I’m kinda xcited about the “She-Zam” Dazzleglass (sheer silver with silver and red pearl) and about the nail laquers “$$$ Yes Metallic” (silver foil), “Lucky Number” (metallic blue pink). I personaly think MAC should change their nail laquer formula BADLY! But then again, I’m always the dummie who buys the lacquers when they come out! Oh Jesus, TAKE THE WHEEL!

    • Meg

      Monday, August 3, 2009

hahahahah all i have to say is i laughed out loud when i read “jesus, TAKE THE WHEEL”

hahhaha seriously, that’s what i think all the time

Don’t care for MAC’s mineral stuff either but I did get my hands on 2 of the new dazzleglasses last week, She-Zam & Phiff! She-Zam is really something else, I love it. Just the type of dazzleglass that can go on top of so many lip colors & really doll it up. Phiff!, I am not to sure about yet as I haven’t had enough time to play with it. But all dazzleglasses end up being winners IMO.

  6. Elise

    Monday, August 3, 2009

I’m addicted to dazzleglasses, so I want them all. Especially since the colors look very nice to me. I love all the lipsticks too, but that can change when I see them in person. As for mineralized eye shadows I have to swatch them for myself before getting any as MAC tends to make them look very pretty in pictures and in the box but don’t always turn out to look good on a real life person! Who knows, it could be a very large haul for me or just dazzleglasses? Still, can’t wait for MAC holiday sets!! The eye sets, pigments….Still a few months to go.

Partial to Pink is the only Cremesheen launched that I don’t have. I think I’ll get it since I use Boy Bait and Ever so Rich frequently.

  15. Rebecca

    Monday, August 3, 2009

$$$$ Yes is gorgeous but a total nightmare to apply. Unless you have mad skills, I would save your money for something with a better formula.

    • Aubree

      Monday, August 3, 2009

      I agree! :( I’ll probably get a lippie and a cremesheen glass.

-is disappointed with the e/s duos-

  18. Chiara

    Monday, August 3, 2009

Just by the descriptions, I’m not tempted by many things in this collection, I own a few mineralize e/s and that’s enough for me, I’m not a huge fan of them. But OMG dazzleglasses! Love them, I’ll probably buy some of them.

  19. Coloruza

    Monday, August 3, 2009

I’m not diggin the idea of the “base” and “crescent” parts of the duo shadows. I don’t want more of one and not the other! :-)

I am excited about the peach lip colors, dazzleglasses, and blushes though :-)

  20. binnie

    Monday, August 3, 2009

  29. nicole

    Monday, August 3, 2009

aww the color selection for the cremesheens isn’t what i expected ):
i wanted a vibrant pink color.
    not that into dazzleglasses anymore.
but i do like that coral blush (:

  30. Christy

    Monday, August 3, 2009

Yeah, more mineralize blush and cremesheens! I missed out on cremesheens because of the Hello Kitty launch, but I’ll pick up a few this time. Plus I love dazzleglass, so I’ll probably get all 3.

  33. itsliz89

    Monday, August 3, 2009

I might be interested in Utter Fun. Have to see more photos of it of course. That’s about it honestly. I’m disappointed that there aren’t any single pigments like the your ladyship, sweet sienna of 2007. I LOVE pigments.

    • AA

      Monday, August 3, 2009

I agree with you. I’m ready for some pigments! I LOVE PIGMENTS!

  34. Ali

    Monday, August 3, 2009

I personally like the mineralize eye shadows but I’m not sure if I’m into these too much. I may pick up one or two. I’m probably going to get the polishes and the eye pencils as well. I have too many lip products so I’ll probably skip those.

  35. Lindsey

    Monday, August 3, 2009

i dont like the mineralize shadows that much, and cremesheen glasses werent my fave so my list is:

  38. Sarah

    Monday, August 3, 2009

Mineralized Eyeshadows and Blush – be mine!

I already have the Cremesheen glasses and the Dazzleglasses don’t look too different from my collection of about 14! So I’ll let them go. But yes eyeshadows and blush – oooh… hot, hot, hot!

  39. kp

    Monday, August 3, 2009

I hate the mineralize eyeshadows. I LOVE the blushes and mineralize skinfinishes and all that good stuff but i really just hate the eyeshadows. Im not excited about much of anything in here. its all repromotes, but nothing is an amazing repromote!! wheres all the good stuff you had mac?! bring that out! like the damn smoke signals collection… C Shock… I even liked strange hybrid.

    Tuesday, August 4, 2009

okay, i honestly don’t like the cresent shaped idea.
mac, sooner or later you are going to be putting triangles on MES

  58. Nadia

    Tuesday, August 4, 2009

i’m disappointed as well, i got two of the quad mineralized shadows from the colour craft collection and i’m not a huge fan of them. So i doubt i’m going to get these eyeshadows. But the dazzleglass and creamsheen look nice. Will have to wait for swatches before i can make up my mind.

  59. Brittany

    Tuesday, August 4, 2009

not really appealing, i mean MAc common’! for a holiday collection you’d think they’d step up and take it out. the ‘kit’ packaging looks cute tho……

  60. Marcela

    Tuesday, August 4, 2009

It looks okay, nothing out of this world really, I would skip on this one for sure.

  61. Wendy

    Wednesday, August 5, 2009

Oooooo I want the She-Zam for sure.
But also the Blue Sorcery and It’s a miracle eyeshadow duos.
As soon as I see that limited edition phrase I’m hooked, even though I have enough makeup to start a shop :o)

  62. Chase

    Wednesday, August 5, 2009

what finish is Utter Fun? I hope it’s amplified or cremesheen!

  63. Stacey

    Thursday, August 6, 2009

I wish MAC would just cool it with the mineral stuff. I’m so bored of it! Nothing spectacular about this collection… I bet the lipsticks will all be lustres or something ridiculously low in pigment.

    • Chase

      Friday, August 7, 2009

I have one mineralize blush from Grand duos, and it’s way too shimmery. I know that sometimes the mineralize products are released with different textures, so I hope these blushes turn out to be the same texture as the Sugarsweet MSFs.

  64. Stacey

    Thursday, August 6, 2009

Ok after looking at the promo image again I feel a bit angry! There is nothing magical or mischievous about it at all. Boo MAC.

  65. jolenz

    Thursday, August 6, 2009

  68. theglosspost

    Sunday, August 9, 2009

    Tuesday, October 6, 2009

  81. Mai

    Friday, October 16, 2009

I’m not a big fan of the minerals but today when I went into mac and swatched it I just fell in love.I went there for the eye kits and came home with all of the minerals.I just couldnt leave um behind.SUPER PRETTY!I think that some of the eye shadows in the kits werent that great. The color pay off on the minerals were outstanding. Both blushes were real nice.Cremesheens kind of look all the same to me, one is enough.
