Do you wear perfume everyday or only on special occasions? If you limit it to special occasions, why so? If you wear it everyday, do you have certain scents that you save for special occasions?

I’m 16, and a perfume addict. I used to use my Chanel No. 5 to school daily last year, till my friends (who have no interest in beauty whatsoever) told me I smelled bad.. And that it resembled like Johnsons’ baby powder.
I started alternating between Ralph Lauren Sport for Women and Elizabeth Arden’s Green Tea perfume ever since then.

I usually wear “lighter” scents everyday…like body mist versions of perfume. I work in a small office and some people are sensitive to strong scents. But I do save certain scents for special occassions.

Oh yeah, everyday :) I oscillate between a French perfume Soliel (from Fragonard, a french company) and the So? Inspired perfume. For special occasions (or when I want to cheer me up) I resort to my favourite - Hugo Boss Femme!

I try to wear perfume every day, but sometimes I can’t because my sinuses are easily irritated :( I have perfumes for day and different ones for going out in the evening. Any I only have samples of are special occasion ones to me and I only wear my Escada perfumes on sunny spring/summer/early fall days.

I usually do, my perfume of choice would be light and floral scents like Lancome’s So Magic or Chanel Chance En Fraiche. At night, I tend to go with Ghost, Deep Night in it’s pretty crescent shaped bottle!

I don’t wear fragrance to work - I forget to put it on and some people are more sensitive to smells - don’t want to start an allergy attack for anyone! I’ll put it on when I go out on weekends, and when I do it’s normally a very light floral or an aquatic scent. I love Missoni Aqua, Aqua di Gio, Escada Into the Blue. For a floral, I like Creed’s Spring Flowers.

every day :) i used to only wear one “signature” scent, but i tend to get bored easily so i started buying lots of smaller bottles of different scents that i like, and now i try to wear something different every day.
this has been my perfume schedule this week:
Mon: Dior Addict Shine (new fave)
Tues: Comptoir Sud Pacifique Vanille Abricot (my new love interest says it smells like “hot girl”, whatever that means)
Wednesday: Christian Lacroix for Avon Rouge (dupe of Cartier Delices)
Thursday: MAC MV2 (favorite MAC creation)
Friday (today): Marc Jacobs (the original, my all-time favorite scent!)

Almost every day, unless my allergies are acting up :) Burberry London is my HG of scents, and I like PacSun’s LiLu, it’s the portable scent I tend to keep with me- and a bottle of VS Amber Romance body spray in the glove box or laptop bag. Smelling good should never be underestimated!

Its weird because I usually feel like perfume is too obvious on me, I like really light fresh scents. Scents that reind me of rainy days and grass :). But lately I haven’t been wearing anything most of the time because I just forget. When my sister in law was pregnant she started hating on my true star by tommy Hilfiger , and then I started hating the smell too. And then now whenever I wear my only other perfume my brother and my sister in law say I smell like a guy. So I found a tiny pleasueres sample and when I remeber I look around for it and wear that. :)

I wear something everyday. Monday I wore SJP’s Lovely because I just bought it. But for the rest of the week and until I finish it, I’m using Marc Jacobs Cucumber. I bought it last year and am still trying to finish it up!! I guess it was a great deal…$65 for a huge bottle that I bought almost a year ago!

Yes I try to wear perfume every day :) once in a while I might be in a hurry and forget but since moving my perfumes to the bathroom counter instead of a cabinet…its easier to remember :) I also use to work in a scent-free environment where the scent police was always after us - no scented hair products, lotions, deoderant or ANYTHING!! Its amazing how strongly scented most beauty products actually are….I got in trouble for the scent of my sunscreen more than once :( LAME!!! Thank goodness I don’t have to work in a police state environment anymore.

I always wear a dab of Egyptian musk, at least behind my knees or ankles everyday, and for regular old days at work, I wear a light fragrance, like something from Escada, or one of Clean’s fragrances. If not, I just wear more EM, dabbed behind my ears or on my wrists. For special occasions, I’ll reach for Very Sexy, or J Lo Live Luxe, I guess. People are crazy about the Egyptian Musk, on me though. I’ve been wearing it since I was 7(yes, seven!),and it’s most definitely my signature scent. I think it seeps out of my pores now, LOL.

It’s a very gentle, but potent ( ong lasting) fragrance oil. Be careful to get it UNCUT, It’s usually sold by vendors in Muslim communities and on lots of websites now, if you google for it, but you can get it straight from the source at http://www.madinaonline.com
I’ve been using it since I was a little girl because I loved how it smelled on my mom (she very rarely wears it now) and it was the only thing that didn’t irritate my very sensitive skin (I still have to be very careful with perfumes, still. I usually never put them directly on my skin), but this Egyptian Musk I can add directly to my skin (and my homemade body concoctions) and feel safe about it.

I usually wear perfume everyday. My favorite at the moment is D&G Light Blue (even if it is popular.) It’s just one of those scents that smells fresh, sweet, and yummy, but not overpowering in any way, plus it doesn’t give me a headache like most perfumes.
I used to have a couple of scents for special occasions, but I swapped them since I decided that they weren’t really for me. I still have a couple more floral scents though that I would rather wear for special occasions. Givenchy Very Irresistible is one of them. :)

I wear some kind of perfume every day, but the type does depend on what I’m doing that day.
Daytime: Philosophy “Amazing Grace”, Demeter “Lavender Martini” or Lush “Go Green”. I like clean soft scents for the day, I work retail so I want smell nice, but not overpower everyone!
Nighttime (or not at work): Dior Addict (men love this scent!), Calvin Cline “Euphoria Blossom”, Stella McCartney “Rose Absolute”. I like heady florals for the evening.
I’m going to be in the market for a new evening perfume, so suggestions would be great!

Actually, I recently received a sample of Chocolovers by Aquolina and have been using a little everyday….I really love it!
I remember this scent sample called “Fresh” and it smelled like freshly laundered clothes….but I can’t find the company! It would make a lovely home spray!

I wear perfume everyday. It becomes part of my “scent”. My current one is “I Love Love” by Moschino (which somehow smells different in winter and in summer!). My previous one was J’Adore Summer Edition by Dior. Both are light enough to be worn everyday. I’ll just spritz on a few more puffs for special occasions.
But now that summer is here…I have an insane urge to go out and buy tons of summery, floral and beachy perfumes!

Oh, I love my perfume! I match the scent to my clothes and makeup, I’m kind of ashamed to admit. You know, light, pastel makeup does not match a musky, Oriental fragrance….. I’ve always loved YSL’s Opium for drama, D&G’s Light Blue, but my new go-to scents are Jo Malone’s Amber and Lavender (musky and mysterious, but really nice and light), Honeysuckle and Jasmine (my favorite florals), and Pomegranate Noir (yum, I can’t explain this but it’s the one that I get comments on). I keep the scent light for the office, and the only time I don’t wear anything is at the shore. Sun and fragrance do not mix well!
