Some of my personal picks from shu uemura are their Cleansing Oils (High Performance is one I use often; gave their cleansing oils an Editor’s Choice Award last year!) and Eyelash Curler (I have three of them!). Happy shopping! 🙂
Oo, glad I looked at this blog today! Just in time for the sale! *YES*
Yay! I have been wanting a new eyelash curler. Thanks for the tip!
Thank you so much for this! I have heard nothing but good things about Shu Uemura’s eyelash curler, and their eyelash adhesive.
Thank you! Will it work for hair products too?
I don’t think so as the hair site seems to work independently of the makeup/skincare one!
try the new lip & cheek stain. I love it, matte & nonsticky and easy to blend
I’m trying to buy the eye lash curler and entered the discount code. It says “not applied”
Am I doing something wrong?
You have to order $50+ to get the discount!
I want to try their eyebrow pencil, but there’s a disclaimer that it doesn’t come sharpened with the sword shape. Has anyone who has ordered this recently tell me how it looks when you get it? Does it just look like a regular pencil? Kind of a silly question, but hate to order it and then I can’t sharpen it… lol.
I have no idea, lol! 🙁
it looks like a regular pencil. You can sharpen it with a regular pencil sharpener. Or you can take the pencil to any Shu counter and they will sharpen it into sword shape for you. Once it is in sword shape, it is not hard to maintain it yourself.
But it is so hard to find the Shu counter in US, i think they close all the counter in US. I heard people in Hong Kong or Taiwan they just carry the brow pencil while going out shopping, and stop by at the mall to sharpen in the Shu counter.
Love their cleansing oils–I use the ultime8 sublime–but even better, I found a total gem of a moisturizer from Shu as well. It’s called Deepsea Hydrability Moisturizing Emulsion (the emulsion..not the lotion version). It is super light and non-greasy, penetrates quicky and hydrates incredibly well. Highly recommended.
Ooh, that is tempting me!
My favorite pressed powder (the face architect in fair sand! it was so perfect) was discontinued in the US, I’m pretty sure. Sad! I wish I had stocked up.
I hate when things get discontinued 🙁
Hi Christine, since you have 3 of the eyelash curlers. I was wondering how long you would say these last on average? I’m trying to get to $50 for the code to work so contemplating buying more than one eyelash curler.
I usually keep mine for two years or longer, I’ve never really felt like they’ve gone “bad” but eventually I replace them.
You have no idea how HAPPY I am that you’ve extended this offer to Canadians too! This is the best! Thanks Christine!
🙂
Oooh! You need the giant white powered brush and the classic red powder/ blush/ whatever brush! Nothing compares. Numbers 27 and 18R.
The colors are very Asian oriented, as a silver headed Euro American I look absurd in them, but the brushes are spectacular and if you ever get to a Shu store in Asia it’s full on beauty/ spa thing. I follow some Chinese beauty blogs intermittently, Raymond Choi just redid the Lash Bar with Qee Bears and set me on to this. The stores are amazing! Just exquisite! Outrageous prices, but that’s Hong Kong.
I take it back. The Murakami Holiday colors are amazing!
I’m going to be so broke.
Great savings but they’re out of their Balancing Cleansing oil. Bummer. Would have loved to take part in the sale but now…
