Summer Bridal Makeup Looks by Rick DiCecca

Estée Lauder has created a look for every bride. Whether your outdoor wedding calls for a natural look, or your nighttime celebration insists on dramatic eyes and bold lips, you can achieve your perfect bridal makeup using one of Rick’s four Bridal Styles: Natural, Classic, Dramatic, or Romantic.

To begin each look, prep your skin with your favorite Estée Lauder skincare products. Use a foundation brush to apply your shade of Double Wear Light Stay-in-Place Makeup SPF 10 or Nutritious Vita-Mineral SPF 15 Makeup to even out skin tone for a flawless base. No matter what look you choose, be sure to apply Double Wear Eyeshadow Base from your lashline to the brow to ensure that your eyes stay fresh and glowing throughout the celebration.

Then try one of the four looks Rick DiCecca created!

NATURAL WEDDING MAKEUP

To achieve a natural flawless look on your wedding day, accentuate your features without going overboard with soft, delicate neutrals.

STEP 1: After your foundation has set, apply Bronze Goddess Soft Matte Bronzer by using the middle of your ear and the tip of your nose as a guide. Blend the powder towards your nose.

STEP 2: Sweep PureColor Eyeshadow in Tea Biscuit across your entire eye lid, starting at the lashline and blending up, buffing shadow into your brow. Using the Double Wear Eye Pencil in Coffee line your upper and lower lashes. Then, soften the look by smudging liner with the smudger end of the pencil. Sweep More Than Mascara in Black over the top and bottom lashes.

STEP 3: Finish by applying PureColor Lipstick in Crystal Beige for a kissable pout.

CLASSIC WEDDING MAKEUP

Follow these simple steps to achieve a perfect combination of classic and chic.

STEP 1: Create your perfect “blushing bride” cheeks with Signature Silky Powder Blush in Pink Kiss. Apply the blush using the middle of your ear and tip of your nose as a guide, blending towards your nose to create natural definition.

STEP 2: Apply PureColor Eyeshadow in Tea Biscuit to your eye lid, starting at the lashline and blending up, buffing shadow into your brow. Apply PureColor Eyeshadow in Copper Penny in the outer corner of your eyes at the crease and blend down to the lashline to contour and define. Neatly line Double Wear Pencil in Coffee along your upper and lower lashline. Sweep Projectionist Mascara in Black over the top and bottom lashes.

STEP 3: Apply the Automatic Lip Liner in Spice to lips. Layer Signature Hydra Lustre Lipstick in Burnished Bronze to lock-in color and set the look.

DRAMATIC WEDDING MAKEUP

To achieve a beautifully dramatic look on your wedding day, follow these steps and all eyes will be on you.

STEP 1: While your foundation is still wet, use a foundation brush to apply Signature Satin Creme Blush in Berry Light along the area under cheekbones to contour and define your face. Using the middle of your ear and the tip of your nose as a guide, dust Signature Silky Powder Blush in Soft Plum onto cheeks and buff the color softly into the skin. Next, apply Signature Silky Powder Blush in Rose Nuance to the apple of your cheeks to lift and brighten.

STEP 2: Apply PureColor Eyeshadow in Pale Moon to your entire lid starting at lashline and blending up, buffing shadow in the brow. Line Double Wear Eye Pencil in Plum Black along upper and lower lashes. Apply Plum Pop PureColor Eyeshadow over liner to set and create soft definition. Sweep Sumptuous Bold Volume Lifting Mascara in Black over upper and lower lashes.

STEP 3: Create bold and sultry lips by starting with Automatic Lip Liner in Fig. Next, layer with Signature Hydra Lustre Lipstick in Plum Frost. Finish with High Gloss in Pearl.

ROMANTIC WEDDING MAKEUP

For the sweet romantic wedding look you’ve always dreamed of, use these tips to create soft features with romantic accents.

STEP 1: While your foundation is still wet, begin by applying Signature Satin Creme Blush in Nude Light along the area under cheekbones to contour and define. Using the middle of your ear and tip of your nose as a guideline, create a natural flush by dusting on Signature Silky Powder Blush in Fresh Plum. Layer Signature Silky Powder Blush in Pink Kiss to the apple of your cheeks to lift and brighten.

STEP 2: Apply PureColor Eyeshadow in Ivory Box on the browbone to highlight eyes. Starting at your lashline apply PureColor Eyeshadow in Tea Biscuit, blending up and over lid, buffing shadow into the brow. Apply and smudge Double Wear Eye Pencil in Coffee into the lashline. Finish by sweeping Sumptuous Bold Volume Lifting Mascara in Black over top and bottom lashes.

STEP 3: Line and fill in lips with Automatic Lip Liner in Spice. Layer with Signature Hydra Lustre Lipstick in Burnished Bronze. Finish with High Gloss in Honey.

Beautiful looks, I think Romantic is my favorite!

  2. The makeup for my wedding was similar to this Romantic one. :) So beautiful.

Natural and classic look a lot alike–classic is just a bit darker. My look was close to the classic look. I really like the romantic look though.

  4. Ceci

I like the Natural and Classic…the other two are too pinkish for my taste

Those models have blue eyes? what if the bride has brown eyes?
does those looks great on any skintone?

  7. classic

    I luv the romantic one

  8. The romantic is really nice for darker skin tones a little more pink in the cheeks wud probably work better oranges usually don’t show on us

  9. I love the romantic example! I would suggest your brides consider wearing a Bridal Mini garment when testing their makeup. It’s new to the bridal market, but is really helpful when selecting the right look for the wedding day.

My mum is getting married next year and I think the natural look would be amazing for her, she doesn’t wear a lot of make up and has asked me to do hers on the day, I will use that as a guide. For me (only Bridesmaid wearing gold) I will use the classic look as a guide substituting Copper Penny for a more golden shade.
