Quick Look: Soft Neutrals & Chanel Lips

I meant to post this awhile ago, but I forgot — this was an ultra quick look I did in the beginning of February! On top of MAC Soft Ochre paint pot (as a base), I wore MAC Ricepaper eyeshadow all over the lid (and brow bone) with MAC Woodwinked eyeshadow in the crease–and that’s about it!  Oh! and Baked by Urban Decay for liner, I believe… (This is why you’re not supposed to *forget* to post stuff, because then you just forget what’s in it!) Benefit Sugarbomb for blush with Chanel Mandarin Rouge Allure Laque.

What’s YOUR quick look?

you know I realy love your soft looks, and this colour lippie is lovely on you. you are very pretty for me softer, the better...

ha ha - this is almost exactly the same as my quick look - ricepaper with texture in the crease, lucky, bourbon, or corrupt UD liner on the lower lashes, and brighter lipstick and either sugarbomb, posie tint, or orgasm blush.

I was wondering what you used on your brows? They look almost "wet" looking? I just really like the look. Thanks!

I just use MAC Espresso eyeshadow :)

love this! that lipstick ties it all together. its so pretty.

That lipstick is gorgeous O_O want

I love this look, the lipstick looks great on you!

Aw, thank ya Alexandra!

I tried this this afternoon :) Super pretty! I have a couple quick looks like this - just brown neutrals with 2 shadows. Love it :)

you look so pretty here, love the lip color on you too

My quick look is Bare Study paint pot as base, Chamomile all over the lid and as a highlight on the brow bone, Modelette and Mulled Cider (or Modelette and Cranberry, depending on my mood) in the crease, Feline on the upper waterline, then Blushbaby as blush and Benefit Good-to-go on the lips.

I love that red! it's a nice change from the super bold reds i usually like

Thats an awesome lipcolor on you Christine.im an nc 20 hopefully it will look as good on me as it does on you.

Thanks, Silvia! :) I am NC25!

You look lovely, Christine. It's interesting, Mandarin looks SO different on you than it does on me. On me, it looks really red. I think this might actually be my favourite Rouge Allure Laque on you, even more than Dragon. You look wonderful with orange reds; when you did the Scarlet Season, you looked fab in nearly all the orange reds. I've actually gone to my makeup drawer while typing this comment and slicked on Mandarin, haha!

Thank you, Frances! Oh, wow, it's definitely not a true red on me (like Dragon or Coromandel). Thank you!! :)

quick look: bobbi brown shimmering nudes palette and mac superdupernatural blush. And i see you do always use benefit's sugarbomb! It looks really good on you :)

Nice! The Shimmering Nudes palette is classic! LOL, I totally default to it now!

As usual... flawless!!! love your neutral looks!!! you look so pretty!!! that lipstick looks great on you... gotta check it... Have a great weekend!!!

Aw, thank ya, Luisafer! Have a good weekend!

great look as always. WHen you apply the rouge allure laques, do you used the applicator or a different brush? Thanks!

Thanks, Steph! :) I use the applicator!

Very Pretty...love the eyeshadow! You really can pull off any lipstick! =) I definitely think a neutral eye with bold lips is the best way to wear a brighter lipstick.

Thanks so much, Casey :D

Very pretty. I've been meaning to buy Mandarin for a long time now. I will jump to it. My quick look is even more basic than yours, Christine. I dab on some MUFE full cover concealer, fill in my brows, add some MUFE aqua black liner, Chanel Inimitable mascara, and then a lipstick or gloss. The shade depends on my mood.

Thanks, Shontay! It's a good shade ;) Your quick look sounds very nice & streamlined!

I love these quick looks, you should do more. XOXO

That looks really pretty! Are you wearing any foundation? If not, then your skin looks really fantastic in these pictures, I'm quite jealous! My "quick look" is basically... wearing nothing lol. But if I will be out for longer than an hour or so, I'll usually just put some mascara on, maybe some eyeliner and gloss.

I'm wearing Kiehl's Tinted Moisturizer :)

It's definitely looking great, and seems to match your skin tone perfectly!

what foundation or tinted moisturizer are you using in this look?

Kiehl's tinted moisturizer!

What a gorgeous look! Mandarin is a pretty lip colour!

love this look! You look good in red lipstick :)
