Im being Barbie, so im going to need to look at your Barbie Loves MAC look now :) I wasnt too into MAC then so I dont have any of the products. If all else fails, i think purples on the eyes would go well. I’m still deciding on the “perfect pink” lipglass/lipstick I will use

I have two looks that I want to do:

    1. Ice Queen! White Frost + Silver Dusk powder all over my lids and brows, like a theatre eye mask. No brows, just frost! White lips with turquoise on the inner area of the lips, and Steamy all over cheeks! Frost, frost, frost! Then lashes with Liquidlast liner on the outer part of them (possibly Aqualine).

    2. Lace mask (Carbon eyeshadow stippled on a lace fabric all over the forehead and down to cheeks) and red lips to go with that. Like this: http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=U-hAcfHDZHM&feature=related

What do you like the best? My hair is almost black, ivory skin. I think that the lace mask will look so neat but I’m not sure how good it will last during 10 hours of work. The Ice Queen is easier to do touch-ups on.

Oh gosh, I can’t decide!! I guess if the Ice Queen is easier to touch-ups… probably more practical. They both would be fantastic.

Actually I am being beautified. As me and three of my friends are going as Robert Palmer girls(you know, the girls from Addicted to Love and Simply Irresistible videos), we all have appointments at MAC to get Black smokey eyes and Red lips. It should turn out nice.

I’m going as a Parisian Whore, Moulin Rouge style, so I’ll be wearing very smokey eyes with red lips and some overdone blush.

  8. Sandy

    Thursday, October 30, 2008

I’m gonna paint lacy mask on my face, plus smokey eyes and red lips. My inspiration is a video MakeupGeek did you her Youtube channel. She’s awesome.

    Thursday, October 30, 2008

I’m going as the Queen of Hearts. I had a smokey eyed look with red eyeshadow in the crease, and then fading out into my cheeks as blush. And of course, red heart-shaped lipstick.

    • Christine

      Thursday, October 30, 2008

What red shadow are you using?

      Sounds like a good plan!

    Thursday, October 30, 2008

I’m going as a ladybug. I’m going to do a variation of MissChevious’ ladybug makeup look.

I’m going to be a dark fairy. I’m wearing Vellum, Lotusland, Parfait Amour, Knight Divine and Stars and Rockets eyeshadows with Feline and Rave eyeliners. I’m using Rave to draw a little design coming out from my eyes. Then I’m wearing black lipstick (lightly) with Ms Fizz over top and a little bit more glitter. And Crushed Bougainvillea on my cheeks. I got these really pretty purple wings too.

I’m being a cat (cliche, I know) so I’m just going to use Long Stem Rose Slimshine, and then Blacktrack to do a cat eye. I haven’t decided if I’m going to make the eye kinda smokey, but I’m definitely doing fake lashes. I’ve tried those evil things before and they never turn out right, so hopefully I can get them to work this time!

    • Christine

      Thursday, October 30, 2008

I was a cat for MANY, MANY years ;) No shame in that game, girl!

Tips on fake lashes… give yourself PLENTY of time… apply them *first* … cut them in half or in thirds if you need to ;)

    Thursday, October 30, 2008

I’m going as a geisha! white face, fluidline eyeliner, and pink eyeshadow around the eyes with pink blush and hardcore bright red lips. I’m excited about it!

I think you should do a halloween contest, like last year! It was really a lot of fun!

    • Christine

      Sunday, November 2, 2008

Sounds really cute :) I really just didn’t have the time to run a Halloween contest this year, sorry!

I’m going to be Richard Simmons. I have some awesome (horrible) american flag running shorts and a fro brown wig. As far as make-up in concearned, this look doesn’t require much, just a lot of brozer, rosy cheeks, and nice long eyelashes.

    • Christine

      Sunday, November 2, 2008

      LOL! That is hilarious, Kellie!!

  21. Lianne

    Thursday, October 30, 2008

I’m going as a geisha, white face paint, red lips, red shadow on the outer corners and white shadow on the inner blended really well together as well as red blush and heavy black liner and mascara.

cleopatra…so LOTS of eyeshadow, really defined eyebrows and tons of eyeliner

    • Ceci

      Thursday, October 30, 2008

Woohoo! I’m going to be Cleopatra too. (Got the short black bob, so why not?) I’m planning to use either the Odd Couple (purple in crease and on lid, copper to highlight) Mineralize duo for the eyes w/black liquid liner or Springtime Skipper (on lid and in crease)/Electra (highlight) MAC shadows w/black liquid liner. Bought Persuasive from the Red, She Said collection originally for the look, but, aside from the glitter (which I’m totally using), I decided it wasn’t bold enough. Using a nude shade of lip color I made from random lip colors I have if I do the Skipper/Electra duo; totally nude lips if I use Odd Couple. Blush: Dainty Mineralize MAC Blush.

Going to be a black cat! Funny that I am such a cat lover and yet have never thought until now to do a look with it!
Last year I was a pink & purple winged fairy!
I always use MAC makeup for my Halloween looks because the products work so much better.
I have this black velvet 1/2 mask with gold glitter around it and it has cat ears on top corners of it! I also bought the most amazingly OUTRAGEOUSLY glam fake lashes to go with it: there are in fact only 4 ultra long lashes (they almost look like whiskers) and their tips are covered in gold glitter (just like the mask). I will also be using my new YSL black lipgloss! So excited!
    I love Halloween!

I’m doing a cop out :). I’m going to a big techno concert on halloween, so I needed something I wouldn’t mind getting mushed in a crowd.

So I’m going as a closet monster :) I did it for some photos last year. I grime up a shirt and do face makeup. I take purple, black and gray eyeshadows and smuge navy blue eyeliner around my eyes to make them look cavernous and pale matte lipstick. Iron my hair and then muck it up and hairspray it and done!

    • Christine

      Sunday, November 2, 2008

That’s not a cop out! That sounds awesome!

I’m going as Catwoman. Super extreme cat eye. I extend it from the outer AND inner corner. Then smoke it up. Gonna contour the hell of out of my cheeks. I have a catwoman mask and I made my cat suit. I cant wait to crack my whip!

I went trick or treating with my son(he was a ninja). I dressed as poison ivy from batman. I copied a tutorial on you tube. I wore pagan and wondergrass on lids, coppering, humid and carbon on crease with lots of black liner and mascara. I wore some green wet and wild lashes on outer lashes. For lips I wore Russian red and the dress camp gold lipgloss. I also glued real ivy above my eye area.
