I want to try their eyebrow pencil, but there’s a disclaimer that it doesn’t come sharpened with the sword shape. Has anyone who has ordered this recently tell me how it looks when you get it? Does it just look like a regular pencil? Kind of a silly question, but hate to order it and then I can’t sharpen it… lol.

it looks like a regular pencil. You can sharpen it with a regular pencil sharpener. Or you can take the pencil to any Shu counter and they will sharpen it into sword shape for you. Once it is in sword shape, it is not hard to maintain it yourself.

But it is so hard to find the Shu counter in US, i think they close all the counter in US. I heard people in Hong Kong or Taiwan they just carry the brow pencil while going out shopping, and stop by at the mall to sharpen in the Shu counter.

Love their cleansing oils–I use the ultime8 sublime–but even better, I found a total gem of a moisturizer from Shu as well. It’s called Deepsea Hydrability Moisturizing Emulsion (the emulsion..not the lotion version). It is super light and non-greasy, penetrates quicky and hydrates incredibly well. Highly recommended.

Hi Christine, since you have 3 of the eyelash curlers. I was wondering how long you would say these last on average? I’m trying to get to $50 for the code to work so contemplating buying more than one eyelash curler.

Oooh! You need the giant white powered brush and the classic red powder/ blush/ whatever brush! Nothing compares. Numbers 27 and 18R.

The colors are very Asian oriented, as a silver headed Euro American I look absurd in them, but the brushes are spectacular and if you ever get to a Shu store in Asia it’s full on beauty/ spa thing. I follow some Chinese beauty blogs intermittently, Raymond Choi just redid the Lash Bar with Qee Bears and set me on to this. The stores are amazing! Just exquisite! Outrageous prices, but that’s Hong Kong.
