner a little smudgy, so keep it sharp or you could get eyeliner where you don’t want it. I just chill it in the fridge or freezer before sharpening. Best $8 I have ever spent on eyeliner!

THE ONLY THING THAT STAYS FOR ME IS THE LOREAL HIP CREAM LINER ON THE BOTTOM…WHICH I JUST DAB ON BECAUSE IT CAN BE TOO MUCH LOL DON’T LIKE THAT LOOK…I ALSO LOVE MAKEUP FOREVER AQUA EYES…I JUST PURCHASED MAC POWERPOINT…STILL DIDN’T STAY ON :(

Guerlain Kohls :) Nothing stayed on my waterline until I found these. I have watery eyes and most liners dont stay on for more than literally 20 minutes. The kohls stayed on even when I took a shower and washed my hair! (of course it smeared a little bit, but still!) HG!

Oh My, that sounds like an amazing product! ;O

I use eye drops before doing my make up if I think I might put something on my water line. It’s very rare for me to do so because my water line is super sensitive. When I’m actually prepping I use a little bit of UDPP on the water line.

I use a black eyeshadow in the waterline and eyeliner outside of it. Weird enough the black eyeshadow stayed put all night (and even into the next morning the time I got really drunk and fell asleep on the couch :P) on the waterline, while I’ve had waterproof eyeliners bleed even when away from the line.

PENCIL- for the more expensive pencil- MUFE AQUA EYES!! they work soo well and lasts like basically forever. i can fall asleep in my make-up, and it will not be smeared at ALL.
cheaper pencil- JORDANA COLOR XTEND EYELINER. basically the same as aqua eyes, but cheaper! ok so I can put it on the night before.. and wake up with it looking exactly the same.. its crazy!! unfortunately, its discontinued, but you can get it HERE: http://www.bestbeautyonline.com/colorextendeyeliner.asp
my favorite technique to do to get eyeliner to stay on my waterline is just set it with some eyeshadow, and it will for sure last MUCH MUCH longer than if you didn’t put eyeshadow on top.

Thanks for all the tips. I’m going to try some different things because even the 24/7 liners don’t stay put on my waterline. I’m going to try the Sephora liners and the HIP Cream liner (I just bought one, but haven’t used it yet).

The ONLY eyeliner I have ever tested to be the most durable, is Indelible Waterproof Gel Liner from StudioDirect.
It stays put on any part of the eye area, even on the waterline of your upper lashes too. (stings a bit, but well worth the look)
You can sleep, sweat, cry and it wont smudge or run out.
Says on the package: Line and define better than ever before. This highly-pigmented, waterproof, smudge-proof, long-wearing gel eyeliner will glide on smooth and precise. Apply with eyeliner brush.
I tried to wash it off with hot water, soap and spunge from my hand. The brush must be cleased after each use, as it dries stiff. Can only be removed with oil-based makeup removers made for waterproof makeup, like Helena Rubinstein or Lancome, All Mascaras.
Comes in a wide range of colors. Good luck girls.
