heyy christine :) im on the mac website at the minute about to choose some things for christmas. i think the eye kits looks super pretty but i dont know whether to get the smoke and mirrors or the devil may care warm kit. :S because the smoke and mirrors looks like i would wear it much more but the colours in devil may care look gorgeous. which would you recommend? xox
Hey Kerry, Between those two... probably Devil May Care. It's a really great palette, even though it's not like the most original palette ever by MAC. The Smoke & Mirrors palette is nice, but you can easily replicate it with permanent shades.
Gosh, these are so cute! If you guys had to pick between one of these eyeshadow palettes or the Urban Decay Book of Shadows Vol. 2, which one would it be?? I'm so torn!
Wow... these e/s palettes are SO tempting!!! Is that brush that's included a mini MAC quality brush or is it just some cheapo brush that comes in a MAC palette?
It's just a cheap brush. I'd never use it, personally!

yea smoke and mirror looks nice and practical :) and hocus focus looks nice too but i already have pretty baby from hello kitty collection and ive never used it lol so maybe just one eyeshadow kits... gta save money for upcoming collections...... urghhh MAC is killin me!
I got to pre-order mine yesterday..... They are really little ....It's kind of cute but it doesn't seem like there is a lot of product. The bags are adorable though ....I got all four

I went to my MAC counter at Macys and they were doing pre-orders. I know that the collections are usually available to order the Tuesday before release but other then that Im not sure.

Yeah those look awesome but I agree with the people who say that the packaging looks cheap. MAC always likes to sell us quads in crap packaging that looks like something Wet n Wild would put out.
I wanted to be in love with this collection more than anything. I like the sound of some of the e/s palettes and maybe a lip palette or 2 but I hate the packaging. It's okay but looks very plain and cheap to me. It's not what I think of when I think MAC, I may get a few things but that packaging is really putting me off....
i absolutley love the 2 face kits, i cant wait to get them, b.c they have 2 blushes from the reg line that i dont already have- what a good deal! i love how they added these face ones, b/c in the past its only been eyes and lips palettes.

I cannot wait for these to come out. Im already putting money aside to buy these. I think its such a great bargain to buy the shadows, you get great colors and they are so less expensive.

OMG. this is baddd for me. I told myself i would stop buying makeup but how could i with all of these coming out?! Haha. Im getting most of them now. :] Im only not getting like 2 or 3 :] :]
I am also getting bored with MAC's holiday kits. It seems like they trot out the same lame combos every year. I remember eye and lip palettes that had 10 shades in them! They just seem like they're not really trying to be exciting anymore.
I am so lucky I hate kits!!! I'm already getting like $500 of cosmetics and any more would cause certain death...
Are the face kits just a bunch of blushes? What a ripoff.. They SHOULD call it "Blush Kit".

am i the only person that's not excited by this? i feel like i'm missing something, its so sad, i was so excited when i heard the name of the collection, maybe some of the mineral eyeshadows they are releasing will appeal to me, i think i just had too high hopes for the christmas collections, i'm always let down by them! but everyone else seems to love them! haha i dont get it!

my list: hocus focus face kit (definitely) if there are lip kits that aren't in a palette, ill be interested if they have pigment sets ill check those out and smoke & mirrors eyeshadow palette [if the palettes as good as last years smokey eye palete, which i wanted so bad but wasnt into mac at the time] :(
I don't want to be a downer but these sound so boring... and the packaging :s I was expecting so much more from a collection with a name like this!

Eh... I don't like the "bubble" art. It reminds me of cheap makeup or makeup geared towards teens. Hard Candy has/had something similar (regarding the bubble art). Maybe I'll wait until it's at my local CCO. Otherwise, I'm not interested.
