Every year, I always get excited about the sale, just because I tend not to purchase much besides shoes and beauty products from Nordstrom… but the sale always allows me a little more room to maneuver and consider other purchases, too. Oh yes I was up at the stroke of midnight shopping! I got 2 pairs of Rock & Republic jeans. Had to think FAST though, sizes were selling out like crazy!

I am a hardcore Nordstrom shopper, mainly because I ADORE the service in the store. I do not like to shop Nordstrom online because I need to see, touch, smell (yes I mean smell) the merchandise before even trying it on. There were numerous items that they did not even carry in the Lloyd Center store in Portland, Oregon. I am not pleased with the online shopping trend, it does not offer the same stellar service that their sales personnel provide. Sad, sad state of affairs that is for sure.

I agree that in-store is great, but I myself do like online shopping for some things. I also love that you can return in-store :) I didn’t want to brave the crowds on the first day of the sale so I bought online :P

I was quite excited for this sale… it’s actually my first year partaking in the Nordstrom shopping fun! All of a sudden, I got super girly. Before I liked shoes, but now I was on a mission to get shoes! Lol~
I got MAC Fresh Cut palette, and Sweet Tease Look in a Box. Then Philosophy Microdelivery wash (the last one, too!) – the cap was a bit messed up and it was actually the display bottle, though it was completely sealed and everything so I got a free bag of travel size Philosophy products for free, and a pump too. And the Celebrate Life body wash.
As for shoes, Franco Sarto Artist Collection ‘Yves’ Mary Jane Pump, anddd BCBGeneration ‘Tinas’ Platform Pump.

i picked up the graphic garden & fresh cut palettes, sweet tease look in a box & both brush sets. i really wanted the lip bags, but they’re out of stock online, so ima have to try to find them in store. overall, very excited to have everything in my hands!
