I used Copper (metal) pigment on lid, White Tie eyeshadow on inner lid, Rye eyeshadow on middle of lid, Showstopper eyeshadow on outer lid and crease, Grain eyeshadow above crease, White Tie eyeshadow on brow, and Graphblack technakohl on lower lash line. I wore Margin blush with Harmony blush to contour. I had CB96 lipstick with Prestigious lipglass on my lips.

Hi:
I was looking for a site to learn to wear make up, and found one at yours. These tutorials are great. Loved it. Thank you for all the information; it really helped.

I have no idea if you’ll get this, being that this entry is fairly old, but what does White Tie eye shadow look like? Is there a picture anywhere you can think of? I know you use this a lot and I don’t have it (I think it was in one of the palettes?), so I was wondering what a good alternative would be. :)

Hey Skyler! I see all comments, regardless of the post’s age :) I’m glad you subscribed, too, so you can see my response easily!
White Tie is very similar to Nylon eyeshadow, to be honest. You could easily substitute it for White Tie! :)

Just wanted to post this here
Q: Where can I find the colors you used in this look?
A: Copper (metal) pigment is found at MAC PRO stores only, but you can use your favorite base, and the effect won’t be too different. You could try using a dark base and putting Antiqued or Bronze eyeshadows on top. Grain is a permanent color. White Tie is similar to Nylon, which is permanent. Showstopper can be substituted by Swiss Chocolate or Mystery eyeshadow.

Very pretty– but next time you do that, be careful of the stain between your teeth and the little hairs below the lip.

My lips are extremely magnified, so unfortunately you’re going to see a little fuzz, LOL. It’s part of being human!
