I recently bought cactus flower instead. The thing that i noticed about it, the colour shows differently depending how you apply it. If you use a blush brush it is a dramatic red or pinky-red. If you dab a small small bit on your finger and then rub it in, its like a nice summer glow. And if you dab a bit more on your finger and then rub it in you will see more and more colour. With this blush, believe it or not you can get a variety of different looks.
I have guele de nuit and love it. I'm eyeing cactus flower...really closely! I love the pigment in these they last forever!

i like the close-up pics of the blushes from the counter display...it's better in my opinion than publicity pics (which are highly photoshopped) or pics of the products before they are touched, because it gives a better idea of their texture... i'm thinking about cactus flower actually... what about you, christine?
If only they didn't look so gross. I just get so ewww when I see them, LOL. Especially up-close. But I figured even if they look totally used, the color is still true :) Cactus Flower is the one that stuck out to me the most!
where did you get the nars creme blush palette from?
I think the "palette" is actually the tester most NARS counters have for the customers to swatch and try on before buying, but I could be wrong.
I thought to myself are these store testers?.. but I remember you stating you take photos of your products etc..so thats why I was thinking "where she get the cool palette"?
it's from the counter. I am so familiar with the NARS counter setting -_-; well unless she gets the whole thing from the counter and bring it home ;O. I think she took the pic at the counter.
Oh no, these are all taken in-store, because I was aiming for completeness. I only own a few NARS products! I wish I owned all these ;)

Does Cactus Flower look anything like Nars powder blush in Torrid? I don't know which one to get now!! They are both so gorgeous. :/
No, cactus flower is more of a water-melonish red with gold sparkles whereas Torrid is more of a coralish pink. Hope this helps!

I don't think so! I think Torrid is darker, not quite so coral-red.
Is it just me, or does gold member is a weird shade for a blush? It srikes as something for a photoshot only.
It's meant to be a highlighter, or to be worn over other blushes. Works good as a cream shadow too.

Love, love, love NARS cream (and powder) blushes - I have Penny Lane, Lokoum, Guele De Nuit and Cactus Flower. And you only need to use a few dabs of them.

Contrary to popular belief, Orgasm does not show up well on me - yes, I am talking about the blush ha. Anyway, I also tried the Multiple and still nothing. I may give Cactus Flower a whirl because it looks like it'ls almost like Orgasm - pinky/peach with just a hint of gold. We'll see - thanks for swatching and posting this btw!

i was so scared that you were posting new cream blushes from nars! i've been reeling from my impulse purchase of mekong (which i justified by wearing it four out of five days this week to work) and am currently lemming dolce vita since my MUA thought i needed some color on my cheeks when i said i was thinking of a matte blush. the lokoum and turkish red look great! *sigh*

I have penny lane and it is AWESOM!!! You can use it on the lips a bit as well with a bit of gloss and it is really pretty. It gives a really soft, natural flush. On the lips it is pretty over Belle Du Jour lipstick.

I have guelle de nuit and LOVE it I think these cream blushes are definetly superior to MAC cream blushes. They are not as greasy as MAC ones and they last much longer also great as a base 2 any powder blush you might have

I own Cactus Flower and I just love it. The color payoff and consistency is perfect. I love how it blends into my skin and gives me a natural glow. Definitely a must-have IMO!
